Was in the coffee house today and could not have asked for better service . Our chai tea was hot and spicy with added whipped cream on top. My chicken salad croissant was the best ever, and I am picky about my chicken… The staff were tired but still graceful and joyful… Our food and drinks were given to us within minutes of ordering.We will be back…

I would not recommend this place. I love the coffee and the food, but every time I order, I feel like I’m just an inconvenience. I’m a waitress, so I know how customers should be treated. I also know that some days aren’t so easy. But after this last time, I will not be giving my business there, and encourage others not to either. There were four workers, no one said have a nice day, no one smiled. Our food was set on a bag for us to bag up ourselves, no thank you. Nothing. Very disappointed.

Enjoy a great cup of coffee, a simple lunch, and a nice boutique shopping experience at the Bucyrus tradition, the Pelican Coffee Shop. Enjoy their signature Triple White Out, or my personal favorite, a triple espresso cappuccino with a fresh cookie, muffin, or bagel, while looking through the selection of the attached Amish Vault. This is a good stop with a nice atmosphere and attentive service.

The coffee is mediocre at best. I can get a better cup of coffee at Tim Hortons. The staff is very rude and has inappropriate conversations while customers sit inside at the tables. Along with complaining about other customers. I’m curious as to why it takes 4 of them behind the counter with such a low volume of business.

They were kinda rude, after a customer would order, they would have a conversation with them, while someone else was waiting in line. Its quite an inconvenience if one had places to go or on a lunch break.

Coffee and food is good here but service not so much. Sometimes we get lucky and they are pleasant and pseudo-friendly. One day last week my daughter and I went there for coffee before bible study. We got there at 5:53 pm. The sign said open. Their website said until 6 pm. When we walked in the girl behind the counter was walking towards the back and turned around and saw us and she rolled her eyes and sighed heavily and kept walking towards the back. My daughter and I looked at each other and was like don’t they close at six? So we decided to go ahead and leave. I thought that if a business is open until six and a customer comes in at 5:53 They should still serve you but apparently not this place. That’s very unfortunate because I’ve been a customer of the pelican since they first opened. That’s not the first time we’ve experienced the employees being somewhat rude and unwelcoming. Now the employees in the connecting Amish Vault are always nice and friendly.

We had frozen hot chocolates made with almond milk. They were a refreshing treat for us. 5 staff was friendly and engaging and very efficient. We already went back twice!

Took my mother here just yesterday and she loved looking around the shop. Loves the hand crafted items and enjoyed the Cafe. Looking forward to stopping again.

Good coffee but rude workers

The service is great here! Really nice ladies . On one of our smoothies they had extra they made a little drink for our 2yr old daughter.The coffee and smoothies are really satisfying. The triple white out is my go to drink from here. Ive tried many of the drinks and they are all great. Definitely the best coffee in town hand down.

Their drinks are good, but not great. They measure everything, when being a barista is an art. You learn to go by the look of the espresso, the look and feel of the shots of flavoring, and sound of the change in the pitch in the steamed milk to make a good, stiff froth for your cappuccino or latte. And their espresso is somewhat on the bitter side. As a former barista there, and the comments I hear about it now from former customers, and from getting my own drinks, there is such a huge difference in styles and how the drinks taste!

This is the holy grounds for any coffee drinker. Hands down worth the great trek. Pelican Coffee House has the best coffee in the land. Period.

Inside the atmosphere is pretty. The staff on the Amish vault side have always been super friendly to me. The staff on the Pelican side, serving coffee however is another story. Especially the lady with blonde hair about mid 50’s. If I have to hear her negative mouth any longer I’m going to McDonald’s for lattes.

Ive only been here a few times, but their Snow Cap (white chocolate and vanilla) is easily the best drink Ive ever had in my life. The staff are friendly, too. Solid four stars.

Great little coffee shop in Bucyrus. Good coffee choices, with a few small food options as well. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff is friendly. Interior is newer and very clean. This seems to be the go-to place for mornings in Bucyrus.

The regular staff is friendly and sassy in a fun way. The coffee is good and so are their sandwiches. Pricing is on par with a typical coffeeshop. It can be difficult to find a table during rush times. The walls have art which can be purchased from the other part of the store. I usually just enjoy reading the quote signs while I work. They have free WiFi too.

Very well know for the triple white out but my all to.e favorite is the sweetheart. Everyone to enjoys coffee should check this place out

Giving 3 stars instead of 1 because I love the owners and they are very nice, and the workers on the Amish Vault side are very nice. But the women who make the coffee are very rude and have no customer service skills at all. They never greet you with a smile and act like its a chore for them to make your coffee and food. The have messed up our orders on numerous occasions and never apologize. I ordered a caramel frappe today and had a coworker pick it up she brings it back and its a hot caramel coffee which was so gross I didnt drink it. I called them and told them they messed up my order and got no apology just come in and Ill make you a new one. I cant leave work so I was out of luck. If they werent the only coffee shop in town I would never go back.

Ive only ever had great experiences at The Pelican Coffee House. The ladies that work there are so kind and welcoming, the coffee is great, and the atmosphere is cozy.

Some of the worst customer service Ive ever had.The whole time I am waiting for my order to be taken, until I was handed my coffee, the two workers were talking bad about other customers, loud and clear in front of me and others. And when asked if they have a certain flavor coffee I was told in an annoyed voice, uh ya, there in alphabetical order on the board. Just ALWAYS rude to me. Slow service as well, and I am pretty sure the sizes have gotten smaller. As far as the coffee goes, ill hold my tongue to the rude employees to get some.
