I brought my car in for some body repair. The guy there said that it can take several hundred dollars but hell to try to get it done for a lot cheaper. I said I dont want to spend a ton of money. I drop off the car early Mon. morning and am told that I should receive a call later in the morning with an estimate. I had to call multiple times to get an estimate. Im finally given an estimate of $450 and that they need 1 more day. Next day I had to call a couple of times to check the status. They told me they need 1 more day. Next day my daughter dropped me off at the shop and left for work. When Im ready to pay they tell me the final amount is $910! I was shocked! When I asked to speak to the guy who gave me the quote they said he had left for the day and that I have to come again tomorrow morning to talk to him and pick up the car. I ask for a ride home and Im told that theres no one to give me a ride! So now Im stuck without a ride. I had a friend pick me up. Next day After a long back and forth they drop the cost to $730. The whole experience was extremely stressful. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!

In my opinion, Buffalo Grove Auto Center and Car Wash is the best in town! Excellent customer service and fantastic prices. They even stayed late on a Friday to finish a brake job for me! Trust me, this is the best mechanic in the area. I highly recommend!

Will not be coming back cause of couple of reasons.. Been coming here for couple of years.1st - Went to change my brake pads. Had to come back again the next morning as the brakes started making noise. They left the calipers and screws loose. I would personally prefer to pay some extra for professional work and not spend my time coming again for the same thing.2nd - Thought of giving another shot for some body work. Apparently, you have to pay $125/hr labor charge to drill two screws in one of the car bumpers. It doesn’t sound to me an hour worth work.3rd - I was told they lose money on oil changes and regular maintenance of your car. I would rather not make them lose any more money and take my business elsewhere who value their customers.4th - They used to be fair priced, I don’t think they are anymore. Their definition of being fair now is - don’t ask any questions.

Everyone was nice. I pulled in and there wasnt anyone in line. 3 teenagers came up to start the outside and do the windows inside and what not. It took about 30 mins for everything. The inside wasnt vacuumed. The dash was barely wiped down. The outside was clean since it went through the wash but they barely wiped it down after it came out. The positive side is they were friendly but Im not sure Ill ever go back for a $25 carwash.

I will not recommend to go there to no one. My mom stopped there today to ask to put more air in the tire. We are used to go there with a previous owner all the times. While the worker put the air in the tire he told my mom that she need to change tires because they are not good anymore and also she need to change the brakes. My mom is 73 years old. I’m not even gonna talk about the brand that he recommend to my mom saying that it’s really really good. So mom immediately called me and they took her to the different place for check up. I knew there is something stinky because she has only 36,000 miles on her car and the car is only four years old. And I was absolutely right in my suspicious. She don’t need to do anything. The person just wanna take an advantage over older lady. Such a shame.

Took my daughters car there for some minor repairs. The price was fair and the people I dealt with seemed to be honest.

Car wheels were damaged, car wash kid didn’t know how to put in neutral and while wheels locked dragged them on belt entire car wash circle causing aligment damage, tire damage and scratch on rear right rim since car slided to the side. Business owner denied to cover anything and was rude and not professional. Never coming back and do not recommend to use this place.

Will not go back. Happy with the initial work, but when problem recurred they repaired it and identified more work that needed to be done. Nephew just graduated and has no job and no money. He said he will bring car back when he has money. Next day, still hear the a noise underneath and I got a lecture about how they dont like to waste time with diagnostics. Not the way I expected them to do business. Advised nephew to take car elsewhere, Ill pay for the repairs and the rework that needs to be done.

I brought in my 2008 Cadillac DTS thinking that the worst has happened. I was half right, I needed my transmission replaced along with a couple of other issues. Miraculously, they found a transmission and had it delivered to them way early. They dropped the engine and trans in a day and are prepped to get the work finished possibly a day early. They were willing to wait for me to pay at a different time as the work was being finished. Not only did they diagnose the issue I was having, but they also went above and beyond making sure that the rest of the common problems this drive train has wont be a problem. The pricing was competitive. The staff is fantastic. Its been awhile since Ive been to a mechanic shop this great!UPDATE: The car was finished on time and fantastic! The detailed the vehicle for free and stayed in budget with the extra work they did. I cant possibly reccomend this place enough! Thanks guys!

We are a couple of Canadians crossing the USA and our car started to act strange in the area of Chicago. We were pretty desperate because we had just started our trip. We were lucky enough to stumble upon this garage. The staff, especially Kaleb, is fantastic and super welcoming. A few days later we wrote an email to Kaleb with some questions and he was kind enough to give us fast and complete answers. We truly recommend this place!

Most Honest and trustworthy car service I have ever had in my life. They have best prices and mind blowing service. I had my exhaust problem in flex pipe leakage and I got it repaired at reasonable price right away. Though they had other car repairs going on, I didnt need to get appointment and go through lenthy process. I am a fan of this place and honest people running this business. I had the most pleasant experience ever. Honest people who will do anything in their power to help you with your car. It was very reasonable pricing. I went to three different places. They quote me $800 for the work on my car. When I came to BG, Kosta told its only going to cost me $45. I was amazed at the honesty of the company. I would highly recommend that place to everybody! I cant believe how honest the professionals are in BG AUTO. I came in from the referral and I am amazed how nice and patient and understanding the owner was with me. The other mechanical shop gave me the estimate for $675 dollars. When the mechanic checked my car it was $45 fuse and the problem with my car disappeared. I am the customer of BG forever . Very kind and professional. Got me in immediately and got my car back rather quickly. I only give 3 stars because we talked about a price. I told them the price of a different place that I thought was ridiculous. This other place quoted me $1000. BG Auto said they could get it done for $750 and this was after looking at it. It totally $942. I know other things come up but this wasnt cool. :-/Updating to 5 stars because we talked about it and they fixed the issue on my next service. I wanted to give then the chance because theyre so friendly and did a really good job fixing my car. Im glad our issue was resolved because this is now my go to shop for everything car related :-)

This place is GREAT! We took my sons car here for a bumper replacement. They gave us 2 options to choose from. We thought the bumper needed to be replaced but they said the damage was not terrible and could be repaired without having to replace the whole bumper as long as we were fine with the 2 excising scuffs. Even the estimate for a total replacement was $200.00 less that the other place . You have a repeat customer in us as we have 4 cars. Thank you for being a stand up operation. Went there last Saturday for a car wash. When I got to the location I was a bit intimidated by the new management and faces but as soon as I pulled up to the menu I was greeted by one of the new employs. He was polite and explained everything in detail of what they were gonna do to my car and how much it would cost me. No BS but an honest professional opinion. After they had taken my order i went inside and the service only got better. The environment was cozy and the register was concise and friendly. The waiting time was minimal considering the amount of people there and before long I was gone with a car that looked better than the day I had bought it. I recommend to all!

A+ !!!!! My car was experiencing some major brake issues. I was told during my last oil change that my brake pads were getting really, really thin. I had no idea what that meant so I ignored it. However, during the last few days, my car was horrible, making a the worst screeching sound when I applied the brakes. I started to get scared it was going to cost me a fortune to get repaired. I took it to BG Auto because a friend recommended them to me and also because they are about two minutes from my apartment. They were absolutely incredible during the entire experience. I was immediately treated with friendliness and it calmed in down from my concern about the expense. They completed the car within *two hours*. The car now runs like when I first bought it. I will definitely be returning to BG Auto for my future car issues. They are amazing!
