Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious and high quality. Pastrami on rye, the Reuben, Turkey and cheese on a Poppy seed bagel, Matzo ball soup, halvah, latkes. The people who work there are friendly and give great service. The line is often long but understandably so.

We loved the rainbow bagels for a breakfast sandwich ❤️ the French toast was also to-die-for. Such a great family-run business, the service was amazing and the food even better!

I was pleasantly surprised opening the box. The bagel looks soooo delis with “custom” order with salmon, avocado and veggies. The avocado so fresh and smoked salmon is so yum. Toasted bagel is great.Staff was nice and friendly.

First time visit after years of passing it by when I worked in the area. My sister had a taste for a good deli sandwich and happened to be nearby. I ordered the sandwiches for take out and was very pleased with the orders. I had the the extra lean pastrami with coleslaw as a side. The sandwich was delicious! The flavor was very good and seasoning was just right. I usually dont enjoy deli coleslaw, but theirs was yummy (balance of flavor was spot on, not too sour or too sweet). The portion of the meat was plenty, that half a sandwich was very filling. The other half was saved for another day. My favorite was the seeded rye bread...soft and very fresh. I will definitely go back for another visit.

Decently stocked NY bagel and deli shop. Latke fries were uniquely amazing.I must discount the rating pretty heavily because my pastrami sandwich was inedible. All the meat on it was just tough fat/grizzle as pictured. Seems if it wasn’t trimmed properly during preparation. Had to send all the meat into trash and just picked at the rye bread in the end.Definitely order something else if I return.

An excellent selection of bagels, including 2 of my personal favorites: pumpernickel and egg. In addition, there is a full deli, and a friendly staff. I highly recommend this local shop!

I went here bc my mom loves this place. Decided to get some of the strawberry and chive cream cheese. This has to be the best cream cheese I have ever tasted. Fresh, homemade. Simply Amazing. A little pricey. But my goodness. Incredible flavors. I will def be a regular for this stuff.

Weve been looking for a good Reuben place for a while and we were disappointed from other place. We decided to give Original Bagel & Bialy a try and our search is done. Stopped in for a corned beef sandwich on onion roll lastFriday and was so disappointed. The onion roll was 50% bigger than the meat filling and Ive never had such fatty corned beef ever. Tasted like warm handful of rubber bands. Potato salad was good but thats not why I stopped.

The food was great and fresh! Owner came out and we had a great conversation. Very good authentic jewish comfort food.

(I grew up in Skokie IL.) The staff was patient with my customized dine-in order of an egg-bagel sandwich with less meat, more cheese, and capers. The soup tastes good, though today I chose noodles instead of a giant matza ball as before, but it had a bit too much lemon in it today. The food is about worth the price, say compared to such delis in Evanston IL.

What a great place to get a delicious bite to eat! The place is nice and clean, inviting and comfortable. It was a little chilly inside but its been cold out so I have to attribute it to that. The bagles are nice and soft, toasted or not. The service is great and the food was delicious. They have a lot of great options. Soup comes with challa bread. We look forward to our next visit which we hope will be sooner than later.

I ordered a corned beef sandwich online. There was no prompt to add cheese, or any type of sauce like mustard or thousand island. It showed up plain and dry. The corned beef was salty, probably would have been better with cheese and condiments. I certainly would have added them if I had been given the option. Thanks for the meat on bread I guess?

Too much good here to list it all. Just try something new here every time you go. Get the mish mosh aka Jewish penicillin whenever you’re sick.

Wonderful Rosh Hashanah dinner

First time visiting from New York and I stopped in by word of mouth. Your deli was highly recommended. The two blond ladies talked me into a turkey sandwich which was amazing. It was very busy and I’m glad to see that. The shorter of the two talked me into getting a veggie Rueben for my wife who is vegetarian. Will visit again and recommend to all my friends. I been going here for many years ever weekend I pick up breakfast for my family, went there when they lifted the mask mandate sat there and eat with my family it was great to be back to normal walk in saw the owner he thank me for the big order the following week same pick up food saw the owner no mask he thank me again nice guy, went back to pick up on 22nd no owner there, me and the lady in front of me was ask to wear a mask by employee she left and I ask I have to wear a mask now he say yes I ask if he can provide me with one he say no. I left to chicago bagel and pick up lox from there no mask nice people im going there from now on.

I’m really not one to complain usually. But when it takes over 30 minutes for 3 bagels and 1 order of potato pancakes AND every single person ordering after me gets their food before I do, it’s pretty aggravating!!! No apology, no acknowledgement. Terrible service today. Terrible.

I do not live close to the area but was around today. Got a half dozen bagels and matzah ball soup. Best matzah ball soup I have ever had. So happy to be eating an actual bagel considering bagels sold in my area are imposters. My mother passed away yesterday and the food just helped to warm my soul. Will be back if I’m ever in the area again.

So, make sure you open your take out bag before leaving, because they didnt give me cheddar, they gave me American. And they didnt give me sausage at all. Theres no extra charge for that requested cheese substitution I didnt get, but there is for that requested sausage I didnt get.So I complained and they redid the order. Its great now! It would have been better if it were made to order the first time, but this will do. Definitely returning for my next sandwich, and making sure I check the order before I leave.

I was looking for authentic challah bread and real egg bagels and I found the perfect place. When my best friends family told me to go here, I knew this place was the answer to my prayers.The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were professional and I will definitely be going back. Hopefully next time I will have the time to sit down and order something from their amazing smelling deli.

Beagle with Lox is great. But the cleaning can be improved, like table cleaning after use and the few flies.

Lean corned beef, best ever.

The food (I had pastrami on rye) was quite good. But despite the name this doesnt have the feel of an old fashioned Jewish Deli.While the menu prices are as high as those venerable establishments, the serving sizes are significantly smaller. And whats with no root beer on tap? But the meat is tasty, the bread is good and deli choices are slim these days. OB&B will do too stave off the crave.

I grew up going here for breakfast. Super friendly staff and AMAZING bagels. Highly reccomend.

Been here a good handful of times, never disappoints. I usually order the lox sandwich, but have had pancakes, corned beef, matza balls, roast beef and many items from the bakery glass, all very good! Super friendly and super clean :)

I ordered trays (fish, meat, fruit and cookies)for a post wedding brunch that I hosted.The ordering process was easy, the trays were ready at the arranged pick up time, and the food was excellent. The portions were generous and the presentation on the trays was beautiful. Everything was fresh and delicious. Original Bagel and Bialy made my day easy and the guests were pleased. I even got a call the next day to see if I was satisfied. Very impressed with the entire process and would definitely use again.

9 days later - Im still waiting for Original Bagel to make their offer after selling my what must have been ends and few bagels that I paid for. I sent my email address on 1/2 but no word yet. Dont believe anything they tell you. Promises promises.1/10/2020It was embarrassing serving my guest lox and bagels for New Years. The lox’s was thickly cut and hard at the edges. This shouldn’t have been as I bought the lox’s the New Year’s Eve. I was supposed to get 13 bagels in my order but got only 11. I will not be back.I find it interesting that a rep from Original Bagel emailed me that he would get in touch with me to directly address my poor experience but his follow through is a reflection of poor customer service. I havent heard from you.

This deli is consistently awesome. The sandwiches are humongous and fresh as can be. I had a chopped salad today for the first time, and for 10 bucks its going to feed me three nights. Tons of meat on it. The soups are always great as well.Lon is always super nice and his Turkey Ruben is probably my favorite thing on the menu. Now, I mentioned how big the sandwiches are, now think twice that. Haha. The meat is piled on there and theres no way you can finish one in one setting. Plus there are so many other goodies I never leave here with just what I go in for.Keep it up Lon!

I just discovered this place a few weeks ago and man, have I been missing out! This place has AWESOME, fresh bagels, cream cheeses, cookies, and more. They also do sandwiches and deli style dishes as well like potato and macaroni salad. I just had one of their omelettes a few weeks back and it was crazy good, so was their french toast. Ive been going back a few days a week now. Oh, try their strawberry cream cheese on a toasted egg bagel. 😉

Great place to get an excellent corned beef sandwich. There arent many delis like this anymore. We dont get here very often as we live in NE Wisconsin, but its obvious that there are many local regulars enjoying the food and the atmosphere. Wish we had a place like this up north.

Wish I can give 0 stars!!!! Rude staff... waited forever for someone to assist... no one came.. people getting in line and I noticed someone take a number. So I asked and the employee was super rude!!!! We waited 15 minutes and they called numbers.. so we waited for nothing. So I brought my concern up to the employee and he says read the sign! Wow very professional... I didnt even see a sign... rude service, I can only imagine how poorly they prepare the food!! Dont go here!

The firehouse omelette was ok, nothing special but we took some lox home with us. The lox were very tasty and their bagels were fantastic.

Food is palatable if you like watery chilly and sweetened chopped liver for 27$. Wasn’t sure if the stern-faced person at the counter was trying to take my order or pick a fight with me about it. Can’t say I’d come here again.

Bagels and lox are fine no complaints. The service on the other hand is terrible. Being busy is not an excuse to ignore and not greet a customer when they walk in the store. I stood at the counter for over five minutes (I know this because I had my phone in my hand) with cream cheese and a number in my hands while 3 people walk about and ignore me. I was also the only person at the counter at the time, so there was no confusion on who was next. So I left.... instead of enjoying brunch with my family and coming home with bagels I had a story on why I was so aggrieved on a Sunday morning.Update: I guess if the “deli guys said they acknowledged me, I must be the one lying. If the deli guys had acknowledged me I would have left with food. Stating my ticket number... not sure what it was or what your point of stating the ticket number. This is only another example of the poor customer service. I was flat out ignored by every single employee in your store despite being the only person at the counter and you insist on arguing and insinuating that I am lying about my poor experience. Well guess what your service is terrible your staff ignored me own up to it. Save your money consumers go to Kaufman’s or heck Panera at least says hello when you walk in the door.

A great little deli, with a wide selection of fresh made bagels. I like to stop by every Saturday to buy bagels for the week. Personaly I recommend the Breakfast Sandwich on an egg bagel or a pastrami sandwich with a side of latke fries.

Awesome bagels and everything that goes with it...including the atmosphere, people and banter you can only get in a good deli. Everytime I walk in here I have fond memories of my childhood and the smells and tastes of a deli...The experience is wonderful.
