After 10 weeks, I was nothing short of stunned the moment I saw my dress come to life for the first time. It truly was more than I could’ve hoped for. The detail and quality was absolutely exquisite. I can still barely believe it was my own couture gown brought to life, and tailored perfectly to make me feel like a true princess on my special day. Not only did she make my dreams come true by designing my dream dress, but she also made sure my husband and our entire wedding party was completely dressed, tailored, and accessorized! I took my grandmothers wedding dress into Alesias studio not exactly sure with what I wanted to do with it. I was recently engaged and thought about potentially wearing it for my wedding but knew it needed work. Once Alesia saw the dress her eyes lit up and she had a million ideas of how to work with it. Alesia was fantastic! She was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when my fiancé and I went to her to rent an ivory tux. We had trouble locating something that looked great and was affordable while still being a great quality and would photograph well. She dedicated a lot of time to us while we were in her shop and she answered any and all questions we had for her and was super sweet and personable. Her and I also got to chat a bit about sewing (something Im learning to do) and she was so helpful and gave a lot of useful advice! The rental process itself was incredibly simple: Once my fiancé chose a tux and size he wanted, Alesia ordered it and gave us a pick-up time. He went to pick it up (it arrived early too!), wore it for the wedding, then returned it a couple days later and she was very flexible with the pick up and return dates. We would absolutely recommend her and her rental services again!

Extremely unprofessional service and even worse product. Promised to do a simple hem to 3 slacks. She delivered a day late and the job was terrible and extremely sloppy. The pictures below speak for themselves. When I gave her feedback she made excuses saying my slacks were “too slim” or that she’d never done an alteration with boots. She also complained about the turnaround time even bough she promised she could do it and still delivered late. Her payment machine did not work so we had to PayPal her. To top it all off it’s extremely expensive! Just a complete mess.

I cant say enough good things. She saved me after another tailor almost ruined my wedding. I drove almost an hour from Chicago to get there and would/will go back it was very worth it. I had a last minute urgent request to hem a wedding gown in 2 days and she didnt hesitate!! She took so much care during the process and was a pleasure to work with. The dress came out beautiful and I bought a veil from her too because it was stunning!!!In the photo is the dress after alterations and the veil that I bought there.

I went in to get my wedding dress altered because it was too long and Alesia also pointed out the straps were a bit too long. The dress has a lot of beadwork on the straps, but it came out perfect. You cant even tell they were shortened. I also just had a great experience with Alesia. She was very kind and attentive! Its a drive from where I live but I will definitely be going back.

She helped me look through catalogs and try on different dress styles in order to find something that would look great on me. Alesia also helped me pick out just the right color for my dress. Alesia made my tuxedo for my wedding this past Sunday on October 13th. She was absolutely amazing to work with. She guided me and helped me on my whole tuxedo since we were creating it from scratch. It came out perfect. I drove all the way from Chicago because she was way more affordable and reasonable than the boutiques and shops in the city. Alesia C. Studio did an EXCELLENT job, making my CUSTOM skirt. For less than $100.00, I had Alesia and her team of professionals make me a very, unique skirt that I would not of been able to buy, ANYWHERE, in any store. This studio can make clothes, for you, from scratch! They are SO much more than just alterations. Any, old dry cleaner can hem a dress! Alesia and her team are artists, creating clothing, just for the individual. I spent less money buying my own fabric and having Alesia C. Studio custom make me clothing, of HIGH QUALITY, than I would finding the same, type of clothing, in a department store. Why skimp on quality, going to a discount store, buying clothing from 3rd world, human-rights-violating, sweat shops when you can have hand made clothes, right here in the Northwest suburbs!

Such a great experience! I will always come here for any special occasion needs. Had I known she did custom made dresses I would have had her do one for my step daughters for my wedding. We got one suit for my husband and both of our shirts, she also steamed our daughters dress. I already had a suit I had purchased recently, or I would have rented my suit here also. She spent time and listened to what we wanted and offered options, she was also honest and didnt try to get us to get more than what we needed. Honestly very upset about the whole experience. It was very expensive to have my dress tailored. I brought it in almost 4 weeks before the wedding and my FIRST fitting was 4 days before the wedding. And it was on christmas eve so I had to change family plans. We didnt have a second fitting, she told me to pick it up the day before the wedding! and it still doesnt fit right. The whole top of the dress is too loose and keeps falling. Now I have to worry about it all day. Not worth the money. Very disappointed.

I began to worry because I had a little over a month until the wedding so I needed a place that could fit me in their schedule. I found this place on yelp and the owner was able to see me that same day. I told her the problem and she was able to find a solution in time for the wedding. Alesia is amazing. I ordered a dress for myself from another store for my daughters wedding. The dress came late and needed some major alterations. I took the dress to a local Taylor who came highly recommended. Once the taylor saw all the beading on the mesh in the top of my dress, he refused to work on it. My husband and I were having a destination vow renewal ceremony, and I had a very specific idea about what I wanted my dress to look like. BEST DESIGNER/SEAMSTRESS in Chicagoland❣After ordering/returning 7 ill-fitting, hideous fabric, long black gowns from Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue & Bergdorfs I was in a terrible bind... 11 days before my Sons Wedding without a dress. Shocking coming from these once meticulous, prideful merchants. Size 18 too small. Size 14 swam on me. Size 16 might as well been a 4. Fabric so plastic, heavy & cheap... one was actually called scuba fabric (foam rubber like a childs craft project). Worst part, the merchants have the audacity to charge $500-2000 for such garbage❣How fortunate for me to find Alecia ❣I took my own sketch, a similar photo of what I wanted, and a pic of beautiful, black Ostrich Feathers. Alecia sketched until the rendering was EXACTLY what I dreamed of. Alecia took my measurements, ordered the black velvet & feathers (many designers make you shop for your own fabrics/trimmings/zippers etc.) AND promised it would be done before the wedding. UNHEARD OF❣❣❣ Fast forward... (and often working through the night) THE MOST BEAUTIFUL dress you can imagine delivered JUST before the wedding, AS PROMISED❣ Every guest at the wedding said it was the most elegant dress they had ever seen, some said I Hollywood has NOTHING on me. AND I FELT SOOOO PRETTY in it❣❣❣Perfect fitting, rich fabric, in a lovely hanging bag with a lint roller. I felt like a Queen. And the wedding pictures, I am just thrilled with. Took dress at 12:30 am night before the wedding, Buttons on a coat werent working. At 12:30 She was cleaning black spot from the dress. Extremely rude, Was trying to change the price during the process. Avoid at all cost!

My daughter had her prom dress hemmed her. We had excellent service, the alterations were timely and accurate.

Have taken a few suits to be altered now as I was sick of bad alterations at cleaners and other tailors. She is great at what she does and has a passion for it. She also sells custom suits so I’ll check it out next time.
