Very welcoming atmosphere and plenty of space. The people working there are nice. It’s my go-to place for Pokémon cards and one of the guys working there seems to know a lot about Pokémon cards too. It’s nice to see people who work there are just as enthusiastic about the hobby.

Huge improvement over the last place I played Digimon (Archrivals in Rockford). They have a nice selection of cards, a fun tournament scene, and actually appreciate my business. Will definitely be returning here.

Been here ever since I started going to Buffalo grove high school. Great store, with a fun community. Very wide variety of magic and pokemon cards for those fans. Once again, great place, and its only a five minute drive for me by bike. Although, it is a shame becuase I mostly play yugioh then magic, and I am forced to travel to everything games when in need for something. But if theirs something I need from magic, this is the first place I visit. Keep it up!

Purchased online from NRG. After a small hiccup in communication I was able to talk to the Owner and he was very honest and upfront about everything. Very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend Nerd Rage Gaming to anyone interested. Will buy from again.

Some of the best competition around. Great modern and legacy crowds with the best tournament scene in the Midwest. The championship trials they host are amazing... Very high level and value. Card prices are the best around. Great people working and visiting the shop.

Very solid store with a great group of regular players. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. They have lots of weekly events and also run larger tournaments on the occasionally weekends. I reccomend stopping by for some friendly MTG if you have a night off!

Beware this shop doesnt sell video games, only board and trading card games

Sadly this is my second and final review of nerdrage. I had posted a review before about the store not being open when they said they were claiming they had to close randomly to visit a dr. I can understand this as a small store and having a small staff. more staff was hired and i was contacted so I decided to give them another chance. Ive been to nerdrage twice in the past few months. the first time the store was empty and I was told there was a tournament so all of the stock was there. annoying but I get it. Im currently sitting in the parking lot at 12:13 when Google says it is open and of course its locked. I really love lgs and the people at nerdrage are nice but its a 30 min drive to get there and its a crapshoot if they have inventory or hell if the door is even open. sadly Im done. there are other stores in the northwest suburbs who are great to their patrons and Ill have to stick to them.#sorrynotsorry

Went there today for a tcgplayer silver event/game day, and it was honestly, the best thing I could have hoped for. Im actually from the Northwest Indiana area, but I had decided to play in a slightly bigger event this saturday,To sum up, it was clean, the room was actually brightly lit, all the tables and chairs were fixed, the store owner and staff were so friendly, they had everything i could want stocked (cards, supplies, beverages), the clientele SHOWERED, the prices were phenomenal, and if I didnt live so far away, I would go back there every time I could and make myself a fixture at the store. If youre a gamer and you want to support a business that works like it should, please give your money to these people as they seem like the people that truly earn it with the work put into the store.
