Good place to shop for any new airsoft gun. A nice dude named Tyler helped me out when I was having issues with a new gun, and another guy named Oz (spelling) helped clarify some technical questions. All in all a pretty good experience and they have a wide selection of parts, gear, and guns

I’ve had several transactions with MiR now and I can say this is a good store. Slex Wild who does the videos for the store has great charisma with that 80’s vibe. Not sure if he’s the owner or just a promoter but he definitely doing a good job. My only gripe is that they are a little more expensive than their competitors but they definitely have faster shipping.

Have done a lot of business with Mir tactical over the years, have also attended a handful of their games. They always meet or exceed any expectations I have, their customer service is top notch. They answer all of my questions in a timely manner, have great pricing, ship quick, and are always there to help me out to get the things I need when I need them. I enjoy all the people at Mir and the events they put together. Time with my growing son is precious to me and these events allow us to get together with friends we have made through the sport. Even if we never played again these people would remain friends and we are glad for it.It seems we always end up making more each time and had a nice BBQ for 12 after the Saturday play at Operation Blackjack.The event today was at Sherwood Forest in La Porte Indiana. This is my third event at this venue and its always a good time. The team commanders try to make it fun an interesting by throwing in some goofy objectives that are a fun diversion over just a free-for-all shoot out.Mir always has a mobile retail store set up at the events so if you need just about anything.....they have it there for you at the events.SLEX (Alex) and company are good people and we appreciate the good service, selection in their store, humor, teasing and the many events they hold each year.Mike and Ian,Bolingbrook IL

I brought my M4 HPA gun here for some tuning after upgrading the hop up, bucking and TBB, They advised me the reason I wasnt getting a good feed was due to the hop up and mag combo, and exchanged it for me, tuned it and made it flawless. Second visit into MIR and it was one of the most inconvenient experiences ever. At least they tried to be nice about it so I appreciate that. I came in to buy a spring for my equipment (as recommended by techs and refs at the new field I go to) as it was running slightly higher power than it should. I waited in line in the back for 1 hour (not exaggerating, I had employees come up to me apologizing for that long of a wait) trying to get my stuff sorted out. What was originally just trying to buy a spring and leave turned into we dont have that spring, were not sure the techs can turn down the power, we called a tech and they said theyre confident they can fix this, and youll need to leave it here so they can take a look at it and know what parts to buy and theyll fix it. No, I just wanted the parts and do it myself but it seems I have to leave it there just to get the spring. I told them to call me when they know the parts cost and left my equipment with the deposit. So for one hour I spent it waiting in line, being told back and forth they can fix it or not fix it, and now being told it needs to be serviced just for a spring. I find it ridiculous waiting that long and then having to wait again to figure out if placing a spring in a fully stock aw customs will be a potential 3 week job. I get this is their specialty and probably will say I will need more work done to it than just a spring. However, making me take up an hour of my day in line and still not getting my problem fixed that visit and calling other techs and the field itself telling me its just a spring makes me question their credibility. Im not sure why I even was willing to wait that long in line anyways. The airsoft community is already bad I dont need the shops to be a pain too.

MiR tactical lied to me lol, wow. They blamed my package being so late, on the delivery service. When in fact I called the delivery service before speaking to MiR tactical, and they said, we absolutely do not have your package yet! They understood there was a label created but that was it! After 7 days MiR tactical finally sent the package out; to which point, the post office called me to tell me the package was now in transit. Such bs. Cant even take responsibility. Bad service, dont answers on problematic questions. I ordered item and waited for my item more than 2 weeks. As always Fedex had problems. After it I canceled order, used return service and now (after several days) waiting for refund my money. Wrote several times about refund to company, but company dont want to answer when my money will be refund. Bad service. Evike, Ampedairsoft, Redwolfairsoft works better and faster.

Great sales and service team. Took my my aeg gun in to get upgraded with new barrel, hop unit, and gate titan. Their tech Jon did a fantastic job and Im very pleased with the performance. Played with the gun 2 weeks and was having overheating problems. Took it back in they replaced the titan under warranty. Even recommended wh as t batteries and mags to use with the gate titan. Turn around time was less than 10 days for the mod work and less than 5 days for the warranty work. Very pleased with the staff and service, highly recommend Jon for tech work.

First off I buy stuff from evike airsoftgi and fox. Started off buying some co2 sent lubes instead contacted them they sent me some co2 no questions asked bought the echo1 wolfsbane. $20 less than the other guys.and the rando mystery box. Only one of the staff can be useful, the rest if you know anything about airsoft are clearly either trying to rip people off, or not knowledgeable. Their service center has overcharged before, and the events they run are usually poorly run, once illegally making use of an abandoned mall. Even still they offer a convenient spot and the only one in the area to drop in and get necessities quickly and I have never had issues with that.Update: they called me to argue with my about my review. I now dont even recommend using them for the convenience of being nearby.

Absolutely love the store and the crew there! Ive bought two Guns from them and had two repairs done as well, one gun was from another place Ive had for years but guns work flawlessly. Even after we tried to change out the spring on the AK74U and put a gear in backwards, they didnt laugh at us after they fixed our blunder Hahahahaha and we back in business in under an hour. We are noobs to it but learned a lot from that and the techs telling us our mistake, is priceless to us thank you guys. Oh and they do try and save me money as well, the case of green gas i recently purchased. I cant find it cheaper anywhere and I look so much Love MIR!!! Have a sale next week Monday its Christmas week we coming in I got cash, lol but I need at least 10 percent off!!!

So i went there about 2 months ago to buy a battery charger for lipos, and keep in mind im still a noob to airsoft... so, i wandered around the store for no more than 15 seconds before one of their staff came up to me and asked me if i needed help, so i told him what i needed, and he showed me where they were, and they had two main models of battery chargers that could charge lipos, they had a really complicated and expensive high end charger with all sorts of different charging modes and such, then they had a basic one meant for lipos. i asked which one would be best for my battery (and i showed him my battery) and he suggested that i get the cheaper one if i was only running lipos with it. so i bought the cheaper one, and i’ve had basically no problems with it at all, although it does heat up a little bit, it never heats up to the point where it’s actually bad for the charger or battery, so i’d say that there’s been no probs. i’ve only shopped there once, but from what i’ve seen and heard, they’re a really good store with great staff, and definitely my best option for where i live. so over all, i’d shop wit them again and i’d recommend it to any airsoft person who doesn’t like shopping for their airsoft needs on evike or other similar online stores. i’m very satisfied with my experience with their staff, and i recommend it 100%.

Went to one of the events they hosted. Pandora box they did not tournament lock my hpa regulator I had to be ask for them to do it... plus my buddy ran the entire event not tournament locked, complete disregard for safety when it comes to hpa... staff at the event was nice and welcoming.

Good and friendly customer service, but tech work is overpriced and was outrageous and not very clear, I brought in 2 guns for a very simple hop up bucking replacement and nothing else was told at first no more than 40 bucks, then when called it was ready and was told 50 bucks total for both guns and thought it wasnt that a big deal. I walked in and was told that it would 50 bucks each gun. I ended paying 100 bucks for having just 2 guns bucking replaced and nothing else. I felt overcharged for something that doesnt take no more then at most 10 mins to do.(Update 07/17/20)Was contacted by Mir and was refunded one of the labor fee charge. Like I mention before good and friendly customer and was offer 2 free spare buckings for my next visit, I appreciate the follow-up that mir did.

Staff is friendly and helpful once they get to you. I had ordered a vest from them and they said about 2-3 weeks which is long and when I went in about a week and a half later they said they didnt know maybe 3-5 more weeks so I cancel that order and placed another else were getting that vest in 3 days for the same price. But like I said they are helpful and know about the products. Made a great mask recommendation for me with my glasses.

I dont just go to MiR Tactical because its the closest airsoft supply store, I go because the service is FANTASTIC! The staff is 100% knowledgeable about the products they sell and carry and the hospitality is there. I trust their Tech Team with my nicest airsoft builds. Overall, havent had a bad experience yet!

I ordered an grenade to be sent to my friend and I made the mistake of putting the shipping info incorrect. MIR was exceptional. The customer service was above expectations. It all worked out in the end but through it all MiR maintained a level of customer service that is endearing enough to make them my #1 choice for all my airsoft needs. I am very very pleased.

I bought two LiPO batteries from them and they were already swollen. I live in Oklahoma so I cant just go back to the store, I was up there in Chicago for a funeral over the weekend. With everything going wrong on Sunday, I didnt have a chance to get a refund on my purchase because everyone vanished in between games and after the final game.Plus when it comes to their games they host at Paintball Explosion in Dundee, they claim they follow field rules but the lady that owns the field told me that she lets them make their own rules. This tells me that either someone is too lazy to incorporate American MilSim rules (the standard of Airsoft nationwide) and would rather send someone on a run around mission than do the work of the business......or someone doesnt know how to ask for business assistance. Either way, its unprofessional af and these admins need to go to American MilSim events to learn the real way to play. Ive played in a handful of states - Illinois is the only state where I had these issues like grenade radius and type or spawn camping actually being ALLOWED. 🤷‍♂️

I made a purchase back in April. Still haven’t received the item. I have been calling for months and cannot get an answer on when I will receive the item that supposedly shipped to the store per email confirmation. As of last weekend I called and received no call back. A few other people called as well because they didn’t receive their items, which were ordered at the same time. No Calls Back!! I called this Wednesday and the gentleman I spoke with promised I would get a call back by close of business. Did not happen. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Way to treat several veterans who tried to support your failing business. Filing fraudulent credit card charges today! I will also be calling the better business bureau.Update: Just called and was told I would get a call back again. Now we wait....

I love this place, my wallet hates it! I stopped in because I got back into Airsoft after nearly a decade of absence and was REALLY impressed with the salesperson knowledge of the old school companies. If you are looking to purchase anything for your airsoft needs or looking for a place to play MiR has it all for you.MiR hosts games most Sundays at local paintball / Airsoft Fields through out the season in the area and 4 to 5 major games sprinkled in here and there starting in February and ending in October. In the OFF SEASON they host games on Sundays at Fear City Haunted House (indoors, close quarters, with some of the scare props functioning).As to the store they have everything you may need. Tech shop for repairs and upgrades, Guns, accessories, tactical gear, and safety gear (cant stress face protection enough). Firing range with competitive games on going, and service that makes those online stores seem even more faceless and impersonal. They have a traveling store they take to local games (even those they dont host) and at fear city.Their service goes above and beyond. The last game I was at I stupidly decided I was not going to wear my paintball mask any longer and just had a pair of goggles. Suffice to say I had a tooth shot out. The chip wasnt anything too serious and I wasnt about to let tan get away with hitting me in the mouth. Alex dug through their crates (they had closed up for the day and were about ready to leave) and found me a mesh mask... $25 mesh mask was a much better purchase than the $125 dentist bill.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came in and asked to do some mods to my gun to add range, I trusted that they could properly modify the gun I bought from them with the parts I bought from them that they recommended, I bring it home and it is completely broken. I live an hour away and they told me if I tried to fix it myself before driving all the way back out they will not fix it for free. Im absolutely sick and will never give these fools my money again. Hobby Town USA has much better customer service, smarter servicemen, and a better selection of product. Hobbytown costs a little more for service but it is 100% worth the extra money. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE.UPDATE: Thanks to YouTube and Google I fixed it myself easily, wish Mir wouldve gave me a few troubleshooting options instead of suggesting wasting a full tank of gas for the second day in a row. I chose to drive 50 miles to mir instead of going to the Hobby Town 15 minutes away because Mir was consistent but from todays experience, the customers convenience does not matter.

Bought my son a MOD. VR16 airsoft gun and an extra magazine clip for his Christmas gift. Great service on the sales side. The second clip did not fit the gun. Tried to return the clip and they said it was in the wrong packing. I told them it was in the same packing that they sold me. The worker said it could have been their fault, but he would need to talk to the owner. Talked to the owner and he said he couldnt do anything because I could have switched it out. I explained this the owner it was my sons first airsoft gun, I didnt have any other clips and I spent over $800 in his store that day. Owner would not do anything so he lost a customer over a $19 error that they would not admit to.
