Today was our second visit for some exotic woods for turning on the lathe (pens and bowls). The prices were better than Ive seen around town. Customer service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful to our needs. The live edge pieces they had for sale were beautiful. There were all kinds of sizes and varieties of wood available.

I made an order for wood, and the company that was going to do the delivery called me, to confirm the delivery the day before. The delivery was never made on the day scheduled. When I contacted the XPO company, they told me that the truck that was bringing my delivery had an accident and it had glue spilled on my wood. The next day, they delivered the wood, full of glue. I contacted Advantage Trim and Lumber, they immediately sent in a replacement for the damaged wood. Fast and very professional excellent customer service. I definitely will make business with them again. Also the wood is excellent quality. I Highly recommended this Company. 5 Star CompanyThe last picture is the best........Im done

I am only giving one star because it does not give an option for 0 stars. I had ordered about $6000-$7000 in various thickness of wenge. When the product was delivered the first thing I noticed was a huge color difference in the wenge. In the rough 1/2 the order was brown and half was black. I wanted all black material. So when I asked Jon the owner to replace the brown material he told me no and that they wouldnt replace anything or send me pictures of the other wenge they had in stock. The owner wouldnt return my calls so I had to call his corporate office and have him pulled out of meetings to deal with me. He also told me that my order didnt matter and that I was a pain to deal with. I ended up driving the product back to their warehouse where jon told me someone would help me, but no one helped me and other customers were asking me for help. When I asked for a receipt they would not give me one. Luckily I got my money refunded. Terrible customer service experience. Anyone who wants better customer service and product should look up Parkerville wood products in CT. Their product is superior and so is their customer service.

My experience with Advantage Trim & Lumber started out a little rocky. Communication back and fourth was slow and due to a strong fraud protection filter I was unable to place an online order. I had tried to place an order via phone which wasnt as easy as I had hoped. I threw my hands up and had started pricing materials with a different company. That was until Jon Fletcher whos been with the company for many years reached out to me to make the situation right. He got me the quote within minutes after speaking on the phone, had the order milled and on the truck the next day. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and that he was providing the best possible customer service to me even with such a small order of only 80 board feet. As someone who works in the marine industry and have constant need for teak or other exotic hardwoods, Ill be a returning customer for many years thanks to Jon.

It is difficult getting through to the right people, maybe its because of the current pandemic. But once I did finally get through, I spoke to Jon who was very willing to get my issue resolved. Took some time but it got done. Their products and pricing are excellent.

What an AWESOME place! The salesmen are very knowledgeable from knowing what wood would work best for your project to what the perfect stain and top coat to use is. Very friendly and personable. One tip... Buy what you want while youre there because it most likely wont be there when you go back.

The staff was friendly and helpful with finding the wood I needed. I usually buy rough cut lumber from them and is the price is pretty reasonable. I would recommend Advantage to any woodworker.

A very cool exotic lumber store where you can get live edge slabs, blanks for turning, etc. All kinds of different types of wood at decent prices. You can even pay to have wood planed on their 40 inch planer. I would highly recommend this store if you are into woodworking.

Deck tiles were the perfect solution to cover our cracked concrete patio. Local pick up was quick and easy and install was simple enough for my husband and I to accomplish in one afternoon. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped in to look at samples of the ipe porch flooring and railing. Sales staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the differences between the woods with respect to upstate winters on a porch floor. Wandering through the wood slabs and rough sawn lumber was a lot of fun. If your looking for hardwood lumber, stop here.

I had two 24 inch wide walnut slabs surfaced at Advantage lumber. When I picked them up they were perfect. Dead flat both sides. I will be returning again. If you need hardwoods or any type of slab you can think of.Advantage lumber is the place to go.

Brought 4 raw walnut slabs and one ash glue up to be planed and sanded.Done in three days.came out flat smooth almost ready for finish.Saved me hours of work.The people at Advantage are top notch.Haveing a woodworking business i would not go anywhere else!!

The 1-3 days for shipping is now 13 days and counting, while my project is at a standstill...The fact that I paid 20% of the cost of the lumber is hurting pretty bad right now - it would have been faster and cheaper for me to drive to Buffalo. Better to use a local lumberyard and have them match the price.

Went in on a Saturday for a board or 2. Took an hour of waiting in the showroom. If I ever buy from here again it would be online, Ill probably not visit the site again. Thanks to the receptionist for being nice at least.
