I am trying to do better with writing reviews for establishments other than food places. I have come to realize that businesses thrive on reviews good or bad and I feel the need to acknowledge those businesses that do well and those that arent doing so well in order to help them achieve the standard or experience needed by customers in order for the business to continue to be successful.With that being said, I walked into this Publix and the first thing I noticed was the employee wiping off grocery carts and greeting all that walked in. I also noticed the brightness of the store...something about lights being bright adds a welcoming effect.When I first walked in, I passed the deli and sandwich area and the employee making sandwiches spoke to me while she was making a sandwich for another customer. This is a welcoming gesture from the employees throughout the store. No matter where I was in the store, an employee stopped to say hello and offer any assistance.While looking for something, a manager (I only assume due to his attire) stopped by and asked me how I was doing and if he could help me with what I was looking for and he walked me all the way to the item on a completely different aisle. When I told him thank you, he said no problem and that he was happy to help and grateful to be here.Boy if that doesnt change your mood I dont know what will. I left the store uplifted and feeling positive. Kudos to this team and I certainly will be back for all of my shopping needs.Oh stop by the bakery and get a slice of their RED VELVET CAKE... you wont be disappointed.When you stop by, tellem Drew sent ya!Yall be easy!Drew ✌🏾

Very clean store. They dont have much if there own private label stuff and the prices were a bit higher then other places I shop. Staff was good .

This is a new store but they are being competitive with all in the area NOW.Prices and quality have improved but people are still saying they cant find work when all of the Big store chains & most restaurants have NOW HIRING SIGNS. It may not be what you had but it is a job you can get until the one you want is available.As for Publix on Hamilton Mill, it has improved, even with a smaller staff but they are trying!!!

A very big shout out and huge thank you to the Catering Team for coming through in pinch! My daughter’s fairytale New Orleans wedding was suddenly interrupted by Hurricane Ida. Need I say more? Yes! I live in Cary, NC. My daughter lives in Buford, Ga. When we realized on Monday 8/30/21 that everything we had planned for the past year would be postponed due to the damage done in New Orleans we knew we had to do something to make this wedding a special day despite the setback. The wedding date was 9/3/21. I called 2 other bakeries and of course they needed more time to provide a wedding cake. Running out of time and choices, I called Publix and spoke with Skippi. She was absolutely wonderful. She understood our dilemma and assured me they would make it happen. Tess and Joan who were also involved were equally, wonderful! They managed to do a wedding cake in 3 days. The cake was not only beautiful but delicious!!!! And they delivered it!! I would have never thought a Grocery Store Bakery could do as good or better than a Cakery Bakery establishment. You know what I mean. Anyway, thank you so very much for making my daughter’s wedding day complete. We are grateful and appreciate your wonderful service!

This location is the best around. Publix is always great but the management here is doing something right. All of the staff are friendly and always happy to answer questions.

I have been shopping at Publix stores for over 25 years & have had great experiences. This review is specific to the bakery at this store. We’ve ordered numerous birthday cakes. Some great, but over past several months its been a battle. I’m speechless over the one I just ordered. They took a pre-made chocolate cake w/buttercream that they sell on the shelf, and just added some of the decorations I requested and called it good. That was my special order. The cakes have been inconsistent & when I called on a prior one to complain, I was told I was just trying to get free cakes, even though I said I would pay if it was a legitimate issue. If I’m ordering for a family member or friend I don’t care if I am paying, I WANT IT RIGHT. I’m not even going to bother calling on this one, since I’m pretty angry. Time to find another bakery.

Trisha and Jessica are super sweet associates, I also want to recognize everyone here, the customers are nice (nothing the store can control but still) the employees here have smiles, yes it’s just a grocery store, but the BEST experience every single time I go here. PLEASE SHOP YOUR GROCERIES HERE. These people make it their duty to put a smile on your face, they are kind and sweet. The store is always clean and nice and nicely stocked as well. Worth every penny and every trip

I shop at this Publix very often. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the food purchased always tastes fairly good. In terms of service and staff, its 5 stars.Although, while I was purchasing a sandwich, the worker was barely paying any attention to me and was so focused on talking to her coworker that I was constantly repeating myself and had to stop her from making mistakes for my order. When I got home to eat my sandwich, I realized she put in the wrong meat.Please dont disregard your customers orders and make your conversations with coworkers a priority over taking someones order.

This place is so wonderful! The store is immaculate and the staff is so kind and professional. Pharmacy is great. Bakery is awesome too. They made an awesome polar bear cake for us, so talented!!!!!! This store was much needed for this community. We’re so happy and thankful to have it.

This is my favorite publix by far!!!! It has everything sushi, subs, hot food and all their other delicious departments. This is by my house and I go regularly and the employees are always friendly and helpful

Nicest and cleanest Publix I have ever visited and that is saying alot. I felt bad walking in there after work before having a shower.

Publix have always been far superior than other grocery stores for the simple fact that their customer service is unparallel.My visit today was no exception. At least 3 employees greeted me warmly and offered to help in any way, even though their very own hands were full with stocking. One young man gladly took the time to lead me to the aisle I needed to find my requested product.Check out was fast and I was treated with respect at all times. The wait time to check out was under 2 minutes, despite the store being seemingly busy. And I was able to get a digital receipt, so theyre environmentally conscious as well.

This store is set up different than our store here in Florida. Our store is a older Publix. I like the layout at this one in Holland. The employees state this store is about two years old

I have shopped at Publix for 20 plus years and always found them to be a pleasant shopping experience however, the Publix at Holland point seems to have taken it a step further. I give high kudos to the Managers and the entire team for their Customer centered approach. After moving recently to this area I have not had one visit to this store that every staff I pass says hello to me and/ or asks me if they can help me find something ( and seems to be really interested in helping me). They all stop whatever they are doing and lead me to the item that I am looking for. This experience is across every Dept. I have also switched to their Pharmacy for the same reason. I cannot recommend this store highly enough.

Moved to the area recently and googled nearest supermarket and found this gem of a market. This Publix is new and very clean and has all the essential items and needed goods of a well run grocery store. I can find all my food needs here and they have very kind people who work here that are helpful and serve with a smile. They have self serve kiosks which make it very convenient for shoppers on the go and the parking is plentiful and prices are right.Love this Publix store and will be back for years to come!5 google Stars!

I love this store!!!! Its close to my home and where I work. At work I manage 100+ employee and this publix always goes above and beyond. I use them for as many things as I can... and ifnit doesnt seem like something you think they do just ask youd be surprised. And for my personal shopping they always have everything in stock and people to help you unlike their competitors down the road! Beautiful, clean store and always helpful associates!

Just a weird place, I had this one gentlemen follow me out of the store, I went back into the store, he stood by the atm waiting for me and when I came back out he followed me trying to his the fact that he was taking pictures of me. Just a horrible experience.

I guess this Publix is going downhill as well. I know due to the worker shortage there might not be that much to work with, but Mobile Order Pickup is that for a reason. If I order a sandwich, arrive on time to pick it up, and then have to wait an extra 15 minutes for it to get ready there is clearly something wrong. And after opening the sandwich, of course there are missing condiments. Management do something.

I love this Publix. The amazing deli sandwiches, fresh sushi and delicious bakery are my favorites. The service that Publix gives cant be matched any other.

This is a VERY nice Publix!! This store is super clean but that is not the best part...EVERY employee greeted me as I walked throughout the store!! The funniest moment of my visit took place in the bakery section as I was looking at the cakes. I heard this females voice saying good evening Sir and the 1st time she said it I didnt pay her any attention but the 2nd time she greeted me she said it with a little more authority and I looked around and I said...my apologies, I was in my own world with these cakes over here!!🤣😆😆All in all this was a very pleasant visit and I do plan to return to this store as often as I need to come to Publix!!

I stop in here when I need a few small items as its close and convenient, I believe the price is a little higher but the store is always super clean, well kept and stocked with a good selection. The staff are always super friendly and the items I do buy are always fresh, I actually enjoy going here due to the environment! If it were up to me on a full grocery shopping day I would probably go here but I leave it up to the wife and she has other preferences.

I typically frequent this Publix as it’s on the way home from work. This evening after work, I stop at this Publix and the weirdest thing happened in the parking lot. I am pregnant and I take my groceries out my shopping cart as normal and place it in my trunk, I carefully placed the shopping cart away from anyone’s car and to the side and get in my car and start it. This man abruptly comes and take the cart and I hear him waving his hands angrily so I roll my window down and say “excuse me”. He surprisingly yells “does it hurt to bring the cart back where it belongs ni%#er”. I was so shocked and appalled. I just told him to have a nice day. I sat there in my car in astonishment. I hope he doesn’t work there. He didn’t have a Publix uniform on. But I watched him bring the cart back inside of Publix and I see him talking to a Publix employee (one of the kids up front sanitizing the carts) and they were laughing together. So I’m going to assume they know each other and are buddies. Needless to say, I know Publix has no control of the public and what goes on in the parking lot, but I just find it very weird. Makes me not want to come back to this location. As I’ve never ever experienced something like this in my entire life. Just wanted to share this experience. Pregnant women of color, be safe. Apparently there are weirdos out there that have no respect for women in general and go out their way to make sure the shopping carts in Publix parking lots are placed back where they belong. Smh. Sad.

Publix always has the best breads made in store

Publix is the premium chain grocery store and this one is one of their new flagships. Everything is new. Shopping carts effortlessly roll on the shiny floors like a roller skate on glass. The deli is expanded. Selection of brands is amazing. Prices are a little higher but if you use the BOGO and do it with the $50 card for $40 you can balance that out.

Great costumer service, super clean and organized, I stop by to get some shrimps and they have a new aprons meal kit it comes in a paper bag with everything you need to prep your dinner, I get the Pork with mushrooms and brief sauce super easy and fresh, of you are in a hurry they have different options to choose. I love Publix but the layout of this store is strange and doesnt flow. The bakery is at the very end in a corner. And its small with very little variety.
