Ric is a true professional!My wife picked up a neat looking mid century school desk for my son; since he will be at home doing school for the next few months with Covid-19 suspending in-person classes. The desk is a unique design and was the right price, but did need a piece of wood to be complete.The missing piece left me scrambling to find someone who was capable and willing to repair it quickly. Searched online and came across Ric at Burbank Furniture Restoration. He took the job assignment and did not overcharge, even with knowing I was in a bind.Throughout the process communication was great. The quote and process was full of transparency and I didnt get any surprises when I got the desk back today... in time for my boy to use tomorrow when his school year starts back up.The craftsmanship and care put into this desk surpassed my expectations. I feel great knowing such talented and empathetic humans are all around us during these times. It is also pretty epic having such an amazing resource nearby.

Very professional, great workmanship, easy to work with, extremely responsive to emails. Ric did a terrific job repairing the legs of a mid-century walnut dining table. I had neglected the base of the table, the wood dried out, and the pieces were separating. Ric repaired it all from the bottom so that none of the fixes show and he oiled the whole thing before returning it to me. Initially he gave me an estimate of 12 days for the work but he had it done in a week. Im thrilled with the result and will definitely bring other pieces to Ric when theyre in need of repair or refurbishing.
