If I could give 10 stars to the crew at Mountain View Tire in Burbank, I would. I found this place a few years ago after receiving a $1200 estimate at Pep Boys in Studio City. After reading reviews I decided to get a second opinion here. Jeff and Efren, who manage and provide front desk service, were kind, honest, and thoroughly explained my cars needs without sounding patronizing. In fact they are some of the nicest people I’ve worked with. In the end I didn’t need all the services Pep Boys was estimating and my bill was well under $500. I’ve been coming to MT ever since for additional needs (oil changes, filter changes, tire changes, etc) and my car and I have only been treated with kindness and respect. The prices are fair and they send coupons and service reminders in the mail. I usually wait during my service and observe their conversations with other customers (I’m actually here right now and felt compelled to write this). They are good people and make you (and your vehicle) feel valued. I highly recommend Mountain View Tire on Magnolia in Burbank. Thank you MT for demonstrating excellent service!

Went in for a set of tires and a great experience working with Efrain. He was patient and helpful in explaining my options and giving me time to think things through without feeling pressured. Install took a few hours because they were shorter staffed on a Sunday, but I appreciated the Sunday appointment slot and the shop is right there along Magnolia Park, so there are plenty of things to walk around and see while you wait.

The workers here were great. I got prompt and speedy service with a smile. Thanks guys.

My experience at Mountain View Tire was awesome. The staff was very kind and helpful. I even learned some new things about tires.

The “mechanic” was supposed to fix my oil leaks and he didn’t resolve the issue. He also installed my pcv valve incorrectly. I went else where and they fixed my issues correctly. When I told the girl who works at the front desk what happened, she got overly emotional and defended the mechanics below sub par work. She talks over you and doesn’t let you get a word in . Unprofessional place. Will not come back

I don’t know who changed my two tires and put new ones. But they have reasonable prices and great employees that provide great service and they are very friendly. They make you feel at home always.I am very happy with their service . I have been going there for years.

I went in to shop for tires for my truck. The young lady that helped me was very knowledgeable. I didnt install them yet but plan to come back on Friday.

I have a very old car, with low milage that I plan on keeping for a long time. Mountain View makes that possible. They fixed my broken A/C, & power steering reservoir & hoses this weekend. They did an excellent job!! It now drives like new again. They provide friendly service with staff that trust.

Dropped by to get my tires filled this morning— Ive been stressing and thinking that they were low, and even though the tires were apparently totally fine, Carlos was super kind and helpful while checking them out! Ive been to a few Mountain Views/Goodyears in the area over the past few years and this one is my favorite of the bunch.

Then a legit global pandemic came into the mix and my opportunity to get to know places hit rock bottom. Then I get TWO FLATS from the SAME ALLEYWAY (looking at you, Clybourn and Magnolia alley) in the same month as the lockdown and had to get my car to a shop. This was the closest to my apartment and now is also closest to my heart! Best place to go for anything auto or tire related - doesnt matter if you want good prices, good service or good employees they have all three. Shoutout to Yuliana and Carlos, especially! Take care of your cars, everyone!

Always friendly, always helpful. If you request something done and car doesnt need it yet, they tell u and let u decide now or later. I trust them completely!! They do good, reliable work!

We had just driven in from Saskatchewan Canada and one of our tires was low. We stopped at 2 places before them and neither would help us till the next day. Went here and they took us in immediately putting us before their next customer. Told us to come back in 30 minutes and when we did they said it was a small hole, repaired it and didnt even charge us. The staff are super friendly would definitely recommend them.

I had great quality service with Efferin. He was on top of things and assisted me from the very beginning. Job was finished in a reasonable wait time. They have a comfortable lobby to wait with tv and comfortable chairs. Price quote was within a dollar amount. 👍.

Place is clean and customer service is good. Ramon, or Ray as he’s called in the shop, is an extremely knowledgeable mechanic. I feel comfortable knowing my car is being fixed by him whenever I take it in. Can’t praise him enough.

The service was friendly and very quick, however they charge $25 to patch a tire... Americas Tires (they patch for free) is closed on Sunday and I know I should be grateful that I got it done, but dang.

We have going to Mountain View Tires for years - initially going to the North Hollywood location and now going to the Burbank location. The consistently excellent customer service just keeps us coming back. Efren and Juliana and the rest of the team always take such good care of our cars. They are also honest and willing to work with us on prioritizing fixes and maintenance so we can keep our cars running well and stay within budget.

Wanted to have the A C looked at, they wanted $50+ just to look at it.

Called and spoke with Nicole. She was super knowledgable, friendly, and fast. She found the exact tire I need, gave me reasonable pricing, and is having the tires delivered from another location to ensure I get them installed today. Very impressed by the customer service here.

Friendly and honest service, which is a rarity in my experience at auto repair places. They have a great selection of tires and the guys seem to know what theyre doing with regard to doing repairs on cars of all vintages.

I cannot in my good mind recommend this place for major type work, but can recommend for oil changes, tires (Check around though as unless deal pricey) and brake jobs. Recently I went there for a radiator flush my air conditioning was fine but after they worked on it I dont longer had air conditioning. They claim it was broken, but it took them 2 days to say this as they do not check out AC when doing a flush. This makes me wonder why they do not double check and just rush on getting some jobs done. But they had the time to tell me about my hoses and charge me $65 PER HOSE to install plus parts. Not happy. I will be writing the Corporation about them.It is disappointing because I have been going there since 2013.

Brought car in for tire repair they called to tell me I needed new rear struts price quote $650. I hung up and called another place which quoted $359 when I picked up my car and told them about this they said theyd work with me to get a better price. As an 8 year loyal customer thats what they should have done to start with.

Company policy here is to lie through your teeth and be passive aggressive. Transparency is gold in life. This place is black as soot. Dont take a Nissan here cause they put on pads that make noise then tell you its normal. Took it to Pep Boys and they confirmed its the quality of pads. Mountain View lied to me and said they put on OEM pads which they were not. I had a similar experience at the Mountain View in Duarte so theres definitely a pattern with these shops. Both were rude, disrespectful just in their owl little ways.

Understaffed on a Sunday. When asked for an estimated time for a simple oil change and tire inspection, they quoted me 1.5 hours...2.5 hours later, I was still waiting. Despite being polite upfront about my time constraints, I was not taken care of. Won’t come here again.

One word-Efrain. He is the assistant manager. In the last 20 years he had been relocated several times and I have followed. Honesty and a real sense of trying to help is hard to find. In ways too numerous to recall he has assited me with patience and candor. My last 8 cars he had dutyfully given me insight and made me feel safe not only driving my old heaps but safe in trusting a mechanic shop. Not an easy thing to do. Horror stories abound. Not with Efrain. Ask for him and see. Dont take my word for it.

I had my 1993 Honda Accord serviced at this shop in July of 2015, head gasket, timing belt, water pump, new radiator, temp sensor, rear main seal, crankshaft seals... The whole 9 yards. The quote was between $1,200 to $2,000... Theycharged my credit card for $2,000 before finishing the work. I was told two days to finish the work and it took four.After leaving this shop I drive my car home, very gently. The entire drive I could hear a whining noise so I took it into a local Goodyear where they determined that the timing belt had been extremely over tensioned, and had to be warrantied immediately (resulting in more down time for my vehicle) they also found that the lower timing belt cover was destroyed and needed to be replaced too. Oh and my temp sensor had to be replaced AGAIN.After driving the car for about 10 months I had yet another issue: the bottom of my radiator was leaking. Warranty AGAIN, at which point they found that my radiator wasnt all that new to begin with. My local Goodyear once again performed the work, this time with a NEW radiator.Now, just a month later, my head gasket is failing and on its way out...So almost every single service provided by this shop had failed in under a year. This franchise had lost my future business for the entire Goodyear name. Rick the shop manager will tell you whatever he thinks he needs to, then perform subpar work. He even tried to get out of paying for the first warranty and I had to call him MYSELF to get him to pay his own internal warranty company.

VERY POOR NOT AT ALL FAIR.This place is a RIP OFF!! DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS. It was once a reasonable place to go but ever since new management took over it seems their focus is ripping their customers off. I took my vehicle in for a repair and the estimate they gave me was out the roof. after taking else were their parts were over 60% higher than what the other guys charged me. Apart from overcharging they are unprofessional, rude and DIRTY. They have no respect for your property. I had to detail my inside of my car from all the grease they left on them. DO NOT TAKE YOU VEHICLE HERE. It sucks that this word is full of people that are greedy and that think that they can just take your hard earned money so easy. TRY WORKING HARD FOR YOUR MONEY MOUNTAIN VIEW TIRES, MAYBE THAT WAY YOU THINK TWICE BEFORE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!

Quick service but the guy tried the traditional BS. You really need the Synthetic. he claims. I said, No thanks, and he said, Alright, let me just make a note in here that says you refused the synthetic. I said, Why is that? He replied in case your engine gets ruined.So I told him Id check my users manual to see if I actually needed this synthetic. Low and behold! No synthetic required!I hate getting my car worked on for this very type of thing. Finding a non-sleezeball mechanic is like finding a pot of gold.
