The workers never pay attention or offer any help. Lazy, self entitled is the vibe there...products are okay quality wise and price wise. Looking for a pleasant experience, I suggest you try somewhere else with friendlier workers but if just need to pop in and out like I did earlier, then its bearable.
Burbank pavilions, I would rate above Whole foods.....Plenty of variety with quality products..... staffs are friendly too...Fresh vegetables, frozen foods, Dairy products, Bakery, Wine collections etc etc is too good....Bakery and fast food counter is having plenty of varieties....Inside the store they have star bucks and us bank....Plenty of parking place outside...
Go here if you want to spend just a little bit more than Ralphs and only slightly more than Food 4 Less. Restrooms are usually not as nice as you would hope, but at least theyre not as uptight as the staff at Vons. Theyre all the same distribution company. Be Safeway...
Everything you could want here. The prices are good. Sales are very good. Their produce section is extraordinary. Try the roast turkey breast and a side dish/ salad from the deli with one of their many fine wines. Dinner couldnt be easier. A visit to the bakery section is a delight.Store is very clean. Plenty of parking and such a nice, helpful staff.
The sandwich shop inside the store is a convenient alternative to fast food. Their sandwiches are great quality and the bread is way better than those sub places!
A super nice grocery shopping market. I use it sparingly because it might get expensive. Fruit is the best there. Great meat selection. Kind people work there.
Great quality of produce. Lots of places where they randomly put products. Bread is placed in lots of corners. Very clean. Employees are friendly. It was not busy when I visited so parking is still okay. the best Habanero chicken in the deli section. They put extra sauce!
Good prices. Quality foods. Friendly service.
I like shopping at this store, the staff is pretty helpful. A lovely bakery and deli and a decent produce section.
My go to place for groceries. This is the best grocery store Ive ever had and super close to me.
Nice store, friendly service, great selections however, higher prices than other stores.
Today I picked up an online pick-up order from Pavilions on Alameda in Burbank as I have done once before and this time I was stunned to see the Living Lettuce the packer selected. The selection of this item by ANYONE would suggest the packer did not even look at it; it may not have been offered in the store produce any longer. Doubt there will be another order placed.
I love coming to this location simply because of the beautiful selection of flowers they have and the beauty section. 🤩 I love it also because its clean parking is not a problem they have a STARBUCKS inside which is a plus. The staff is friendly and helpful. Its not really crowded like other markets and most of the time they have everything stocked up.
Used self checkout. Employee could of been more attentive to avoid me having to repeatedly ask for grocery bags that I paid for. More often than not, I choose self checkout on a regular basis and have experienced higher levels of customer service from employees in the same area of job expertise.
Nice store. Generally clean, well stocked and nicely laid out. This store has a pharmacy which is convenient. You can get your Covid vaccine here. Just be sure to make an appointment. Quick, easy, painless! :-)
Great selection of food. Good customer service.
Great layout in the store with a high quality meat department.
$5.fridays are a good way to stock up on items you use and save money.
So packed with goodies! Very clean & organized. Staff friendly!
1 1/2 minute reaed:PAVILIONS is a PREMIRE SIGNATURE SUPERMARKET. It is well run. Staffed, maintained, stocked and a pleasure to wonder around in. Trust me for once!Back in the early 80s I first heard of PAVILIONS while I was FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR at Kingsley Manor Retirement Facility in East Hollywood. A resident there Ina Merlo, whom I befriended, asked me to take her to the market, to which I agreed. It was the PAVILIONS on Santa Monica Blvd and Vine- If Im wrong, please correct me.It was fabulous. Ina told me she loved PAVILIONS because, although more expensive, the fruits & vegetables were nice and fresh, the meats always the best, etc. With my owns eyes, and being a FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR, I agreed with Ina. BTW, Ina was 94 at the time. She lived to 104.This PAVILIONS on ALAMEDA is impressive. If youre in the area or have a PAVILIONS near you- go see for yourself! Thank you.
Huge, wonderful store with pleasant and helpful staff. You can find anything you need and then some. Exotic fruits, imported wines, extensive bakery and deli. This Pavilions is truly an experience everyone should have.
Was able to purchase all items on the shopping list. The staff was polite, professional, and friendly.
Snake River Beef! Great service; everything I needed
Dessert section for the win. Great beef selections, including brisket, aged beefs, along with lamb cuts. Overall has a great layout. Pro-Tip: start on the right side of the store and work your way to the frozen food aisle.
I love this store variety fresh Seafood and other produce thank you Pavilions.
I shop here often, however I think the produce section could be organized in a better way. The large open section with minimal fruit option could be better utilized I think. On the plus side, the employees are already very friendly and helpful.
This is definitely the best Pavilions in the region. From the layout and the specials to the variety and the service. Special Thanks to Wei in deli for checking on my question about salad ingredients and to Dave at the register for his grasp on 70s comedy bits. See yall next week!
This store has improved so much since it has been renovated. The sushi guy is fun to watch and his tuna sushi rolls look amazing. They have fancy saki too. This store has a wine tasting station and the wine people are knowledgeable. I love the produce section. It is pricey but worth it. The self pay line needs organizing though. I was in the makeshift self pay line and a famous elderly guy came in from the door and looked me in the eye and said Hi There surprised I said Hi back and he promptly tripped over the mat that is designed to save the employees back and legs but it is warped. Im so glad that he caught himself. Please fix;)
Great selections here. The younger employees seem a bit disgruntled. I like the sandwiches but Im another a fan of the bakery. Looks more delicious than it taste unfortunately.
Its clean and well stocked. Its worth the drive. Its so nice!
Its a grocery store. Very big and nice inventory.
This is far and away the nicest and cleanest grocery store in Burbank. Go later at night for the clean ghost town grocery store experience.
Love the store. Big, wide open, renovated, and great service
I like there breads and cookies and muffins!
I have to give a shout out to Pavilions. I bought a pice of fish here that was not very good. Came back the next day with my receipt and they gave me a return no questions asked. That definitely wins my trust and as a result, they kept my business. For the record, that’s the only thing I have bought there that I did not enjoy.
Their breakfast bar only every has dried out sausage for breakfast meat, NEVER any bacon as you can see by the empty sparkly clean pan. At 7:45am only 4 pieces of the dried out sausage links are left (which some will eat anyway when its the ONLY choice EVER). Note to store: most people like bacon more then sausage links ESPECIALLY when they are served dried out.
Not a bad place to shop but Ive found their prices to be not as competitive as they once were. Not sure if this is as a result of supply and demand or perhaps the grocery chain is doing this on purpose to target the upper middle class or even higher.
Nice place, clean and organized. Find almost everything you need, although just a tad more expensive than Ralphs. Plenty of parking. Friendly employees.
This is my neighborhood Pavilions, and I always have a great experience when I shop there. The manager, Cheree (hope I spelled her name correctly), her employee Jeffrey and another lady (I forgot her name) were SUPER helpful in the checkout process. They all were really patient as I was checking out their app for digital coupons for additional savings. It was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had — more to come I feel — thank you!!
So sad in these troubled times how the food prices keep going up and the quantity is less. You cant buy a pound of bacon anymore. Soon you may only be able to buy a 1/2 pound of bacon for the price you use to pay for a lb.
Not sure if you are as tired of the pandemic or just gave up. For years we found your venue superior to other markets, including local Vons.Your employees, who always have been your strength are now bringing you down. This morning, one of your employees walked across your store with Starbucks for another employee. I watched her walk with her face covering well below her nose and other employees not mention it to her. we walked towards your checkout when she now walks back across your store. I asked her to cover her nose and got, “it fogs my glasses”. I’m taken aback that other employers and customers wear glasses. If we are wearing masks to protect others from us, we don’t feel your store and employees are doing your part in protecting us. If wearing a mask is a condition of employment then please enforce it. I must wear a mask at work and to enter your store. Your employees can do the same. This is not the first time this happened at this store.Other stores are insuring our health and safety. It’s easy to say, then go to another store, it’s your obligation to enforce face covering mandate.
Love shopping at Pavilions because the employees are so friendly and the just u items are great.
Five dollar Friday is a good idea for all store
Great selection of food, fresh produce and fresh seafood..Clean store and courteous staff
Pavilions has very poor selection and very high prices with non-existent customer service. More reminiscent of a bargain-basement chain than the kind of upscale market they pretend to be. I will be patronizing more local, lower-priced competitors since they provide very comparable products and service.
Ive shopped at Pavilions many times. Theres none where I live in South Lake Tahoe but Im in Los Angeles now for a trip. Its like a fancy Safeway with a decent bakery and other fast food counters. Safeway is a huge market chain that includes Vons stores and Pavillion stores. They can usually be found in the western United States. From Colorado to California.
Pavilions meat and seafood department always has great selection! Including a great selection of Prime quality beef.
Great staff and good service. Decent variety of goods available.
Great store, lots of items. The only problem is when they change to providing bags to bring your own. Flips every time Mayor Garcetti issues a new public Covid-19 edict. 😡
Although pricier than other grocery stores, it is the best quality grocery goods around.
Got my flu vaccine early this year!
Beat grocery store in Burbank. 1000’s of options. The store is pretty big too.
No more US banj inside the store :(
I love coming to pavilions they have all the food items that I need and the supermarket is really clean and all the people that work here are very friendly and courteous the prices are fair and they have a lot of specialty items that you cant find at other places when youre around the area definitely come here to pavilions and check them out you wont be disappointed
My favorite market by a mile...wide lanes and lots of room for social distance unlike other markets. Grat selection and quality produce. Love ie
Cool place to shop!It is located in my hometown, so I dont mind driving a little longer for a bigger store. One thing though, they do need more vegan food options everywhere!
Great place to shop and very nice employees
Ok... nice folks
Always plenty of parking, beautiful flowers delicious cakes, great deals in their discount/mark down section and great service.
Pavilions is the upscale version of Vons, a little pricier and some better, more high end products. Originally I hesitated to shop there since its pricier than Ralphs but when you download the Pavillion app, in the just for you section they give you great savings on the products you regularly buy and often $5 off your order. Also you get free products such a fresh cooked rotisserie chicken or something else that you cant say no to. Pavilions is always clean and well stocked and youll enjoy shopping there
Disappointed lately at quality of some organic produce, particularly oranges, and absence of organic grass-fed lamb and beef, and alcohol spray bottles. Nevertheless this is my favorite neighborhood store and hope it stays that way. There are some wonderful people working there a for long time, like Claudia at the self-checkouts, always there to help you to get through them quickly!
Delivery to my home👍. Tracking so I am ready when groceries arrive.Very easy ordering, payment and after three separate deliveries only one item was out of stock.During the Pandemic I have been very happy to be able to stay safe at home.Suggestion, order in the evening, pick a time for next day delivery.
The Pharmacy does their best for me thanks again.
They make it a point to keep the store well stocked and the customers as minimal capacity. Making it better and safer to decontaminate surfaces between customers.
I have to say that this place has the worst customer service anywhere. I have called several times in the last 3 days to find out if they have an item in stock and everytime I call they either just hang up or push the hold button right away. After a few minutes on hold it will begin to ring again just for them to pick up receiver and slam it down or push the hold button again. The online site is horrible. Tells you that they carry an item but doesnt tell you if they have any in stock so you dont have to make a trip for nothing.
Honestly the best market around. Staff is amazing and always clean and stocked.
Excellent variety of food especially the hard to find ones.
Need clean and stocked wellquality
Great selection, quality and service.
Hello Handsome
Pavillions for shopping, especially for the holiday is the best!!! Did you know that not only do the have precooked Thanksgiving dinners (just heat Turkey for about 2 hrs) they also have pre-made, easy dinners for any night! Whaaaat? My new (secret) go to for dinner when I cant think of what to cook!! Check it out!!!
Cashier (middle aged guy) had no uniform or badge, kept his mask below nose and mouth, and sold me alcohol without checking id. Wow, just wow.
Good store. Nice, wide aisles, which helps maintain social distancing. Well stocked - much better than ordering online.
Never too crowded, good selection for a generic American grocery store, and friendly staff.
I found most of my favorite foods except one. Its a chicken ramen bowl in the freezer section. The brand is Ling Ling. I havent seen it there since August! 🤔
Now this place is like coming into cheers. They are always friendly and helpful. You see the managers do there part as well. Daniel greets you by name. Love the joking we have even with James (Manager). HONESTLY THERE ALL GREAT!!!
This Grocery store has everything. Services is excellent
I cant rate the shopping experience as I went there only to grab lunch. The sandwich section was taking a long time, so I grabbed some sushi, which was tasty.
This store goes above and beyond!! They always carry products without running out. Great friendly staff as well.
I love the produce department at Pavillions. Also, the staff are so friendly.
If you cant find it here ... this store has it all! A fun experience to shop here ... youll need some time.
Nice selection and some competive prices; fast checkout.
Friendly staff! i always find what i need. great quality produce and products! Prices a dollar or 2 more than Vons, but well worth it. I highly recommend This Pavilions
The Burbank Pavilions has been a grocery oasis during the virus shutdown. It is so well run by manager Tom and checkers Tammy and Barbara plus, of course, the entire team. Well done!
Love the selection!
Quality products and great service
I absolutely love this store not just because its right down the street from my house, but because the staff is wonderful and makes shopping here a pleasant experience.
You must be kidding?
I go out of my way for this Pavillions. Well managed and customer focused. Always well stocked.
Clean and I loved it 😉
I love the argentine shrimp, all the seafood wonderful.
Prices are high AF.
This is my preferred large grocery store in covid times. It has wide aisles and is not crowded if you go late in the evening. It usually has plenty of everything.
The customer service in the meat department doesnt exist, was blatantly ignored.
I love shopping at this location. I only get over here a couple times a year but I always stop. The store is always clean, smells nice, has friendly employees and lots of everything to select from. They have a florist, not just buckets of flowers, a Starbucks, wine tastings, a bakery and a meat counter to order anything your tastebuds desire.I strongly recommend Pavilions, Alameda in Burbank.
They renovated recently, and store is beautiful. Lots of hard-to-find items for those who love to cook and cant really find an ingredient. Bakery does an amazing job in breads/bagels. Huge selection of wines and other liquor. Flower corner is always full of grab-and-go arrangements, as well as custom.
