It was wonderful being back inside Monte Carlos after so long! Bought cheese, meats and lots of delicious imported cookies from Italy 🇮🇹

Portions are big. Meat lasagna is good, and also is the coffee. Great value for money.

Try to visit during off hours because it can get very busy.... But for a very good reason. They have the best authentic Italian and regional products. A wide variety of imported specialties and fresh pastries.I am of Italian ancestry from the Bronx and Brooklyn.This place is a Gem.The only thing missing... No Sawdust on the floor 🇮🇹.

44 years of great. But this Wednesday I arrived at 7:35 PM. Signs said 8, Google said 8 specifically on Wednesday, I know Ive been there up until 8 during mid week, and the Monte Carlo website says nothing. But while walking away from me the 3 men at the deli counter said I was mistaken. As he walked away his parting shot was that only on Friday and Saturday are they open until 8??? Not so much bothered by the whole time thing. Im pretty bothered by the condescending, I have no time for you attitude. Particularly after having driven 30+ miles.

We are 20 years shopping and eat lunch there always great pruduct all Italian love there spicy sausage olive oil 🛢collection great cheese and charcuterie. We are pleased every time we go service is top of the lineGrazia. A touti.

Connected to an old time Italian deli and a great gelato area you order at the counter from a good selection of Italian dishes and sandwiches and seat yourself. Good selection of salads and if you order a sandwich have them put the marinated tomatoes on. Fair pricing.

Normally its a good place. but the food was barley warm . vegetables. the service was poor . I most likely wont return. employees looked very unhappy.

Monte Carlo Italian Market has many different types of products for all your Italian food preparation. They have fresh foods daily. Try their breads. My favorite is the olive bread. They will cut bread for you. I toast the bread with olive oil. Great taste.

Very disappointed. Stood in line for 15 minutes, never moved. No one to take your order!

Drove here for their bread, fermented sausage, and pastries from Italy. I have flown and stayed in Venice, Italy and when I came here I found some goodies that I had bought in Italy. Same taste and everything. I love it! Definitely coming back. They sell Gelato here too, not bad.

A great selection of Italian food and the deli is incredible! They have fresh bread, cold cuts and cheese and a great selection of groceries and pastas I can go on and on. One of the things that I really appreciate is they had hot gardinare from Chicago, its not easy to come by, I usually have to ask friends or relatives to send it to me in Los Angeles. Friendly and fun with a great atmosphere.

I been coming to this Italian store since I was a baby. I so love the authenticity the environment the staff. I also have to mention the wonderful aroma of the breads and etc. I think you get what I’m saying. Years ago they had the sausages and the cheese hanging.I live in San Diego and travel to Burbank for the visits every month for the cookies, sausages, gelato, food, bread, and more. I wish Pinocchio’s/Monte Carlo would think about opening up a store in San Diego. I know I wouldn’t be the only person that would appreciate a store such as yours. ❤️

If youre cooking Italian food this is the place to get your ingredients, especially of youre going to attempt anything more complicated than spaghetti. They import the good stuff and got everything you need to make amazing Italian food with quality ingredients.

It was okay, in terms of the food, but the customer service can be very challenging, and in fact, all of the food servers seem to have a chip on their shoulders, for whatever obscure reason? Nevertheless, the food is good, especially their meat sauce, lasagna, ravioli, Italian sausages, meatballs, pastrami and Monte Carlo sandwiches, and the ice cream/Gelato is absoltely,amazing😋😋 and the atmosphere is very clean with a real little Italy village feel, and a heavy dose of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and the likes, music constantly playing over the surround sound system, but I recommend you guys do take-out, as the seating is a bit tight, especially with the social distancing still in full effect. !!😶👉👍

Pinocchios had some of the best food in town! ProTip: Just order in person instead of the pick-up option through the site/app, walk-ins get priority. I had to wait around 45 minutes after I had placed my order 30 minutes before that while everyone who lined up was in and out.

Love this place. My family and I have been going here for years.The food is good and filling.I love getting the pastrami sandwich for lunch. Theres a small Italian import grocery store with a fresh deli, bakery items and gelato! Yum!The patio tables outside are socially distanced enough to relax and enjoy your meal in cute Burbank.

Coming from a large Italian family and growing up in Burbank.....this is by far the best Italian market in the Valley. Ive lived a lot of other places, but as they say, theres no place like home. If youve only had Italian sausages from Ralphs or Whole Foods, you are in for a treat. Italian sausage with fennel is soooooo good. My Grandma passed in 2015, but simmer some of these babies in homemade sauce and I swear its like having her back. The store is chaotic.....in a good Italian sort of way. Kind of like my grandmas kitchen. Just be patient and good humored....its so worth it. Lots of other foods there too! And at Christmas time....forget about it! Its crazy and fun and I always see one of my friends moms in there...Very highly recommended.

Ive been going here since 1991. Most stuff is above average. The pizza, average. But, for such a long time, theyve provided low-key, basic, old school food, and have always been consistent. I only give 5 stars after a place has consistently provided above average or excellent food and service, through the years. Yes, this place makes Burbank proud.

Man behind counter kind of gruff.I ordered iced tea and they dont have lemons.I ordered veal parmagiana Which came served over spaghetti pasta with a goodly amount of marinara. Food was pretty good, actually. Except...and this is a deal breaker for me...I ordered marinated mushrooms and artichoke hearts, kind of an Italian Deli thing. They were NOT good at all. I could barely eat any of them. Whatever they were marinated in, was nasty tasting.I was SO disappointed!I live in Northridge and regularly go to the San Carlo deli to get the marinated stuff. Theirs are SUPER FANTASTIC! They make everything from scratch and put the shrooms and chokes in Italian dressing that really compliments the product!We will NOT be going back to the Monte Carlo Deli...
