Service can be too slow during busy times. But place is very clean. We usually just get the ice cream here. And you get a lot bang for your buck.The chips + nacho cheese isnt worth it and too expensive for what it is.FYI, you cant use credit card if your under $5.

Nice staff. Great ice cream. My daughter loved it. The small size truly is no bigger than the palm of your hand and was almost 4$.

Everything is good except they never have granola. I come once a week and they never have. Its always the same excuse we dont have for the moment.

La Michoacana has tamales now, but theyre rectangular. Thats weird but they are super delicious. I love the pork skin, flavorful and fresh with vegetables.

I finally found the right one. Family oriented one I should say. NO ghetto low, demeaning music and atmosphere to be honest. Prices are again high no doubt about it. They all taste the same none new but if you looking for a family place and willing to spend $50 to say the least yet where you can bring your child, this is the place. So 5 stars just for that. Prices are exaggerated at this franchises though, to me thats sad because it comes with their attitude. I seen and tasted the tortas nothing out of this world. Elotes, well if they ALL stores would keep them at a bit higher temp perhaps would taste better yet they should listen to the customer and NOT use too much butter though they should use more higher quality mayo...ughhh tastes solo cheap that it sticks to the roof of your mouth. Yup thats in EVERY MICHOACANA without EXCEPTION. Oh the flavor water, not really all fresh fruits..be careful on that.If I could give NO stars it is for prices, attitude, portions and products themselves. 5 STARS for the place ONLY.

Lots of ice cream flavors to choose from and my daughter swears the have the best elotes. Ill be trying the elotes my next trip.

Delicious Mexican ice pops made with real fruits! They also have Mexican style corn and different kinds of ice cream. Also flour based pork rinds (no pork - only flour) with hot sauce and lime.Delicious!

A little slow but could be better

My husband ordered mango sherbet and Farrar ice cream it even had some of the candy inside I ordered coconut ice cream with pataya sherbet. All I can say is WOW well be back for more theyve got quite a few flavors we need to try they also have fresh fruit, paletas all flavors, chicharrones nachos and elotes in a cup.👅👅👅👍👍

It has taken me a year to finally being able to write a review about my humiliating bad experience. I was a loyal customer ever since the beginning ( I believe 2015), I’ve seen them grow and expand like the new place they opened by 81st and Cicero. I knew the two places were related because I saw the same manager (I don’t know his name but he is thin and wears glasses). Well he was always very friendly and nice to my family.Last year this manager that I’m talking about was charging a family that he took care off and I was next to pay, while I was getting my last item from my order I notice that the guy that was serving me got my order wrong and I could tell by the color of it. So I asked him is the flavors he got was “ Ferrero and Chocolate abuelita” and he said “oh no”, he looked confused but also he knew he got them wrong and was gonna do everything he could to switch the flavors. So this manager overheard what was going on and out loud in front of his customers and the guy that was serving me told me “ Señora cuando pida no apunte a las nieves, diga los sabores para que no se lo den mal”. I felt so humiliated and accused for something that I did not do. When he was done with his customers I told him the way I felt and I asked the guy that was serving me in front of him “como te pedí la orden, apuntado o te dije los sabores? A lo que el respondió, “ me dijo los sabores” so I told the manager “ves, tú no estabas ahí cuando yo pedí mi orden y me estas acusando de haber pedido mi orden apuntando la verdad no es lo que me dijiste si no el tono y momento que me lo dijiste. Asumiste que yo pedí mi orden de esa forma pero no es así, solo te pido que no le hagas esto a otro cliente”,He apologized but also told me that it wasn’t a big deal ( lo siento señora pero no es para tanto) and I was like yeah just don’t do it again because I’ve a being a loyal customer to you and this makes not want to return again and he said to me “oh really! Then he removed his mask for no reason and also said “ oh si, pues yo nunca la he visto a usted” a lo que yo le respondí “ pues yo si te he visto todos estos años y en la otra tienda también” he just kept going on very rudely and unsympathetic to me. He also kept apologizing with attitude. The whole thing was just very unpleasant and that was my last time at this place. I will never return to this place.

I ordered alot of stuff for my family and they were so fast paced on it and they remember every detail of the orders I put in! Definitely an awesome place to get ice cream, chips and corn from.

Customer service was ok. I wasn’t greeted when I arrive, but they did answer all my questions. Fresas con crema was like fresas con leche. Extremely watered down.

Its super clean but loud music I dont tbink most people like, some employess care ratass like the manager about, I know because I had a talk with him and he simple said to leave. I asked for smaller pieces of fruits and employee said they are not allowed because then more yoghurt has to be poured in! Seems we just are money sign to owner. Just really sad place to go. I would not recommend this or any michoacana place!!!!

Their service is the worst. Attitude from every single one of them. To make it worst when you ask them for something is seems they don’t even know how to make it the correct way. Please check your receipts after paying . They over charge on “accident” . I just had to go back and let them know they over charged me. Ridiculous

I went to la Michoacana on 82 and Cicero and got an elote. It did not have the right amount of ingredients in it. On my following visit I went to la michoacana on 79th and state rd to get a yogurt ( Same owner), and I mentioned what had happened in the other store to the gentleman “Gabriel” who was taking care of us at the moment. Without hesitation he made a new elote for us. I have been a loyal customer for years and will continue being one.

Ice cream and food is the best from here. But customer service, (particularly from Pati), was horrible. Ruined my experience here. Leave the sass at home love. Sebas jr. on the other hand was very kind.

I love the food here. I always come with my brothers to grab paletas or an elote, but with the whole pandemic that’s going on there’s signs saying “wear a mask” but when I came to visit 6/10/20 around 9:00 pm there was 4 or 5 people NOT WEARING MASKS. I was about to ask to speak to someone because regardless if you want ice cream or something be considerate of the people there.

They have really good ice cream and yogurts. The menu is in all Spanish so if you dont speak it, I would expect a longer visit on your first time. Dont worry about getting your order through though, a fluent English speaker is always on hand.

We are in love! Incredible ice cream! We are already planning our next visit. The walking tacos looks amazing. Everything looks delicious! We had strawberry ice cream (milk based) and were blown away! They have milk based and water based by the way- perfect for all diets and food allergies. We also tried the pineapple sherbet. Mmmmmmm! The staff was efficient and nice. The line was long but moved fast. We met the owner at the register who was warm and welcoming. Cant wait to start trying their treats.

If I pay 6$ for a yogurt with fruit and all I get is a yogurt with bits and pieces of fruit do you think I’d still pay that price? No. If I wanted to just eat yogurt without fruit I’d stay at home! Teach your workers to put fruit inside your yogurt and not be stingy with the fruit. 0 stars.

I will go out of my way to go to this location. I get the yogurt with fruit and this location consistently has good quality of fruits. Not too ripe or borderline spoiled like other locations. Keep up the good work.

Everything is pretty yummy at this place my only problem is the cleanliness of the place the sitting area is always a hot mess I understand its an ice cream place and kids are around but they need to get more staff. Some of the fruit also tasted like it had been cut and in the fridge for a while already other then that paletas are really good! Updating my review I have seen much improvement and compared to many places by far the best

First to start off I go here more then 3 times a week during the summer. And I really never had a problem here until today when this kid who was clearly younger then me, so the way I was raised was respect your elder. Had this foul attitude and felt the need to disrespect me showing no leadership. Then before I proceed to order he sneezes into his arm I guess but didn’t switch gloves or nothing so I felt that was odd. Then whent on to tell other people they need to back up when there already backed up. Terrible experience this place is going down slowly you can see it ...

Every flavor imaginable is here. The ice cream is made freshly everyday and is absolutely delicious. If you want true authentic Mexican ice cream, look no further! If youve never tried Mexican ice cream and all youve ever know is Baskin Robbins or the similar, give this place a try. If you plan to go in the evening, try to come with a flavor of ice cream or ice lollipop already in mind because the lines are long during this time. Dont fret, the line goes by really quick!

This place is always clean and inviting. Their wide variety of flavors is incomparable to any Michoacana paleteria. Also, because they are always busy and have a lot of customers, their icecream is always fresher because it rotates faster. The only suggestion to improve their service is to hire more personnel, especially on busier days.

Well being my first time this place was great. They serve corn on the cob cut up in a cup with crumbled cheese with mayo and butter and Chile pepper it is so goooood. My kids love this place will see you soon!!! Thank you again.

Im not going to lie, its a bit pricey! With that said they have a great courteous staff its clean and the icecream is Great! I forgot my wallet with plenty of money in it and got it back as is with every bill. Delicious icecream and good honest people are hard to find!

Still the best 1 around the area 3 yrs running. Everything from the service, space to eat n of course all the food is on point. Dont be shy/afraid to try new things here or ask for a tasting. You wont leave disappointed

So many flavors there’s alot of places that have a similar name but this one is the original. Homemade ice cream and the best is the fruit yogurt. I like the piña colada yogurt with all the fruits and nuts and coconut as the topping. A must visit!!!!

I like the flavors of the ice cream, but I have two issues with the place. One is, if you go in the evening they usually have the place looking a bit dirty. Second is, this place is suppose to be a family place and I have issues with the music videos they choose to play on their monitors. Very suggestive images, and dont get me wrong Im not a prude, but I also dont want my kids looking at half make girls on monitors in the ice cream shoppe.

I ordered mango yogurt and the mango was hard and green not even ready to be eaten... and the staff refused to replace it... they dont care about anything ... waist off money and over price...

We started going here for the palatas. They are frozen ice cream like bars with milk or water. Some have fruit, some have nuts, but they are all delicious. They also have drinks, snacks and sandwiches.You will have to go early in the day as they usually have a line out the door. Plenty of seating is available, though we take ours home.Speaking Spanish could be helpful.

The ice cream is good paletas are good as well .but I only complain about the owner, and hes nephew, savas. They dont know how to treat there employees right .thats why you always end up seeing new faces all times. Especially how busy theyre always are he should appreciate the hard work there employees do for this man.

The thing I really like about this place is that it has a wide selection of food you can get. Not only do they have the typical ice cream, but they have a lot of great Mexican snacks. The place itself is okay, fairly clean in the seating area, and during peak hours it can get really crowded. But the long lines and packed environment are worth the wait for the food.

They are super friendly, and honestly 1 of the best mochicanas I’ve been too. Horchata was also the best in my opinion. And the ice cream was also freshly made.

There is one too many of these places, but I do have to say this is the best one of all.

I go here every once in a while as a treat for myself. Love their different verity of exotic ice cream. The yogurt fruit drink is amazing!

The wait time here is always ridiculous. When it’s busy I undesirables but even when is a low volume time they take too long for something as simple as a nieve or paleta. The ones in the city are faster. Staff is alright. They’re kinda young so get distracted so easy. Only because it’s closets to home otherwise I’d go the ones in the city.

Very poor customer service. The girls are so slow while the guys take more customers than them. The service needs to get better. It takes a very long time for the line to move ... I spent a long time waiting in line getting my order and paying every time I come here. It also sucks that they dont make fresh fruit with a variety of fruits . Who knows how long the fruit cups have been sitting in the fridge. I got an allergic reaction Im not sure why ( I had purchase a fruit cup) so they probably have cross contaminate their supplies or items.

Pretty good place. I just purchased a yogurt with fruits earlier and the yogurt wasn’t as good as before. Not sure if they’ve changed something about the vanilla yogurt.

This location seem chaotic and disorganized. The seating area was dirty and it seem like no one was assigned to clean the area. Although, the sweets were good but would love to enjoy them in a clean organized atmosphere!

Love love love this place!!! The fruit is amazing and always so fresh . The downside is if you are ordering a few things you need to go with cash as they have a minimum in order to use a credit card! I cant wait to go back in the summer and try some of their homemade paletas! I ordered a mangonada and it was out of this world!

The ice cream is very very good!

The food and everything is delicious, but the staff are extremely rude and slow. They dont really acknowledged you and expect you know what you want. I went in there and I had no idea what to do there. I brushed it off the first time around.The 2nd time around I brought my friend with me. We were both together, they get my friend order, but does not ask my order and skips to the another person behind me. Which I thought was not right.They need to learn better customer service. I love the food both times I went, but its a shame of how they treat their customers.

This place has ice cream made with fresh fruits, yogurt mixed with the fruit of your choice. There are mexican snacks like corn kernels with butter n cheese, and other things. My favorite is pecan yogurt with fruit topped with pecans. Also, pecan popsicles are good. Always crowded. Limited parking spots. They take credit cards.

Server had an attitude when I asked for different items. The rice and milk ice cream has no rice bits like it should. Cashier tells me in Spanish the printer is out and she owes me the receipt really if I was short a penny could I tell her I owe u a penny I think not this place is just hyped up because there are no other ice cream shops around. Which I could give it 0 stars not coming here again.

Service is usually good. Its an ice cream place so summer is always a bit more busy. Went in for a yogurt some short younger girl with dark hair does not know what she is doing. I order a yogurt she put the wrong fruit in there and to top it off didnt even put in a decent amount of fruit. Once she handed it to me i asked does this have mango? She said, no we dont have mango here. Yogurt clearly had mango in it. If you go get the older ladys that know what they are doing take the order.

Poor service from the guys men that help me and my family he gave me an aditude because I asked for a smaller size yogurt he then said thats the only size there is and gave me a blank look when clearly they have smaller cups to the right of the onece he showed me I understand they want to maximize there profit but not everyone want a large cup of sugar to top it off my complete order wasnt given to me not a happy customer but I suppose what can I expect of a place like this.
