We got one of each to-go this time🥳 We enjoyed our greenhouse table again but I looked more inside and its beautiful multi-colored cedar planking🤩9.21.21 Delicious! They have unique berry options for waffles 🤤. Their muffins are moist and delicious (try rhubarb!) The florentine omelette was exactly what we needed. Service was great 👍We got to eat in our own private TeePee greenhouse so that was fun!

Great breakfast, prices and service! I enjoyed the buttermilk pancake, egg, bacon and coffee.The pancake was so fluffy and moist: its like cake batter. Id give 5 stars if they had espresso options.Missed opportunity to create more revenue with a branded interior design and retail/merchandise (sweatshirts, berry syrups, buttermilk pancake mix). I would have bought all of that to bring home to family.

We took take out because our daughter does not yet have her shot. But my husband said it was the best fish sandwich he has ever had and we all enjoyed our meal. All of us were well pleased with our meals and they packaged it up beautifully. Mary H

Great food but the place was packed and had to wait in line just just to pick up a order and the Denver omelet was great the only thing was the line and the waits to get a seat but that just means the place is good right!! Also they have really nice outside seating that’s covered in like a plastic tent kinda thing and hay it’s cool if you have to eat outside and so if your looking for a good priced American food place then golly This is it! The poor girl at the front seemed flustered and I can see why with all people! She was trying get best! Good girl!

My husbands friend invited us to dine here. First time. We were told that its better than Dennys. It was delicious. Portions were larger than I expected! We both love it here😍 Food was great! Inside..nice and clean! The staff were so friendly! It was a good day! I will definitely come back here again.🤙

Can’t speak for the food because we never got to that point. But wanted to try this place since the new owners. Called ahead, ask if they do outdoor dining. The waitress said yes. Pulled up saw the little huts outside, thought they were rad. We get inside with our group and ask to be seated outdoors, the waitress then informs me they aren’t doing dining outdoors? I said I just called? Nonetheless it was a huge waste of time and we went elsewhere

Huckleberry Squares claim to the best chicken fried steak around holds up well. Having had the good stuff from Oklahoma and Texas, I have pretty high standards. It was not the best I have ever had but it certainly was some of the best I have had in the Pacific Northwest. My eggs were also cooked perfectly and my hashbrowns were crisp on the outside and cooked through. I never understand why restaurants have a hard time getting that right. The service was good and the food came out quickly. Price point was right for diner food. Great atmosphere for a casual date or a family dinner.

Good food large portions attentive staff all around good experience. Waitress did forget my English muffin but its ok I did need it anyway. Prices are decent considering covid 19 sent costs up for everyone. Booth was cozy sunshine was warm.

Very nice waiters and waitresses. They make you feel comfortable and put a smile on your face. Your order comes very quickly also. I had an issue with my fried chicken. It was over cooked. But my friend ordered the chicken fried steak and it was pretty good. I also recommend their mimosas and mozzarella sticks. They were very good.

We were starving after a crazy night out when we went to this place. It was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. There were some delays due to COVID-19 restrictions, but portion sizes are good and food was delicious.

So good, I considered giving them only 1 star, so I could keep it secret. Upon my first visit I knew Huckleberry Square was my new favorite restaurant. It has character, is clean and well kept; staff is friendly and provides prompt service. The menu features a plethora of choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Including an option or two with their namesake huckleberries. Even the price, was reasonable. They deserve 6 stars, but lets keep it just between us.

A last minute decision. Were not local, but were definitely hungry. Seating is available outside in enclosed shelters, as well as inside. Busy place. Masks required. Masked waitstaff. Super-efficient waitress Kari (?). She was on the job. Great personality, good food and nice selections. Thanks for the super service!

Food is awesome. I take it home though. Order on the phone and pick it up to go and its always awesome. Lots of places short me on the onions. Not here. I cant even recommend just one thing. This place makes everything good from breakfast to dinner and dessert. No matter what dish you get, get the cobbler crisp to eat later. Either berry choice.

Good food at a reasonable price very busy only rating 4 stars because the lady on the phone was having a very hard time understanding what I wanted kept having to repeat myself still would recommend grabbing a bit to eat here.

This place had great reviews so we drove an extra 15 mins to eat there. There was a 15 min wait. Not bad. But the food was so far below expectations. The waitress told us the breakfast sausage gravy was from a can. Gravy is one of the easiest and cheapest things to make. Everything was bland and just meh. Nothing was bad but nothing was great. Except the huckleberry muffin it was warm and delicious and just about the only thing we could tell that had been made there.

I had a wonderful experience here. Social distancing was in place and all staff were wearing mask and sanitizing everything. The customer service was amazing and staff was super friendly. The food came out quick and the food was absolutely delicious. If you hadnt tried the huckleberry streusel coffee cake try it, probably the highlight of my breakfast.

As usual, we had a fantastic experience; from the Lobby and the Hostess, to our Server who was able to anticipate and follow through, to the excellent eggs, hashbrowns and English muffins. Year after year, Huckleberry Square does not disappoint!

Terrible service. Ordered a Sir Tom sandwich, which is supposed to have cranberry sauce. Came back to my hotel room and realized that they forgot the cranberry sauce. And they also forgot to give me a dressing for my salad. I called them and asked them to make it right, but all they gave me is excuses. Food was mediocre. Maybe eat somewhere that is more customer friendly. I’m sitting here with my dry sandwich and dry salad. Sucks!

The Denver omelet is so good. They dont skimp on the veggies and ham! So delicious. Not a fan of any of their bread options really. The pancakes are also very good. French toast lacks flavor, but overall Huckleberry is a pretty ymmu place for American breakfast.

I had the pleasure of eating here in person and ordering through DoorDash. Both times the food was excellent and packaged well for delivery. Places that serve breakfast all day are always at the top of my list. A definite must try. And yes, you want a biscuit!

Great friendly service. The food seems to have been upgraded with the new ownership and the place is looking the best Ive ever seen it - new carpet, much cleaner, and they now have Bloody Marys! My family has been coming here off and on since the 1980s. I love how its still such a big part of the Burien community. And the Fractured Vegetarian Omelet is still amazing!

A great place near the airport for a quick breakfast before catching your flight. Staffs were friendly and prompt to get out drinks and orders. As usual when trying out a new breakfast place we ordered the chicken fried steaks (CFS). We love the huckleberry muffin as another option instead of bread. The muffin was cakey and moist.The CFS had a nice crunch from the crust. Though not the best but still had very flavorful. The batter was separated from the meat so its a bit messy at times. The meat and the sausage gravy was also well seasoned. The eggs were cooked per our order.

Pretty good overall! The staff were really sweet and the decor was lovely native american artwork. I did have to wait a while for food because they were out of what I ordered and it didnt get communicated up to the front in as timely a manner as it couldve been but they comped half my replacement meal which was super nice of them. Overall a lovely place. :)

I havent been there in a few years, and I came across it on a delivery app and ordered my favorite omlettes and LOVED THEM. Im glad I found you again.

I liked the decor but the waffles were heavy and tasted strongly of vanilla.

Food is great, customer service is amazing!! Rachel took care of us both times we were there and she is so nice. The decor is awesome, one day I will go in and count the bears.

For years I struggled to get in there because they were always packed. With pandemic, theyre not packed anymore and you can get in to enjoy their tasty, reasonably priced food. Had a cheeseburger, came with all the fixings on a plate so I could choose what I wanted on it. Friend had fish & chips. Real Cod, not oily or greasy, tasty breading.

Ordered a full stack of Oregon marionberry pancakes. The actual pancakes were nice and fluffy. I was a bit disappointed with the jam. It was lacking fresh marionberry taste. Didnt think it was worth the extra $4.50. Other than that, I had a good experience.

I miss this place so much. Used to have the chicken fried steak with eggs for breakfast. And the waffles are a favorite. Very good portions and delicious food. Good service. Will definitely be back one day.

I live in Redmond. Stumbled into this eatery by coincidence and glad I did. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent as well. Very reasonable priced too. I’ve been back several times to eat there now. One of my favorite places on the south side of Seattle.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for 6 years. My whole family and I have enjoyed the food here, the cleanliness, friendly waiters and waitresses. I don’t know about rest of my family but I’ll never visit this restaurant ever again. New owners, new menu and way higher prices now. I ordered a $10 breakfast and wanted a pancake on the side which I got, but didn’t know I’d have to pay $7.00 for one pancake. I wish the waitress would of warned me it would be $7.00. She knows the menu is different and expected an old lady to read on menu that there’s no add-ons to meals at a lower price. She would do nothing about it. My daughter made me leave her a tip which I was not going to do. The new management doesn’t let her give their customers a break. Good luck hanging on to your customers Huckleberry!

This place is consistently mediocre. We keep going back because the servings are large the service is good and it seems to be a local tradition. Honestly I think it depends on who is in the kitchen cooking. theres a lot of packaged, frozen Costco food gravys arent homemade and they use too much of it to smother the inferior burger products they use 🤔

Wow! What was amazing was we found a parking spot! This place was packed with customers enjoying some really good food. We had some omelette with bacon, tomatoes and just a hint of cilantro with hash browns, it was delicious. What was really neat, was this place had Easter decorations up. We enjoyed this place, it felt very homey.

Delicious breakfast! Great location with free parking. Absolutely adorable atmosphere with attentive friendly service. Coffee cup was never empty. Obviously they specialize in Huckleberry but did you know they also sale a variety of items with the same theme in store? They do! I will definitely return and get me something from this gem of a restaurant. And recommend. So many tantalizing menu options. Going to try their omelettes next time. I was naughty & went the cinnamon roll route.

Wasnt super impressed with the offerings, everything was a little on the bland side. I will say they have friendly staff, clean dining room, large portions and a nice northwest aesthetic. I will have to give them another chance the next time Im in the area.

Amazing food! Who knew salmon and eggs Benedict would pair well together? They were very nice aside from the fact they were kinda busy and the waiter wasnt very attentive, which I feel is important even when busy.

Cozy, and comfortable. Prices are competitive and portions are considerably larger than what you’d get at Denny’s, with arguably better taste.

Great pie selection and wonderful waffles. The dinner menu is just as delicious as the breakfast. Fast friendly waitress and hostess and be sure to tip the chef too!

Great place to stop while in town. Had mozzarella sticks and the marinara sauce was incredible, very hearty and made me wish I had more. Picky eater kiddo said the chicken sandwich was one of his favorites ever. Service was excellent, Sandy took the extra time to chat a bit and made us out-of-towners feel at home. Will definitely come back if were in the area again.

Huckleberry square is good food.. but working lady is very rude. Because I always come pick food. Old lady is nice. But one young lady behavior not good she name maly. And always taking to long time. My pick time is 4.05 and she give me food 4.30. .Always like that. Wating 25 minutes..

Oh my gosh! Seattles best breakfast by far! If you come on the weekends expect to have a 10 to 15 minute wait. It is worth it. The portions are huge and at a very fair price.the staff are warm and friendly with a smile. Our food was served in a very timely manner, fresh and hot. Be sure to dine here you wont be disappointed.

Had a great breakfast here. Portions are perfect for the price and service was top notch. Great place to bring the family. Omlets are MASSIVE. Kids menu items are as large as some of the adult portions, at least for breakfast. Will be back for sure.

We came in for breakfast and I have to say that it is better than I expected! I am not a fan of dark roast coffee because I like my coffee black and sweet but whatever coffee they use is really good. My scrambled eggs were a little dry to me but the steak was cooked just the way I like it...perfect medium rare! Pancakes were large and fluffy. I also loved the freezer jam they served with the toast.A really good meal at a nice price! And their background music is exceptional!

Weve been eating here for at least 25yrs. The Meal we had on 8/19/21 has got to be the worst!! So much went wrong too much to post but heres one. They raised the price which is cool but I expect good quality!!$10.95 For a1/3lb plain burger every thing was COLD and the Bun looked like someone stepped on it.. I also ordered a side of Tartar for my cold fries$0.50 for a container smaller that a Smuckers cup you get for free with your toast!!!The Breakfast was just as bad and the price went up with that also we sat outside and every area was filthy one spot had a bowl of water for some kind of 4 legged friend!!I could go on but I hope you get the idea,this is my favorite place to eat so I will give it one more try,but this new Owner get his S--t together or people will go elsewhere..

Usually get amazing food from here and love their biscuits and gravy but this is burnt toast and jello gravy. Being a to go order too, not worth the time to go back. Dont know what has changed but beware.

Maybe better for breakfast, food was fine but nothing special and had to ask for a new plate when splitting a dish because the first one was still dirty. The wait staff were very friendly and accommodating though when we wanted to sit outside.

Very CovId friendly. Tables spaces well and masks worn. ***Air Conditioning too! Had fried chicken dinner with potatoes and veggies and salad. Really good flavor, crisp and not greasy. I tried a triple decker tuna with bacon and cheese. New taste experience. Had to take dessert home, huckleberry crisp and Marion berry cobbler. All for about $35. Love it, friendly staff and good food.

Been eating here for almost 40 years Disappointed about the food. Mashed potatoes are from a box, gluey and lacking flavor. Canned corn - no flavor. Salad had a wedge of lettuce covered by regular lettuce pieces. My favorite chocolate cream pie floury crust filling not very chocolaty. Im sad. Staff was very nice.

Great Breakfast. This was our first time eating here and they did not disappoint. The wait staff was very friendly and fast with the service. It is not a new restraunt and so it has the older, cozy feel but it is clean. We sat next to the dessert case, so we were able to see all their delicious looking pies, cinnamon rolls and crumbles. They also have a great assortment of hot teas to choose from. Our choice for breakfast ended up being very simple as they had a 3 meat omelette on special, and you get to choose between different toast options or a huckleberry crumble to go with your omelette and hash browns, so my husband and I both ordered this with the crumble. The omelette was fluffy and loaded with ham, sausage, bacon and cheddar cheese. The hash browns were crispy and not greasy. The huckleberry crumble was a sweet, cinnamon, huckleberry, moist coffee cake that was worth the calories. We will definitely be going back.

Really great place to eat. Tons of delicious breakfasts to choose from, though I went for the lunch menu and had a Reuben. The corned beef was thick and the sauerkraut plentiful. Had the five mushroom soup to accompany my sandwich and that was the neat part of the meal.Very reasonable prices and fantastic service.

We’ve been eating here for nine years and have found it to be an exceptional restaurant in terms of customer care and menu. When we went in today to eat we found that the fresh tea generally fresh brewed has been changed to coming from the soda fountain and it taste like soda instead of tea. I shall not order I shall not order tea any longer. This was a very poor decision for such a formerly great restaurant.

My family and I ate here for the first time this evening and it was exceptional! My husband ordered a 1lb burger and it was massive! The pancakes were none I’ve eaten before they were sooo delicious!! 😋 There’s also a pretty good kids menu. The prices are good especially since they fill your plates pretty well. We will definitely be back for another family meal!

The place is pretty good.... I wouldnt say amazing. You probably will have to wait a long time to get in though as they are usually pretty busy.

The dining experience was just great, we were pleased with the promt and polite service, their kids menu was a coloring page and they provided crayons. The delicious food was ready before we had even expected and the environment, despite being a restaurant was calm and relaxing. We, including our child, enjoyed ourselves.

The food is so good! Our waitress took care of all of our needs and she was so polite. I definitely recommend this place!
