When I moved to the area I didn’t know they had a PCC and had never even been. Now a member, love having access to good hot food, high quality ingredients, and good selection of cheeses and produce. Yes it’s expensive, but you’re paying for good product. Store is always clean and accessible.
Their Deli needs to be better with fresh items as couple times I had to come back to get a refund. Recently. It was stale chicken taquitos and breaded chicken fingers.
Products fresh, frozen and deli are high quality and locally sourced when possible. As local supporters we can get all we need plus the Impulse purchase dang it. Price is higher-end! Products high-end!
Love this place for their quality of produce, meats and deli/bakery first of all! Not to mention they have a great lineup for vegans and lactose free. Good selection on the micros and wine but limited on spirits. They are higher in price than your mainstream grocery stores but you cant beat the quality. Its a true complete grocery store. Parking is better at the Burien store than most other stores.
Great selection of food with many dietary options available. Bakery and deli as well as bulk food section. Many vegan options in every department. Large selection of wine and drinks, hot and cold food bar sold by weight.
This is among best of its class of limited line full serve grocers specializing in meat & produce. Prices on high end. House made take & go & various bars fresh & high quality
This store is so different from when I first started going to PCC as a teen. I love the new look and the store has so many gluten and dairy free options.
Excellent store with full service everywhere. Great Local and other craft beers and wine section is good. Great looking bakery goods.
Rude white male old not youthful cashiers, oppressing those who don’t muzzle. White males in particular oppressing me a person of color. A person with a skin condition for generic masks I cannot wear. Metropolitan market will receive all of our business & recommendations. Keep supporting the police state and the oppressors PCC. Thank you for making me write this in English and enjoy losing other customers.
I love shopping at the pcc Burien location but they ruined my trust on my sons 18th birthday. i order cake for his special day week early and was confirmed to be picked up on day i asked for. on his celebration day when my husband went to pick up the cake they said they dont have the cake we ordered. they said it was never ordered. i still remember, i spoke with the lady in the bakery and she said itll be ready the day we need it. the gentle man who was trying to help my husband try everything to save the day but he couldnt find anything. please be careful when ordering in advance go in the store and order in person not over the phone. i just want that lady to be more careful when taking orders for special occasions. i sill love shopping and go back there. one star only for that lady not for the store.
Great food store! Good food and affordable prices. Fresh veggies and great quality fruits.
Best customer service reps in the business! Love how they get to know you and your needs to serve you better...definitely be back each time we are in the area
Only a 4 star because I dont love the layout, but great grocery store in downtown Glenview. Differentiator? Best deli
The staff is quick and they keep the store clean and organized. The food is good quality and affordable too!
Its great to have PCC so close to home. Its always a pleasure to visit and find new goodies, along with the normal groceries. I recently discovered they have amazing fresh baked pizza and I dont know if I can go back to delivery.
Upping this one to 5 stars because theyre getting better at listening to common sense.
Good health food market..If you have questions just ask they will get with you to tell you what your diet needs. You have to be a member for some benefits though but its worth it
Nice road signage on the freeway lead me to the goods I was in need of.
This is a great supermarket. A great range of products and I was very happy with the customer service.
Ive been a customer of PCC for over 10+ years, making a shopping trip almost weekly with my family and have always had a great shopping experience, until today. I was shopping with my family and was very rudely approached by an older white male employee because my youngest son was not wearing a mask due to medical reasons. He made my family and I, especially my children feel very uncomfortable and upset and said we would not be able to be checked out by any cashier and would have to leave the store if he didnt put on a mask, as it was their store policy anyone over the age of 2, must wear a mask to shop at their store. We then took the mask that he wanted him to wear and quickly finished our shopping, only to pass by other customers, one with their mask down shopping and another checking out with no mask on. I honestly feel we were targeted by him for being an Asian family, as the other customers seemed to have no problem shopping at all. I will be sharing my experience with my family and others as this is not how any customers should be treated, especially with everything going on lately towards Asian Americans.
I havent been in a PCC for a long time and I quite enjoyed looking around and seeing what there was I really liked it and the deli had amazing enchiladas definitely will be back for that
Neat little store with hot food and healthly grocery items! Foundd natural stevia sweetener which is hard to find at Walmart or other comparable stores! I really liked the vibe!
When your looking for that something special and unique
Great place for a quick snack or lunch. Salad bar, sandwiches, soup. All yummy.
I absolutely love PCC the people are very friendly and the food is delicious.
Dare I say it, I think I like this place better than Whole Foods. Literally stumbled on this place on my way to Trader Joe’s (next door 5 stores down). This grocery store has awesome local selections and is very modern / open. Their wall of nuts and trail mix is like a work of art. Everything is clean and the staff was super friendly. Whoever merchandises this place deserves a raise, simply beautiful.
It was fine super expensive food. They allowed a drug addicted pan handler to terrorize me and other shoppers. Not Going Back There Ever
Mostly organic products, good produce selection, good deli selection, nice salad bar, hot bar is expensive but good selection, customer service is hit or miss except Carol up front and MaryAnn in the bakery. Those two are awesome. There are a couple of people in the deli who are nice but a lot of times you stand there and wait for someone to notice you. At times produce is hit or miss. Weve bought lemons that looked good outside but smelled off and were turning brown inside. I recently picked up two sweet onions the same day I was cooking with them. The one I cut was bad inside. I didnt bother cutting the second one, just composted both. You can return items with a receipt within 30 days that arent up to par but for me driving back to Burien for a lemon or two onions isnt worth it. The tap kombucha in the bakery rotates flavors and is really good. The bakery also has cheese/egg/meat breakfast sandwiches on cheddar biscuits or one w/o the meat. Theyre pretty good size and convenient. They have Custom Pure filtered water @ .49/gal. As you can see from the photo its filtered pretty clean and that price is a great deal. A lot of people have heard PCC is expensive. I dont think it is. You have deals there just like the other grocers in the area. And for the most part the quality is great. **This is the only thing I truly dislike about PCC-the deli will smash and pack as much into your container as is humanly possible. Even if you ask them not to if you arent watching they will. I learned the hard way.
I primarily come here for their fresh lunch options. Their soups, sandwiches, and deli-prepares sides are fantastic. I especially love their salad bar, I would kill for that fresh house made ranch!!For the price, getting often local and organic ingredients feels really good. The staff are usually very friendly and helpful, ESPECIALLY the baristas! A true hidden gem is their espresso coffees, way better than most coffee shops near by, who knew? Of course there are somethings that feel quite over priced, I hardly can bring myself to buy any of their meats or seafood, there are other options that are just as good and cheaper.Another aspect that does not seem to pay for itself is their Co-Op membership, $50 a year, and after doing the math, does not pay for itself unless you 1. shop there a lot 2. buy things that are actually on sale for co-op members. If you mostly buy their lunch foods and produce, that hardly if ever goes on co-op sale and you most likely wont hit that $50 membership fee. But if you do shop a lot, the membership does come with seasonal perks and freebies! All depends on your habits.
A very nice neighborhood friendly grocery store.
Great place to shop for organic and sustainable sourced foods. Friendly staff and checkers. Give them a try.
My favorite grocery store. Great selection of local, organic, and sustainable food.
Counteracting Karens claim of being terrorized by a pan handler due to lack of believability. And because words are powerful, especially the word terrorize. Im here now and the closest thing I see is a terrier barking alot... adorable raw rawrf
PCC has everything I need for a whole foods, all natural and organic lifestyle. Clean premises and friendly staff ensure the safety and well being of all customers.
5 out of 5 stars - helpful staff - grind your on peanut butter. Only suggestion is to add honey roasted peanuts to the selection
Options and speed. There are other similar stores close by. This place might be more pricey, but it has great products, awesome customer service, and there are significantly less wait times
Interesting, great store but food is pricy.
Great market, can be expensive but totally worth it! Staff was great too!!
Clean and variety of food. Loved this hot and cold food bar. But way to pricey got small 1lb food box and small cup of soup and it came to $20 😳 so never again.
Excellent deli and prepared foods. Quality and variety are simply wonderful. Will definitely be back.
10000% amazing. Great selection of foods and excellent service. Accidentally dropped a glass bottle of kombucha in the parking lot and went inside to ask for a broom to sweep it up from under the tire, and they came out and did it for me and exchanged the broken bottle for a new full one. I also cant wait to try the bonito flakes we found! Definitely coming back often.
Fresh high quality especially good for produce. not the widest selection. nice calm shopping environment.
PCC is always great for organic fruits, vegetables and many other natural products. Great for groceries and a quick lunch, for example a nice salad. But their cookies and their baked goods...ahh man, thats a whole nother story! The cookies are so enjoyable! I would do ANYTHING to get a taste of their deserts. They have different kinds and they even have the vegan cookies (which are surprisingly great as well) for the vegans out there. Im gonna have to find whoever bakes them cookies and give them a fat round of applause because they put lots of effort into them.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Wait, this is the best part, the cookies are about 1$ each, 1$ each and 1$ EACH. And their that good?? OMG. Thats a fantastic deal! And you cant forget about the staff. Their always so helpful in what they do. I know its their job and all, but it just hits you differently. Once again, I highly recommend PCC and its bakery section. Im definitely making another visit.
Love This store and their employees!
Not as much stuff as a Kirkland or West Seattle, but pretty decent.
Good services & up to my needs.
They always have something interesting to try out.
What a proud place it was when it first opened now the chef and Cooks in the kitchens jackets are so great, its like they dont even care anymore. And if thats what their jackets look like I dont want to see how they take care of the back of the house area where they cook. But other than that the rest of this door seems to be in very good shape.
Crossing through produce to the left side is an amazing array of bakery items then to their deli with a multitude of meals, ready to take. Soups, salads, and full meals, both heated and cold, greet you there. In the cooler are soups and sauces to complete the family meals. Oil n the back wall starts with the cheesemonger, to satisfy your gourmet snacking and meal preparation. As we peruse the back wall we access both fish and the meats of quality, so many choices to situate your kitchen and snack bars. That touches the outer edges of the great store that is PCC, go look and create your fine creations with their fantastic bounty.
Love this place. PCC has been doing locally sourced, non-gmo, organic since I was a kid. You wont go wrong and the people know their stuff. Love the take out options and HUGE gourmet cheese selection. If I am in the area, I dont miss a chance to stop by and pick up a few indulgences.
Wonderful brands, foods and very good slices of pizza. Quite expensive, though.
One of my favorite grocery stores
Its always a great experience going to PCC! They have the best products especially for my husband whose lactose intolerant!
Great store, I go here often.
I love to shop at PCC. The bakery is where I would love to live. The scones are very delicious.
Love this place, very organized and easy to find grocery. Also food is absolutely outstanding.
Great selection and friendly staff. Vegan options are limited compared to the Fremont location.
They had my cake... You must try the Chantilly Vanilla sheet cake.. omg!! 💘 Always a variety of gorgeous flowers.
Buffett isle is the best Ive seen. Great staff!
While this is a very nice and clean market, the deli and fresh food areas are very inconsistent. I understand you have to switch things out from time to time to have a variety, but could you maybe, do a poll to keep popular items in?? Their salmon chowder and avocado, bacon, and turkey paninis are some of the best market foods I’ve ever had in my life, but it seems like they’re not there often when I come!! They also pull the food out way too early. I come after 6pm sometimes and recently, barely any of their foods are left. Maybe it’s the pandemic, but it’s really disappointing.EDIT: went back a few months after this review, and they had all of the soups out! Hooray! They also had a great selection of all different kinds of meats (beef, lamb, seafood, etc). So nice to see everything back! Thank you for fixing the store!
My experiences today at checkstand was very disrespectfully from cushier Kenneth C and the person who nagged. Never should an employee yell anyone, even a customer to not get mad and lecture a customer with disrespectful. The nagger was an Asian women. You never know why someone is upset or irritable. Just be patient and respectfully. In this day and age where people can be volitable, dont add fuel to whats upsetting a customer. This employee needs to be counseled on lecturing customers. Very inappropriate.
Good food and selection. Generally not too busy and they take CPVID very seriously.
My favorite grocery store. Friendly staff and lots of variety. Always good on the organics and bread. Bread is important.
Great store. Id give it 5 stars but they are def overpriced.
Best selection of natural foods, produce, deli. Wonderful staff
Though theres a PCC right down the street from me, I drive 20 mins to this one because theres a better selection of departments. I love to get the yogurts, hot foods and deli selections. Everything I get is yummy. But its not somewhere I go every other day, because it is pricey.
Excellent grocery super market
I had a question before entering the store and seen two women associates talking near the plants working. I stop and said hi and waited for a response but they looked at me and just continued to talk. No one seemed helpful in this store with assistance. Totally different environment then the PCC in issaquah.
Great variety of organic fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, spices (both prepackaged and bulk), including unique items, e.g., burdock root, stinging nettle, that other stores may not carry.
Great customer service i stopped in on the off hours and asked if I could wash my hands and get a drink and some food because I was hungry and thirsty. I start my work day at 3 am and by 8 am I am hungry and thirsty. I did not bring snacks because I was running late for work. But they were kind and let me wash my hands and get a drink instead of just turning me away. The food was eggs sausage and potatoes. Some of the best eggs i have had will definitely go back for more food.
This place is well kept: Very clean and organized. It doesnt have a huge variety like a grocery store but it has a nice selection of local wines, fresh produce, fresh meats and deli foods. I stopped in to crab a few small snacks but still ended up going next door to Trader Joes.
Great fresh produce, organic, and natural choices; a little pricey for my everyday shopping, but great when shopping for special meals.
I couldnt survive without them.
Very rude and unprofessional cashier. Was here with my fiancé grabbing a couple items for dinner. The cashier asked her how she was doing in which my fiancé shook her head in response. She had misunderstood the cashier and thought we were being asked if we were members. In response the cashier walked around the register to confront my fiancé and shouted “how are you doing?” Right in front of her. It was very loud, confrontational, and ingenious. I felt very embarrassed and won’t be going here again.Good quality food however this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced poor attitudes from the cashiers.
Just a small whole foods style store, just as expensive
People wear masks here. Thats nice. Neat store too. Good business model.
Great healthy selections, kindve pricey but I like it! Almost like a Trader Joes!
How can you not give this place 5 stars? Got chicken noodles soup and matcha tea for my sick girlfriend
Very clean and beautiful store. Large variety of items to choose from the store has everything.
Great place. Sad to see obnoxious customer without a mask get served. Why put up signs if you are not willing to deny entrance to those who obviously dont care about the safety of others. Please dont give me My Constitutional Right explanation.Thats fine. Requiring and urging are worlds apart. I do not want to be near people who dont respect others safety. If they are willing to put others in danger at your store then I can only assume they are not careful in other settings. These people are the ones most likely to spread the virus. They put me at risk and also your employees.I will do pickup type shopping for now rather than needlessly expose myself to possible infection.
Awesome grocery store
This is a great pcc very friendly and always fresh
Great deli selection. A little pricey but delicious, so I come back from time to time.
Im so glad PCC built this store. Its close to my house and very well stocked.
When they first opened, they hardly had anything in the store! (I used to work for Whole Foods Market. so I expected to see more volume in merchandise), Its come a ways now though, yesterday I found everything I needed, including the best lamb burgers and chipotle chicken burgers and lets not forget the macrina brioche hamburger buns to go with.....
This place is awesome!
First time and its clean and well stocked :)
All the things of Whole Foods except a quarter of the size and is quite manageable.
This place has exceptional customer service. They are very attentive to their customers and always are very helpful innovating items in the store. Please visit if you get some time to.
Nice place great service.
I love PCC and Id give them a five star rating except for the fact that this store is smaller than many of their other stores and doesnt carry everything I wished for. Im thrilled their cookies, donuts and bread are now individually wrapped as they last longer.
This is not the first time I have had poor customer service. I had asked the female worker that was working in the supplement and natural remedy area for some help with Lichen. She was so rude . I felt like I was a bother to her. That is part of her job is customer service and to have respect for the customers that enter the store in a professional manner. I have brought this up to a manager at this store before when I had a rude cashier. I see things have not changed. I will not be returning. There are other markets that have great customer service in there area .
