The Joint in Burien and other locations are NOT participating in Medical Cannabis, including illegally charging taxes to verified Medical Cannabis patients. For over a year, they have REFUSED to maintain RX Verifying Staff or Equipment to make the State Required RX Card. Now they REFUSE to follow State Law and are charging Verified Medical Patients Taxes. Just as you pay NO TAX on a Drug Store RX or Groceries, Medical Cannabis patients are NOT to Pay Tax on Cannabis Purchased at stores run under the State Cannabis program. They arrogantly say No, the State is Recreational ... We are not doing that. The vibe becomes the gangster back alley dealer. Its pretty bad. Sweet Leaf in Aberdeen is a better option for Medical patients.

This store use to be a 5 but since they changed up the affordable bags. because of whatever inventory change they made. I am someone who came in every other day if not everyday for a bag. but now I am going to have to find a new spot. which is kind sad because your budtender were awesome 98% of the time. please fix this i really like your store.

My husband and I are traveling from oregon, and stopped by, we were sold a joint pack called tranquil forest and was told it was $21, the only reason we got this pack was because of the price and how cheap it was since we also wanted edibles. We also got some edibles and the joint pack and the total came to over 100. The girl helping us was nice and put a discount for us which was great, but we were charged $40 for this joint pack not the 21 they told us 3 times it was. We went back in and was told they couldn’t do anything since nothing was $21 for joints and that they could discount us next time. There definitely will not be a next time. We went in to try and fix it and was told we could buy more if we were upset. No. I’m upset because I was told something would be $21 and it was 40. That’s ridiculous.

So, this is kind of hard because Ive had no problems with this place thus far. However, unfortunately, thats until recently. The reason I am giving a 4 star instead of 5 is IF YOU ORDER ONLINE, BE CAREFUL! Especially when they have specials online. DO NOT get me wrong. NOT all of their reps are bad. MAJORITY of them are good and deserve a tip!With that said, if you make a reservation online and you go in and you get the wrong customer rep, theyre going to steal from you. How, you ask? I got jacked once when I ordered the special online. When I went in, the rep who helped me charged me full price, but I totally forgot about the discount online. Im assuming they pocketed the difference. It was only after-the-fact that I realized it. Plus, I have the receipt with the rep name who did this. BUT I wont sweat that one incident. BUT for next time, I definitely will be ready, or else I will just go elsewhere smh, BUT I really like this location.

TL;DR: I have a fair amount of experience with this store. Bottom line is you can find better prices, better online experience, and better customer service very easily in the area. Simply pick any other store around. It is clean though. Lastly, I think it is pretty obvious if you look around at other platforms that their google reviews are largely fake.What a bummer. In the last couple of years, I kind of liked going here. I saw the already low reviews compared to other stores in Burien, and truth be told, you can find the same product for less cash with little effort in the same area. However, it is a tidier than normal store so I liked going here for a bit, but that has changed.To begin with, I like to do larger orders less often so I like to use the online order system and get the discount. That way I can walk in and out quickly. However, few things have been significant issues to my experience here. First, their online ordering system has been maintained extremely poorly. There are only a small fraction of offerings on there compared to the store. This wasnt always the case and it has been quite the leap off a cliff. Now, for the last several attempts, I have been unable to place an online order for ANY of the things I want, but they do have them in stock. They say they went through a transition recently with their online store, but that may buy some time as an excuse, but not if it is going on this long. After several months of the same issue, it is just management incompetence being unable to get the task completed.For a particular example last month, I couldnt find anything I wanted online so I went to the store. Of course they had everything I wanted in stock. I now had to use my points to get the same % as the online discount even though I preferred to place online anyway. I did ask for an exception due to the situation, but I was turned down. That tells me the reward system isnt much of a reward. I should be able to hold onto those points for a future purchase, not use them to because the establishments infrastructure is lacking attentiveness. Ive never had a problem at any other store in the greater Burien area in regards to this.Next, I used to be able to go straight to the online order pickup and jump the line like at other stores. They have now stopped that practice. You now have to stand in the line with everybody else. Moreover, the lines seem to be moving slower than ever now. They arent longer, just slower. Im spending way too long in the store now...waiting.Time to mosey on and find a new preferred shop I guess. Its funny, I only liked it when the online ordering system worked well, and I had minimal interaction with staff. When it doesnt, I have to interact with staff more which is bad news for the shop, because I see the staff more like the other reviews now. They seem to have extremely limited knowledge and the manager leaves a lot to be desired.

I was excited to finally find a strain I been looking for awhile, I pre-ordered it but when I got to the store they did not have what I ordered. The service wasnt great, but the replacement I got was fire. I didnt feel good about my purchase when I drove away, but the product ended up being good so I guess this place gets a pass. This was my second time coming here and both times I didnt leave with what I ordered, so I would have to say the staff is unorganized.
