Walked in and no line. I love when that happens. This place has been around since my high schools days, which speaks to its staying power. One of the few constants in this ever changing world. Still delicious and still reasonably priced. While I no longer live down the street, if I am in the area I will still visit.

Thank goodness this little gem survived Covid and all the pandemic related closings. Everyone is super friendly and the bagels are delicious. Expect a line on the weekend and come early because they sell out fast.

Havent been there in a while. Looks as though ownership changed. Maybe my opinion will change the next time I go.Im not going to hurt the business with negativity, my run there is going back to a regular basis.

Love Chesapeake. Bagel sandwiches are great, but you have to get there early most days to get the bagel of your choice! Always fresh and some of my favorite around.

Rarely have the bagels you want whether you come in early morning or mid morning, chances are what you want they’re gonna be “sold out” of. Unhelpful staff, and the actual bagels are extremely soggy and greasy not anywhere close to as good as the Arlington Chesapeake. Would avoid unless you want to waste your time

This is the BEST bagel place in the area! They have a rich, fresh variety of bagels daily and make all kinds of cream cheese and sandwiches. They have a large beverage selection as well. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The place is super clean and they gave indoor and outdoor seating. Dont be afraid of the line if you encounter one - they move it quickly and it just means they are worth it!!

Chesapeake Bagel offers a wide variety of bagels, spreads, and bagel sandwiches. Open for breakfast and lunch, you can get just about anything you can think of here if it involves a bagel.

This was an oasis in the fresh baked bagel-less Stafford. 25 miles one way. This purchase may last two weeks. They didnt have anymore of one of my choices. Worth the trip.

Just moved nearby and discovered this place. Super friendly staff and vegan cream cheese available- delicious bagels, will have to come back and try the sandwiches.

The bagels are incredible and the sandwiches spectacular... tons of choices for both. Be sure to go early if you are very particular about your favorite bagel since selection dwindles as the day wears on... that is the price of freshly baked bagels! Sandwiches are made fresh and theres a nice selection of beverages, chips and desserts. Try the specialty coffee drinks, too...

I really love this place. They have such an array of bagels and options. It takes a bit longer if you order any type of flavored coffee (like a mocha) but it’s such a nice little shop. Highly recommend.

I was crushed to have missed the bagel knots today when I got there at noon. Ive been craving these delicacies for months since I no longer live in the area. Still giving five stars since their regular bagel selection is consistently excellent.

Whether at 7AM, 10AM, or 3PM it is ridiculous for a retail business specializing in bagels to not have any product to sell. I came to pick up bagels for Christmas, they had absolutely zero stock of bagels (ZERO!). I suggest, if you shop here, call ahead to determine if they actually have bagels at the Chesapeake bagel bakery. I Will never come again.

There’s only a small number of “must visit” places in Burke, VA, and Burke Chesapeake Bagel Bakery is one of them.All their bagels are baked on site each morning and their employees are both friendly and reliable. The whole place has a warm ‘mom and pop’ kinda vibe. Due to the many renovations taking place in this area, very few shops can retain their nostalgic atmospheres. Chesapeake Bagel, however, has stood the test of time. Both the younger generation and older generation continue to come on a regular basis, a testament of their quality service, good food, and a homey ambience.

I usually go here in the morning on the days that I have to dropp my car of for service. You can eat in or outside. Its a great breakfast or lunch stop.

Sneaky pricing - posted bakers dozen price only for basic flavors like plain. If you include choc chip or jalapeño price doubles. 😠

A great place for bagels even though I doubt they go for the swim all real bagels deserve before the “Bake”. Certainly the best Bagels between Fair Oaks and the Springfield Interchange. Drive on past Einstein’s, yuk!A little too small of a seating area on weekend mornings. Take a half dozen home on Saturday mornings and dress them up with your own smear, Lox, capers and red onions all weekend long.

Best bagel sandwich Ive had. However, do not get a chicken wrap. The chicken was rubbery tough and the wrap was small (probably because they forgot to put lettuce tomato onion that they said they were going to put in). Thats what I get for ordering a wrap at a bagel shop I guess, but I cant tell why they even have it on their menu... its just a bad experience for everyone involved. Go with the classics.

This is a great little bagel deli. The staff is extremely friendly, they have a ridiculous amount of bagel choices, and loads of super tasty and interesting sandwich options. Also great for breakfast too! I find myself getting breakfast and lunch at once because they keep well on a bagel and are so good!!

Amazing bagels but slow customer service. Almost every time weve gone we have had to wait 20 min on average. Not very fast for a bagel shop, but amazing sandwiches

Love this place for many reasons, one of them being the huge amount of choices on the menu! Bagels, bagel sandwiches, paninis, wraps, an unlimited number of flavor combinations. My favorite bagels include everything (classic), blueberry and rosemary olive. They have a lot of different delicious cream cheeses too (vegetable, honey walnut, strawberry, etc.). Would recommend the Garden of Eden for something on the healthier side and just as filling/tasty. 5 stars for sure!

Bagels done right! Great selections, great sweets, usually solid service (summertime blues occasionally) Only thing missing is the iconic broccoli cheese soup... They changed the recipe and its the missing piece of my favorite bagel place! I used to look forward to that soup, its nothing to write home about now.

Easily the best bagels in Fairfax. The staff is friendly, the bagels are excellent, and there are a variety of options. Their chai tea is fantastic. If you have not tried their bagels, you are missing out. You can expect a short wait at the busier times of the morning. My only complaint is that they close sometimes.

Great beagles and other unique sandwiches....Can be busy in the mornings on Sat and Sunday. Worth the wait! Usually quiet during the week, unless moms are having a coffee clatch while their kids use the place as a playground 😡Oh they have free WiFi!

Used to be very good. Quality is slowly getting worse. The egg is the quick egg type that tastes all water. Go back to the old egg and it would be 5 stars.

Best bagle place in Northern Virginia. Everything is wonderful. Great place to sit and read the newspaper or your kindle. Music. Enjoy watching the people come and go.

I just paid 7.25 for everything bagel with cream cheese. Everywhere else it is 2.25 tops. So ridiculous. Did not taste any better either.

Love this shop! Grabbing a dozen bagels after a weekend morning run is a tradition that goes back to when I was a kid.

This place is awful at following directions and for food allergies. My husband has ordered breakfast sandwiches three separate times and he’s had to bring them home and throw away because they put egg on it despite saying no egg due to an allergy. Waste of time and money.

Bagels taste great, nice and chewy, but they really skimp on the flavorings (raisins, cranberries, etc). My raisin bagel today had literally 3 raisins in the whole bagel and could barely taste the cinnamon . They are aslo really starting to short the cream cheese. About a third of the bagel was naked when i opened it and it was just poorly spread around, there just wasnt enough. Didnt used to be this way. Never had their sandwiches so i cant comment

Its nice to have a local coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Good coffee. Coffee and bagel w cr cheese runs just under $5. WiFi from next door salon. Variety of bagel sandwiches- breakfast and lunch. My only complaint is that the recent management/staff are not outwardly friendly (not bad, just focused on job) and my orders are inconsistently good/mediocre. Tables wiped clean and floor reasonably clean at 930 Am Friday w almost every table full.

The blueberry bagels are great. The blueberry bagel with the strawberry cream cheese is my favortite. If blueberry isnt your thing they have about 45 different kinds of bagels with a wide variety of cream cheeses and coffee selections. For lunch the Burke club is exceptional. The sandwhich is really well made and the avocado is delicious. They also have grilled paninis such as the firenza, that has spinach and chicken among other vegetables and its great. Overall the shop is a cozy and comfortable environment to spend your time.

Effectively my go to bagel place. Sausage egg and cheese and Sante fe bagels are amazing.
