Lacking personality....employees way too busy with their personal social life. Zero customer service. Heard the F bomb too many times for a 20 min visit. I would have loved to purchase something but customer service was huge turn off. Wont be back.

Awesome place for finding treasures old and new. Consignment style shopping with creatively curated areas. Definitely go in and walk around. Its also not too far from the worlds tallest filing cabinet so visit that while youre out that way.

Mediocre quality vintage furniture and accoutrements with Manhattan prices. Some unique and fun finds for sure, but the prices dissuade the reasonable shopper. Come on folks, make a positive difference here!

Great vintage shop! Very nice owners, you never know what fun items you may find here. Highly recommend it if you are into retro furnishings and decor. There is also a small classic comic book/toy niche.

Fun vintage and antique spot.Rarely does the word fun come to mind when visiting an antique store. Maybe something like musty or rustic but rarely fun. Not the case for Barge Canal which carries a lot of great items and combines that with a lively atmosphere and great staff. This is a must-visit for anyone who has never been and loves antiques and mid-century goods.

I enjoy how the store is arranged by theme and time period. For example, in one corner of the store you might find a complete living room set with all 1950s vintage accoutrements, in another corner you might find a different scene altogether. They have something for everyone and the staff are lovely!

Great finds and very helpful service. Found a sweet reconditioned 1940s liquor cabinet - sandblasted and sanded, sweet sets of mid century modern glassware that match, and a couch for the porch. All great stuff. They even delivered the couch for free because I live close.

Barge Canal Market agreed to buy a piece of furniture from us on July 6. On July 10, they said they would be out-of-town for 10 days. On July 24th, eighteen days after our initial agreement and 2 days before our move, they told us they would be out of town again, through the date of our move, and that the piece would not fit in their van anyway. They made an agreement with us, and left us holding the bag with a valuable piece of furniture that we no longer have any opportunity to sell.
