I purchased a used boat from Action Marine on 8/24/21. Keith was great to work with. Super nice, answered all my questions, and brought me to talk with the tech who did the initial inspection. I never at any time felt pressured. I will definitely keep them in mind for future purchases. Thanks!

We rented a boat this past week from Action Marine and I cant say enough good things about them! They had a great price, excellent service, boat worked perfectly the whole week. They were prompt and friendly and if we ever need to rent a boat in that area again, you can bet we will be calling Action Marine first!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. We rented a boat for a weekend and within the first 2 hours the engine exploded! We immediately turned off the boat and called action marine. They answered and said they would call mechanics and call us back to let us know what was going on. THEY NEVER CALLED US. We must’ve called them 10 times trying to get more info and then when we drifted so much we were going to hit a dock and a family had to help us and tie us up because we were floating and leaking out an insane amount of gas for 2 hours! Then we wanted to call action marine and give them the address of the house we drifted into so they can tell the mechanics & they said Julie would call me back in 5 minutes. She never did and they were closed for the weekend. Nobody reached out. We finally called lake police to tow us back home and that’s when the mechanics found us and they said Julie gave them the wrong number! They said they tried calling and couldn’t get us. We were also told by the mechanics that that engine was never supposed to be on a boat that big. Then we were promised we were going to get a new boat by that night or the next morning. That never happened either and action marine never called. Make sure you have an emergency contact if you rent from them because they will be zero help
Weve used Action Marine for boat winterization and storage. We sold a boat on consignment through them last year. Very excited they are now doing pier installation and did a wonderful job getting our piers in this year.
Attempted to schedule an appointment to inspect and buy a boat they had listed online feb 20, then mar 6th. Also messaged online several times. Kept being told I would get informed as soon as it was available. I called again today found out it Sold without ever being notified. Keith is not a man of his word. I dont care if it was a $1500 boat.

Always have boat taken care of at end of year. Have not had any problems in 18 years with the boat or motor. Highly recommend

We traveled there from Michigan to purchase a pontoon boat which was held on consignment. After getting lost a couple of times trying to find the address, we finally arrived later than expected. Keith waited for us and was extremely gracious in helping us to purchase the boat, even making his wife wait to go out to dinner. Due to circumstances surrounding the owner of the boat and the fact that it was only with Action Marine on consignment, a lot of hoops had to be jumped through to get the title to the boat and trailer. Keith has gone above and beyond to make this purchase happen even though he has made little to no money on the deal, helping a person in need sell a boat. The staff were kind and courteous and we highly recommend them for all your boating needs.

Action Marine quickly diagnosed my Yamaha 4 stroke outboard. They got it fixed very quickly and for minimal fees. I will not hesitate to use them again when the time comes.
Called about viewing an item advertised. Gave a time within there posted hours. No one there when I arrived. Spoke with parts person who was pleasant and helpful. Took my info for contact. 4 days later, no contact. Sale lost. To bad.

Honestly, I could not have had a better experience than I did with Action Marine. I normally do not write reviews but felt compelled to do so.For starters, my 2007 Mastercraft had serious engine trouble the Friday of Country Thunder weekend, which is obviously a very busy weekend. Within a couple hours of placing a call to Action, Chris, one of their Mastercraft certified mechanics came to inspect the boat at my house. Since it was not a simple fix, they towed it to their Burlington facility, ordered the parts and had it fixed in a matter of days. Considering the fact that I had never worked with them before, the time of year and the fact that the place I bought the boat from did not even return my call, I could not be happier.Julie, the owner, and Amy are rock stars as well. They simply deliver on what they promise and seem to genuinely care about their clients.Action was won my business for years to come. If you have not already, give them a try.
Please make sure to do your research before doing business with Action Marine Inc. I wish my husband would have done the research because we would never have come here for our boat repairs. They completed unauthorized repairs on our boat (it was supposed to be around $400-500 and it ended up being over $1,000). In addition, my father-in-law had a boat estimate for $495.06 which he consented but when he got his final invoice after the repair were completed he was billed for $1,088.39. We arent the first that this has happened to; take a look at Action Marines other customer reviews as you will see theres a clear pattern here. In addition, their Better Business Bureau rating is a C which is good indicator of what type of business you are dealing with. This has been the worst customer service Ive ever experienced and will make sure all of my friends and family who own a boat know about what type of company this is.
The staff are really nice and helpful. They definitely went out of their way to make sure my stuff was taken care of and I was very satisfied with their work. Such a great place to do business all around!!!

My boat was repaired quickly and correctly which was great. People are friendly and seem knowledgeable. I have two issues. 1. They charged me $10 for shop towels. How stupid is that? 2. They charged me an hours labor ($115) to diagnose a problem that took less than 5 minutes to identify. Strictly an invoice builder, and just not the right thing to do. Happy to have the boat back so quickly, but disappointed for being bent over. Unfortunately, Will not recommend or return.
Had my boat last winter to fix RPM problem and faulty horn, warranty. Didnt fix the horn, installed the prop wrong (really). Then smashed into the toon, punctuated it and had to have it welded. My pontoon is only 2 years old, with a big dent into the back of the toon.
Super disappointed at the overall experience. Nice people but they seem very disorganized. Called me last week to tell me my boat was ready and showed up in the dash is still torn apart. Paid to have it winterized and wrapped. Drove by their yard early March and saw it sitting outside unwrapped. They promised they would clean it up and it doesnt even look vacuumed

Purchased a boat and trailer in February 2020 then informs me they don’t have the title for the trailer and can’t get ahold of the previous owners, messy business practice.
Customer service? They dont know what the words mean. They make a ton of money off of my storage, but are too busy to summarise and launch. Ive used them before but this is the last time. Twin Lakes Marine has the same prices and twice the CUSTOMER SERVICE! NEVER AGAIN!
Ive always had a great time with the rentals and have had the same solid experiences with storage. theyve went the extra mile by even taking time out to deliver life vests when I forgot the extras .. Thats quality and 5 star businesd
