We loved this coffee shop! The iced lattes we ordered tasted so good! My husband got while milk and I got oat milk and we were both very happy with our choices in comparison to other coffee we tried in the area. The atmosphere is eclectic and a bit small but worth stopping in for the coffee at least!

Muddy Waters has always been such an amazing local coffee shop and we missed it terribly during quarantine but it’s back and with a fun new twist- it’s full of quarantine monsters!!! You have to go just for the art installations. There have been 3 monsters out front for a while but there must be around 10more unique monsters inside!Additionally, Muddy’s is still serving some delicious coffee, lattes, and espresso drinks as well as a range of unique and delicious looking pastries, breads, and bagels. The bagels are always really fresh and not too chewy (you HAVE to try the spinach and everything bagels). LGBTQ friendly, local, and with so many delicious options, Muddy Waters is a Burlington cafe you need to stop by whether you are a local or just visiting!

The coffee shop has a great vibe and interior. staff is friendly. rating it 3 stars as there is no wi-fi (was surprised as most shops do) i normally don’t care but i am a traveler passing through and needed to get work done this day. they have a good tea selection but it’s only by the pot.

Great, quirky coffee shop just off of Church Street. Large selection of coffee, tea, and other drinks (smoothies, shakes, etc.). They always have an eclectic collection of music playing. They also have a good mix of breakfast items. Interior might be even better as it feels like a trippy log cabin/treehouse!

Generally perfect. Wonderdul atmosphere, homey and comfortable. Good snacks at the front, excellent beverages. A little chilly for my tastes, but nothing a good pair of socks and a hot drink cant cure. This has been one of my favorite spots in town for over 10 years now, and I cant imagine Burlington without it.

Why’s it called “Muddy Waters?” Probably because the coffee tastes like mud. Worst cappuccino in Burlington. You can do much better elsewhere (Onyx Tonics, Kru, etc).

The sign says your open, online says your open, but the rude barista says go away as she cracks jokes about it as we are walking away. Either she was rude and just want to leave early or management is lacking putting their employees out in the dry.

The place was cool but the wait was way too long to get our coffee and food. I think they need more help behind the counter. The cappuccino was good along with the vegan chili. It’s not the biggest place so we were lucky to find seating, I can’t say I was comfortable with our seats being that it was in the Isle where people had to pass to go get their coffee. The bathrooms are super small. I love all the plants in here and they have some board games. I will definitely give it another try. I’m always looking for good coffee shops since moving here from N.Y.C.

This coffee shop has an amazing atmosphere, unique to Burlington. Almost everything inside is made out of wood and nicely lit. Their coffee and smoothies are amazing and well priced and for a small place, their menu is very expansive. The only downside to this coffee shop is that it isnt very big so at peak hours, you may not fund an empty seat and also it is easy to miss if you didnt know it was there.

Love the coffee, but i just got the worst attitude from an employee. She told me my coffee being incorrect was not her fault, and that my friend didnt know how to order. I was literally blown away. I was so polite, and called just to get my coffee fixed and she was so unprofessional. What happened to the customers always right? If Im gonna pay $5 for a small coffee...id like it to at least be correct.
