The owner, Dave, spotted me a significant amount of money when he noticed my card was not working. Cannot say how gracious this mans gesture was, and really made a rough day better. Hope everyone supports this amazing small business!

Super rude; customer service is trash

DO NOT GO! My son who is 2 wanted to pee was denied to go to the restroom???? Because the male who was there said the station is not available to the public. I interjected and said its not for me its for my kid and he repeated his statement. I left the store and said you will NEVER get my business. I live close by why not get recurring revenue for the next 50+ years as oppose to now.. nothing from my family and now friends. I guess he doesnt think long term.

Wow. Over the years when pizza has been old at a convenience store almost all places offer the old slices at a discount. The pizza here was brick-hard, and looked like it had been left out overnight, you know, with the cheese gelling. Still edible, but not worth full price. I started to ask the girl behind the counter, Do you discount pizza if-? She rudely cuts me off before I could even finish. She said her name was Jillian, young girl, looks and acts like shes 12. Then she accuses me of trying to tell her how to do her job when I told her the pizza is probably ready to be thrown out. Very argumentative and disrespectful towards anybody, let alone towards a customer. All this and she never even went over to see how old the pizza was. She wanted to keep arguing but I left and bought food elsewhere. Corporate or the owner needs to send a secret shopper in there to catch her in the act. I bet theyve lost a lot of business because of her.

Overpriced products

They don’t answer the phone and are generally rude when in the store

Just walk the extra block-and-half to City Market if you need to grab a jug of milk, some ice cream or beer. Murder Mart as its known locally is not worth your time or money. Everythings wildly overpriced compared to nearby convenience stores and the employees are AWFUL.

For a murdermart, it is not that bad. Has smokes, but limited beer options

Dont wear a baggy hoodie. Theyll accuse you of stealing. I was accused of stealing a slimjim... Im a vegetarian and all of the restaurants close to the gas station know this. To top the cherry off, one of the employees grabbed my wrist and told me to put said slimjim back. Thats assault. I guess this has station is exempt from the laws. The manager condones the behavior of these rude people. There are SOME employees who are not like this. Whats the point in having a 24 hr gas station to accuse everyone of stealing and kicking them out. Grabbing shoppers, is assault. Accusing someone of stealing with evidence is deflemating character. It even says in their hand book to report incidents to the police. They choose to be a liability to themselves as the manager allows it.

Extremely rude employees who dont say a word to you, sleazy/seedy atmosphere and its not called Murder Mart for nothin ! Worst business in Burlington :avoid like the plague!
