My garage door was 29 years old. was looking to replace it, and use the new door in conjunction with the current operator. It was recommended by my friends to simply buy a door from Home Depot and install it myself. I decided to have a garage door company provide a quotation and compare the numbers. When Neil from Middlesex Overhead Doors first looked at my needs, he was initially reluctant to even provide me with a quote because of the complexity involved because of the houses configuration and construction. However, in the end he did provide me with a quotation which I thought was very reasonable. After my meeting with Neil, I was very confident that Middlesex Overhead Doors could do the job. I decided to go with Middlesex. Once the custom-made door was fabricated, Eric from Middlesex came in and meticulously installed the door in a day. He obviously had vast experience in this area, and was very respectful. He did encounter a few problems due to the house itself, particularly associated with the size of the opening and siding. However, he was patient and persevered. We are very pleased with the door. We definitely made the right decision in hiring Middlesex Overhead Doors. We highly recommended them.

I have used Middlesex Overhead Doors in the past to replace my springs. Their work was very professional back then so when I needed new motors for my garage doors, I call them back. The sales person, Shirley, was very pleasant to talk to and offered a few choices with one that she recommended. I took her recommendation and set up a day to have the new motors installed. The installation was another professional job and the man who installed them went over the features with me after the installation. We got new doors for our two-car garage this summer, and were quite happy with how they turned out. The installation was a tricky one due to the low ceiling in our garage, an uneven floor, and some issues with how the previous doors were installed, but they did a good job and the resulting doors look and work great. Also, we got several quotes before going with Middlesex, and theirs was definitely the best value for the types of doors that we wanted. So, I would definitely recommend Middlesex Overhead Doors.
