Having a golf shop close is always a plus. Having a family run business that treats you like theyve known you for your entire life is even better. The entire Hunt family are always helpful and very cordial to their customer base, whether youre a first timer or a frequent flyer. This is a class act business all the way around. Great services, plenty of inventory to choose from(new and used), and knowledge to handle anything you need. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a smaller golf shop that doesnt have the corporate chain feel. Thank you, Hunt family, for being good people with a knack for helping the game!

Went in to get a 3 wood re-gripped. Was helped right away. Very friendly staff! I was in and out in 15 min and that’s because I switched out a driver head cover for 3 wood one so we had to find one that would work. Prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back.

Paul does a great job assisting you with whatever your reason is for going into his store. He treats your clubs like they were his own. If he is busy, his daughter Sarah is more than capable of helping you with your needs. I get all my work done by Paul or Sarah!

So I was in search of getting my Scotty Cameron putter weights changed out from the factory 15g, knowing I will keep the 20g weights and I was referred to go see Paul. Paul was eager to help on such a simple procedure, being he had the tool it requires, and refused accepting any pay for it. Shortly after putting on his putting pad for a few minutes, large indoor green, I decided to have him install the Super Stroke grip. When asking him if he carried them, instead of piling out grips and throwing them in front of me encouraging me to confirm the purchase and install of one, he simply asks, what is your grip like while putting and how do you position the putter, basically seeking information about what is going to fit me the best. Needless to say, I left his shop later with all new grips for my irons, that are the best for me, and a new putter grip that is the most comfortable for me, and all for a lot less of the price a big box store, or pro shop at the course would charge. Im beyond happy with my visit and I would recommend Hunt Golf store above any other!

Not a good vibe from this place. Watch your wallet, may be charged for air breathed while in store. I came in looking for a 65 gram stiff shaft for my driver and was shown a very limited selection. The owner tried to sell me a shop worn shaft from a maker Ive never heard of for $69. I ask if thats installed, he said Noooo, and pointed at a large sign overhead. The long list of charges made me feel like my car broke down out of town and I was dealing with an unfamiliar garage. The sign does say dumb looks are free. By the the time all the charges were added my total was well over $100. I asked if he could do any better, he smugly refused. I wanted a new shaft but was not really pleased with the shaft, price, or the service. Before I left I offered $80 and was told, thankfully, thanks but no thanks.I went 8/13/17 to Tee to Green in Eden. Walked in an hour and a half before they closed. Jerry listened to what I wanted, showed me a great selection of NEW shafts and I walked out about an hour later with a new shaft and grip. The Fujikura shaft was $69 installed and the grip brought my total to $78. I only live six miles from Mebane,but who do you think Ill go to in the future.Mike GriffinGraham,NC
