Literally my home away from home. The store is immaculate, staff is present, welcoming and genuinely interested in helping you. Great selection of items that are easy to find and wonderful atmosphere. You can tell they take pride in their store, and to be honest, I do as well.

Hard to find this level of quality in a grocery store any more. Haggens has an outstanding deli, produce, bakery, and meat section, and they sell salmon scraps for crab bait. Best donuts, baguettes and French loaves of any grocery chain by a long shot because they still make their stuff fresh in-store instead of baking in a central location, freezing it, and shipping to the stores the next day. Every time I am up in Skagit County I visit this one or the one on Division St in Mount Vernon. Highly recommended!

The pharmacist older woman is so judging and rude, like a bully. Will never shop there again and if you have a problem with this women be sure to report her to management. Thank you for your help.

The grocery part is great, but unfortunately the woman pharmacist comes across, inconvenienced and annoyed when interacting with consumers. My disabled Uncle was a loyal customer of this location, both with shopping and filling prescriptions. But due to this one womans inability to be courteous to the people she provides a service for, he is no longer able to shop at this establishment. Every time he had to interact with this person, (whether it be in person or over the phone), he would get so anxious that he would often end up having a panic attack. Yes, that sounds extreme, but anyone who works with vulnerable populations, (such as her WOULD know), that you need to be kind, understanding, respectful and patient. But that really should be standard practice and common sense, as well as be extended to all people. Just because you hold a gatekeeper position for people in need, doesnt mean you are any less human than the rest of us. I believe preschool taught us all, Treat others the way you wish to be treated. If my 4 year old son can uphold that virtue, than I have faith that a well educated woman of her age is able to do the same.

I love the convenience of having a neighborhood Haggens Grocery store. This particular one is an easy on/off the main freeway.

Kudos to your fresh meat department! They sold me Mediterranean Beef Kabobs, grilled 5” turn 5” and done on a bed of instant mashed….quick cool in this heat, tender and excellent!!

Albertsons has purchased the store. You cannot get ice in your water....wait you have no machine for carry out drinks. No water, a water fountain. No ice machine for the customers. Taking away a piece of community in the little eating area. Shame on the BLUE SHIRTS of Albertson just to save a buck!

We usually shop somewhere else but lately havent been able to find everything on our list at the other store, so we end up here getting the items I cant find elsewhere.

First time visiting this store and I am hooked. The employees were very helpful and friendly. The bakery and produce sections had amazing selections ... fresh and reasonably priced. I encountered 4 staff when I quickly went in to buy some snacks. I dont regularly shop here. Three of the four staff were polite and helpful. But the fourth. Having a staff person yell at me from across an area that I HAVE to go over there to pay as you wipe down tables, not even saying hi first. Acting like Im a first grader that is out of bounds on recess. No. Just stop being rude to customers. Take ten seconds to be courteous. I work in a grocery store so I get that its stressful, but simple kindness is low hanging fruit when it comes to customer service.

This is a no hassle super market. You can walk into the store, shop, then check out. You can do this without being shoved, stepped on, or having to put up with rude people. When you leave, you feel good, and not like you have jest ran a 25 k race.

This is a review on the pharmacy and not the grocery store itself. I happened to see a review on the same subject and reminded me of my experience years ago. One of the ladies who was usually working the front counter was very rude and made me nervous as if I was at the dmv. A person working in customer service, especially when it comes to medical care, should be the opposite.

Tonight was a good night. Been craving Chinese food for weeks. Stopped into Haggens in Burlington and checked to see what they had. Wow, struck gold...they had sweet n sour chicken and sweet n sour pork to go along with the chow main. Bought enough for 4 more meals.

Always clean. Helpful employees. Good place to find specialty items.Very good deli.

I cant afford to shop here all the time, but I do like the place. Their deli is superior to every other grocery deli Ive tried. Youve got to try their fried chicken... its awesome. I love their 10 leg deal for $6. Pair that with old fashioned potato salad (darn close to being as good as moms).Ive never had to wait in a long line to pay and the employees are always friendly.

While they have good produce and meat departments they are more expensive than most any other store.

I like the Haggen Market...Ive been going to them for years, when the Haggen family owned the market..some people say their prices are too high, I dont mind paying a little extra for the convenience of shopping in a stress free store, variety of items to pick from, going the extra in customer service, just great quality and service...very easy to get in and leave the store..nice and clean, well stocked..

Store was clean throughout, produce and meat looked fresh. They had a lot of items grown or made locally. Bakery items I got were fresh and they have a great Beer selection. You do need a club card for the discount price’s but if you are from out of town like I was they have a guest card so no need to sign up.

Clean store. Prices are higher then the competition. My suggestion would be use the deli and bakery for those special occasions but dont shop for your everdays if money is tight. Store personnel are nice. No complaints about the store its just a little spendy. Recommend the potato salad for events.

The location on 36th near WWU is in transition. I see a lot of Safeway influence. The meat department appears to be all self serve now (by that I mean all prepackaged and pre cut items). Not the same, its lost of bit of the quality feel of the old school Haggens.

Our clerk wasn’t having a good day. She dropped our popsicles into the bag. Breaking ONLY half of them. I said to my wife: “she’s dropping them in like they’re basketballs”. When she gave my wife our receipt. She snidely replies: “have a great one”.

Their sandwiches are the best, love the choices of bread they have and their staff is friendly. Also appreciate them cleaning the cafeteria tables during COVID. Thank you

This is an edit of my 5 star review, the cashier is one of the last people you see when leaving your store so the experience must be good. Well not today as the cashier rang my groceries up and bagged them he toss it into my cart and spilt my sons Chinese food that I just paid for and put my sushi on its side so everything is all over my bag, when I told the cashier (Brent) he is an older guy not to do that he just said thanks and you can leave now how f@#& rude is that. I will never bring my business here again.

Haggen is the Publix of the northwest. Great presentation of produce and more. Many choices of brands and diet options from vegan and organic to full sugar and fat (like bakery items to drool over).

Needed special birthday cupcakesangst they came through. Well laid put, acetone naked and aisles one way. Felt as safe as possible. Everyones so helpful. Found some cookies that have flamed the cookies of the candles! I love their specialty stuff especially. Plus a healthy lunch.

Great local grocery store. Plenty of healthy food choices, very large pharmacy, a healthy liquor section and lots of ice cream.

Big store, big prices for smaller packages items, that one can get same product bigger packages lesser price.
