We are new to the area and took a chance schoolhouse ice cream. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered small size; which was huge! The variety was overwelming; in a good way, and they gave us a doggy treat for TicTac!!!🍨💕😍🐕

GREAT SERVICE, ICE CREAM, AND EXPERIENCE!I visited Schoolhouse, Burlington, for the first time today. Its humbling appearance and old school charm instantly evoked nostalgic warmth. Inside the shop, I was greeted by a polite and friendly employe, eager to serve me. She described flavors, made adequate small talk, and gave ample (but not overpowering) servings. I had Oreo, coconut Oreo, and triple chocolate cookie. The ice cream was superb, but the service quality and excellent atmosphere is what sets this quaint establishment apart from its competitors.

We come here all the time because its a fun place to take the kids. A majority of the time, there is television and Disney movies on. And the ice cream is delectably delicious!!!! The caramel cheesecake is my personal favorite.

School House consistently serves great ice cream with large portions that they make in house. The service is excellent always and it is spotless. Schoolhouse Ice Cream makes the best frappes I have ever had. Has a unique mom and pop ice cream shop atmosphere. The staff always go above and beyond to give the best service. A true asset to the Burlington community. You will not be let down, and you sure will want to return.

Love this place. The homemade flavors are incredible. The staff is awesome!! They put up with myself and 10 year old coming in 5 minutes before they close 3 times in the past 2 weeks.

Went here with another couple after dinner We all had different flavors. Everyone loved what they chose, unbelievably good, creamy, delicious. My usual go to ice cream and my favorite, is one thats also local---- begins with a Big R. I wont mention the name. this place is just as good. As a matter of fact the Almond Joy was better, just fantastic. I will be there again many times!

Due to covid. We were unable to taste other flavors. However, from the 4 flavors that we got, i like the chocolate flavor the most. The other flavor i liked was choco chip. Chocolate dip waffles were average. Huge quantity ofcourse, of scoops. Staff is great and polite. Giving it 4 stars just because i didnt find the ice cream too extraordinary. I might have selected the wrong flavors. The other 2 flavors were pistachio and coconut.

Tried Schoolhouse as its closer than Kimballs for a frappe. Frappe was more expensive ($8.25) than Kimball and was made mostly of milk. Very poor experience - will not be coming back.

Recently discovered this fabulous place! My clients were purchasing a home in the neighborhood and mentioned that the kids liked it. I went in for gift cards as a closing gift for the kids and couldnt resist trying it myself.The service was great, friendly & helpful. The ice cream is some of the best Ive had. Prices are reasonable and the portions are just right, not skimpy but not so big as to be ridiculous.

I really wanted to like this charming place. But I didnt like their ice cream. They had weird after taste. The sandwich was disappointing. So was their chowder.

I dont give 5 stars too often, but its hard for me to pass by this place and not go in for an ice cream cone. You can even get a sandwich and soup here. I get the kiddie size ice cream. Its supposed to be the smallest. If thats the smallest size, Id like to see the biggest! Im afraid to find out. I pick a booth and sit down; I fake reading my book so no one will think I went in there just to devour the White Mountains!I do believe the ice cream is made on the premises. I get Burlington Heath Bar, and boy is it ever good. You have to go there. In the summer, you can wait in a long line, but its well worth the trip. I went there today, to my favorite booth. I brought my book in to read it.

My 5 year old needed to use the restroom as we were eating our ice cream and we were told she couldnt use it. She was doing a pee dance to keep from urinating on their floor. They told me we could drive down tbe street and try CVS. So your restaurants bathroom cant be used because of covid, but CVS is fine? The other people in line were horrifed as well. We will never return.

Great, personable, efficient, knowledgeable service! Highly recommend! I was only in the area because my boyfriend had a meeting in the area. Went to eat at the mall- decided I wanted ice cream. Knew of cold stone from past experiences, so trusted Id like their ice cream. Went there- and there was (barely) 4.5 flavors. Apparently the delivery truck didnt make its weekend delivery? (Mind you today is Monday- idk how they went through 10-15+ flavors... But I am grateful that cold stone had a screw up. Now I can come to Schoolhouse everytime Im in the area!

It seemed that there was one very small scoop of icecream under a mound of hot fudge all over a very hard brownie. I didnt know that icecream could be bad but I couldnt eat it because there was so much fudge. There wasnt even enough melted icecream to soften the brownie. It was a waste of $12

Really great ice cream. Nice selection of toppings. Seating was a little strange. Very low to the ground in the booth we sat in but definitely not a huge deal. Good sweet treats. Good price.

Excellent variety, homemade waffle cones, friendly service, safe practices during covid, they even called out someone in line to cover their nose with the facemask. Outdoor seating, ample parking, open late.

This place is great. Id knock off a star for not having more dairy free options but hey, its an ice cream place. So grateful this place exists. Its impossible to find local yogurt and ice cream places, especially year round. They also serve soup and sandwiches!

The shop is located in a strip mall and so can be overlooked. However, the ice cream is as good as that at some of the areas famous ice cream stands. They offer a good variety of toppings, etc. There is a regular food menu also. Trivia facts and other interesting items make for a fun décor.

The staff at Schoolhouse are all very nice and the ice cream portion is often huge. Definitely stop by in the summer since their ice cream variety doubles. They also serve sandwiches til 5 PM however they are often a hit-or-miss.

Ice cream was delicious, but it was very expensive! Also a bit challenging to read the menu if it is a first visit to see the prices of the ice cream. But it was very good creamy ice cream, and it looked like a great deal for a lunch combo, as the meal appears to come with complimentary ice cream. In short - would go back for lunch/ice cream, but doubt we would go back for ice cream alone.

Ice cream here is so good but my kids kiddie cone was more like an adults medium which is common at ice cream shops but nevertheless annoying. Cute atmosphere (LOVE the facts in the wall), water cooler in the dining area and bathrooms (both very necessary).

This place is the best ice cream in burlington. I have tried many ice cream shops but this place has the flavors you are looking for. I have never tried it but they also serve lunch foods which I am sure are just as delicious as their ice cream.

The frozen yogurt is excellent but I really miss the triple chocolate chip frozen yogurt you would never even know that it is frozen yogurt its that good
