I have been to this amazing place a total of four times, and in my many years of going to the big guitars shops like Music & Arts and Guitar Center, I have never felt more welcomed and respected! This place has been an absolute dream! I have given my two electrics to the shop owner, and he fixed up my guitars so quickly AND told me what was needed to be fixed. He explained what caused the problems I had and recommended so many things. It’s nice to have my guitars fixed, but it’s even BETTER to learn about how to make your guitar better for the future. I will continue to come to this store for all my guitar needs. I look forward to buying a guitar there as well! His knowledge is what will continue to bring me to his store!

Nice smallish shop that has been in Burlington for years and has a good reputation. I like the shop and the owner. If Im looking for a new or used guitar I would definitely stop by there.

I was only there for a few minutes but this those minutes were filled with information tray trade of ideas and helpful information I know Ill go back

Just had my first interaction with Shomaker Guitars and it DEFINITLEY wont be my last. Dropped off an early 80s acoustic guitar with a broken saddle and a mid-2000s MusicMan Bass that was having electronics problems. Kim had my Bass back up and running like new and replaced the saddle on the Acoustic in less than two days. On top of that, he did a full set-up on the acoustic, polished the frets, and adjusted the neck all for less than I expected to pay for the Bass Electronics repair by itself. That guitar feels, looks, and plays better than it has since I got it in 2002. The Bass sounds phenomenal now. I used to hate the middle position on the pickup because it would either buzz like crazy or drop out entirely. Now, its my favorite setting!I dont know if youll see this, Kim, but you just earned a repair customer for life!

I randomly stopped in when driving by ... its a tight space, probably 20 guitars total, 10+ amps.Place seemed cluttered. It was hard to figure out how they differed from ye ol pawn shop ... Until I started chatting with the owner. You can tell that dude loves his guitars.I dont quite understand how this shop fits into the guitar niche ... but thats okay. Im glad I stopped in.

Excellent service. Went in for a broken guitar string. Replaced all the strings and finished it for a very reasonable price. Also helped advise of anything else I would need as an extremely new player. Would recommend to everyone

Great guys who know a lot about guitars, what could go wrong? Kim gave my strat a long overdue setup and it hasnt sounded this good in years. Fair price and they stand behind their work. I know where Im taking my guitars from now on.
