Been using Culligan since 2004. Never had an issue until their last visit.They came to my house for bi-yearly maintenance and charged me $11 a bag for salt. Double the amount that I pay for it at Sams Club, Agway or Lowes. Not interested in giving me a fair competitive price, saying it was that price because of a delivery charge. The driver was already at my house to do maintenance on the main unit and the ultraviolet light, so I had to pay TWO service charges. So charging me $11 a bag and saying it is a delivery charge is a rip off.

I have been using Culligan ever since we bought our house 35 years ago. we did try another type for a couple of months but it did not work so we shouted Hey Culligan Man and had our second system installed. Then in 2004 when Hurricane Ivan stopped in for a visit we had to replace that unit which we had ten years and when they came to repair it we found out they could not get parts because they quit making that model. That is when we went to this rental unit we have now. Service on this one has been good and I dont have to get my grandson to carry salt for me.
