I highly recommend this company! I purchased a sewing machine from here this week, and the staff were very accommodating. The brand and style I have been looking for was hard to locate and the ladies at Northern Hearth Quilting and Sewing were extremely helpful! I do not reside in Cadillac, so we had to do everything over the phone. Sally and Sherry originally answered my phone call and were patient in looking up and locating this machine. Sally took my information and spoke to Julie, the owner, who made arrangements for this to be ordered. They were prompt in calling me back, and put the order in immediately. Julie spoke to me personally over the phone, making sure my questions were answered, set up a customer profile, and allowed me to fulfill this purchase right away. Afterward, she sent me a confirmation email to let me know things were set. I am highly satisfied with the respectfulness, patience, and knowledge of this company. Go to them for any of your future sewing needs and you won’t be disappointed!

Living so far away from this shop, they were having a class which was pretty pricey and factoring in the fact that it is a 1 1/2 hr. drive one way; making the cost of taking the class way too expensive; they refused to sell the pattern for the class if we were not taking the class. I went on line and purchased the pattern elsewhere. Staff is rude and disrespectful. When waiting on a friend of mine who was standing at the cash register and ready to check out, someone entered the store and asked a question and rather than telling that person they would be waited on as soon as she checked my friend out, she walked away from the cash register and left my friend standing while she helped the other person who came into the store. We will not be back and we will not recommend this shop to anyone else. They effectively lost 3 customers and potentially many more who we share our experiences with.

My first time visiting your store. Stood at the counter for over 5 minutes with no one acknowledging me and no one available to help at the register. I left my item on the counter and left without purchasing anything.
