I love Rediscovered books! The staff here are always so kind and helpful. I do miss the cats but the stores new board game area is super neat. I look forward to my next visit. (Edit- After seeing other reviews about the stores COVID policies I would like to add that I am glad that they have had them in place. I enjoy shopping in a store that is safe and remembers to care about the community.)

Neat little bookstore with some cute gift items too! They even had some games and puzzles! I felt some of the prices were a little high, but Im also use to shopping on Amazon for my books... so my idea of pricing is probably not fully accurate haha. I would say for the experience its worth the price either way. All my kids found something they loved and wanted - 5 kids, ages 2-14. I found 12 vintage books I collect at a really good price too. The vault was really cool to see! And lets not forget the cats - they were so sweet and let us love on them while they took their afternoon nap! We had fun and Im happy with my purchase, so we will definitley return!

This bookstore is a hidden gem! The staff are friendly, welcoming, and informative. I loved all of the amazing book recommendations including the employee reviews on books. The book clubs offered are amazing and what we need here to grow as a community. The cats are an added plus! Everything about this place is amazing and a must see!

Went in for the first time today. Looked like a cool little store until I was told I had to wear a mask. I understand it’s every business’s right, but it still sucks. I’ll wait until everything goes back to normal to check it out again.

What a wonderful bookstore! We went tonight with the Vallivue School district and the staff was so helpful and welcoming to all students. My kiddo score 7 new books and is a happy camper! Thank you again not only to Rediscovered Books but also to Vallivue!

I can never resist a bookstore! We were in Boise and came across this gem downtown. They offer both new and used books.We were instantly greeted by a lovely lady as we walked in- my sister in law had only intended to buy “my Grandmother told me to tell you she’s sorry” by Fredrik Blackman, and we both walked out with two books each!I’m sorry I can’t remember the salesperson’s name, but based on what we liked, she suggested All The Lonely People, by Mike Gayle, which we both bought, and I also bought The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah-I love to shop local wherever I am and whenever I can- I always appreciate the effort and the extra service that is usually offered because they are passionate about what they are doing. And this is certainly the case at Rediscovered Books.

Big, well-organized, excel staff and selection. Loved it! Only thing I would like more is a slightly larger number of popular books, so we wouldnt be out of luck when it comes to getting an entire series.

I have ordered books online from Rediscovered Books all year. It’s easy and convenient. Their selection is great, I like the choice between new and used. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Loved the store, but very, very mask crazy. I do recommend, but after COVID and masks are gone. They have a great selection, but you cannot pull the mask down to breathe once:(

The new Caldwell location of Rediscovered Books is great! The staff are helpful and the selection is great. The building must have been a bank because there is a super cool vault in the back. Its also right next to the Caldwell ice ribbon.

I was in there recently and was impressed with the friendliness of the booksellers and their knowledge.

Awesome prices. It’s a good place to honestly rediscover old books and classics. They also have two cats that wander around the store and, not to be dramatic, I would die for those cats.

Kicked me out for open carrying not a big deal but they were rude. Also do not carry any books about nursing, so bad for college.

We were referred to this bookstore today and Im so glad I went! It is the most lovely store with so much more in stock than I was expecting. The sweet women working there are so helpful and happy to order for you if they dont have what youre looking for! I recommend this store 100%! My little ones loved it too!

My husband and I got hot coco from Flying M across the street and walked over to spend our evening browsing the book selection at Rediscovered Books with the intention of supporting local businesses. We were no more than 3 feet inside the building when we were “greeted” by a woman asking if we had masks. We replied that yes we did but that we had just bought our drinks. She told us it didn’t matter and that if we wanted our drinks we could go drink them outside in the freezing cold weather. We told her we’d spend our dollars elsewhere and left immediately. Her attitude was abrasive, harsh, and rude. I will never step foot in your store again since that’s how you “welcome” your customers. Canyon county has no mandate requiring masks and even if they did her behavior was disgusting and uncalled for.

This bookstore offers new and used copies of all different genres. Prices are reasonable, and the store is in a convenient location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely shop here again!

We were very disappointed because we were turned away from entering because we cannot wear masks. 1 due to a medical issue and 2 due to age. I will not support a business who discriminates like this and offered no suitable accommodations.
