ALDI is hit or miss either u like them or u hate them. There selection needs to improve. . What they do have is ok . And its a reasonable price.

This place is amazing. I love coming here. It’s small but I can usually find everything I need. And it’s fresh. The prices are amazing and the staff are so friendly.

WOW! First time shopper, but my experience in the deli, and bakery was memorable.

Very clean, bigger than some others, and able to find items where some other aldi stores dont have in stock. Very friendly employees as well. Its always busy but line moves fast.

I always enjoy shopping at Aldi. For the basics I may need at reasonable prices, also the occasional surprise limited time items! Makes for a pleasant time.

Groceries are truly expensive and you know thats a fact when you say that coming from Aldi.

Since theyve remodeled the design of the store. They can readily compete with the other grocery stores in the area. They seem to have a better variety of goods whether perishable or non perishable. Also they carry a variety of spirits which is a very nice touch.

This newly remodeled Aldi in Calumet City has more high end options. I bought a snack size feta cheese and olives. There were also thin salami, cheese and crackers snacks just like at Starbucks for half the cost. Salads too. I love it.

I had no idea how good many of their products are.....maybe not the name brands you are used to but the taste is exactally the same....my daughter got me started on Aldis....I am so glad she did....today I found beautiful roses...$3.99 four 6 of them.....wherever else do you find roses for that price? Many colors too....

There are certain items that I get at Aldis on a regular basis and usually those prices are better than everywhere else (not the name brands). When an item I want is not on sale at other stores, I know I can fall back to Aldis. Not everything is a good deal, but you just have to know your prices. The quality is just as good as chain- grocery stores, and sometimes better. Just bring your own bags so you dont have to buy them.

Good service, lines stay long. I never understood why all lines arent open. Hire the proper amount of people, its that simple! Its not like the store is underfunded.

The store is clean and well organized. They also have a larger selection of organic and gluten-free products than other Aldis that Ive been in. They even carry products like ghee and almond oil.

Employees need to pay attention and stop chatting about unnecessary things. Looks like they got noting better to do. I didn’t know this was the chill spot. Thay always on their phone here.

They always close 5-10 minutes early to never let customers come in. I have to make some last minute shopping and they clearly see me at the window holding my clock up that it’s before closing time. Seems very lazy of the employees. Love Aldi, just not satisfied with this particular branch.

The prices are steadily going up. The bananas dont last very long before going bad. Often items Im looking for are out of stock

Its was okay they didnt have quite a few produce items but overall I think the store had a great variety of items and the best part the shelves were fully stocked. Thats my attraction to any store clean and fully stocked shelves beautiful!!!!!

I shop at Aldi EVERY week and I always have a great experience . However, I tried this location ( i usually shop in Chicago ) and had the worst customer service from Laura at the register . I was shopping for flowers and cake for a last minute birthday dinner . I saw some flowers for $3.99 and they were wilted, then I saw the employee Kayleigh coming out with a fresh bouquet of roses, I asked her if they were the same price as the wilted flowers and she said, ” yes “. I took the cake, new flowers, and milk to the register and in my mind I thought the total would be about $12. Laura rang me up and the total was $19.75. I asked her “oh no, why is it so much, how much are the flowers ?”. She then replied, ” the flowers are $9.99”. I then told her what Kayleigh said the price was and told her I wanted the $3.99 flowers instead of the roses . Laura scoffed at me and acted as it was an inconvenience to void the flowers from the transaction . She then voided the roses, told me to pay $8.23 now, I thought the price was too low for 3 items and asked her if she had added the flowers . She raised her voice and said, ” no, pay now for these 2 items then go get the flowers then pay again”. I told her I was not going to pay taxes twice so I would just get out of line, go get the flowers, then pay everything together . She began yelling at me in front of 4 other customers to pay now and then get the flowers . I was so embarrassed and didn’t even want finish the transaction . So disappointed in Laura and how she represented Aldi today .

Great place to come with friends and family anyone who knows me knows this is one of my favorite places to come hands down the customer service here is great the place is hands down cleanest place I ever been to everyone should stop by and check this place anyone in the area will tell you this is the come to place where fun and joy are at family place to come very family friendly the lobby and bathrooms here are very clean fresh smelling everyone should come here in there free time just to have the experience

Aldi is a good neighborhood store with both name brand and none name brand items for an affordable price.

Each Aldi is different ... this one in Lansing sold beef country ribs I havent seen at Aldis in Calumet City. They had a whole isle of Xmas items for decor & for gifts I found affordable and quality was good. Checkout was fast.
