Tried the medium roast drip today (my yard stick for all coffee shops). It was super smooth with a bright fruity finish. So very good.I love the ambiance of the cafe and the outside seating with umbrellas was excellent. Great place for coffee.

Love this place. Great coffee, and the owner is an awesome local dude. I also love how they believe in personal liberty and freedom of choice regarding what people wear or do not wear on their faces. If seeing peoples faces makes you uncomfortable, please feel free to go elsewhere. I, however, love real genuine human interaction...and SMILES!

The staff was so nice and welcoming and their food and coffee was very good. This is quite a busy coffee spot but they had out door seating as well. Would 100% come back again.

Coffee was good, but no Covid protocols, so wont go back. We met a friend there for a meeting since it was close to the EV charging station. They have a nice outdoor seating area.

Went in.for a cup of coffee, and not a single person had a mask on; not even the workers! I’d expect a little more from a local business. Coffee was overall decent.

Very good coffee.We live in a democratic republic in which we should have the ability to choose to do what is best for ourself. If you are not comfortable with others exercising their rights by not wearing masks, then you can choose to take your business elsewhere because that is your right and that’s okay. Do what you feel is right and leave it at that.Also, every time I have been in, all staff wears masks.

Hidden River is one of my very favorite coffee shops around! They serve delicious, quality coffee and their customer service is superb! Last time I came in they were ready and excited to try new things for me -- I asked for an iced quad shot peanut butter macadamia nut milk latte and they made it perfectly! Love the laid back, cozy atmosphere, always feel welcomed. Keep up the good work!

One customer gave one star because nobody was wearing masks. If this bothers you then you should move to and stay in Portland. They have reasonable prices here and it is good.

Hidden River Roasters is literally a coffee house. Located in Camas, its a quaint place to have a coffee or tea and a little snack. its comfortable and quiet and the outdoor seating is fantastic as the weather warms.

Coffee is good and service is great! Breakfast sandwiches are delicious, and reasonably priced. Love the look of the shop too! Very cozy.

We have really enjoyed this coffee shop since they’ve opened up a couple years back but we went in today to get our coffee and no one wore masks. Almost like the business is encouraging people to not wear them. Not to mention it was packed. No social distancing. Do better! Obviously this business has no respect for their community. We will not be back.

Best vanilla latte I’ve ever had! They roast their own beans, and adjust the pull of the coffee machines so that it tastes amazing. Homemade syrup. Can’t wait to to go back in June when I’m ack in Washington state.

When we went in to order our drinks today, we noticed that none of the customers were wearing masks while standing in line to order! None of the workers were saying anything to the customers without masks on. They were not practicing social distancing whatsoever! Latte was good, but not worth the risk of getting COVID! 1 out of 5, would not recommend!

Hidden River Roasters is awesome! Not only do they make good coffee they also are incredibly generous. The last time my unit deployed they sent our folks out the door with 100lbs of premium coffee to keep caffeine to the face optimal! Truly a great company who believes freedom and doing the right thing. Buy their coffee, stay caffeinated, live free.

Ive always had great experiences here. I come here to meet with friends, do homework and it feels like Im right at home. The service is very friendly and patient and the coffee is just as great every time (pastries too). Highly recommended for all coffee lovers.

The employees do not wear masks or mandate that their customers do either. There are so many coffee shops to choose from, and I will gladly take my business to one of them. It’s unfortunate they are taking such a political stand, instead of being responsible business owners, and providing a safe and healthy environment. I would imagine that is how they run their chiropractic office as well.

No masks on customers or staff. Blatantly and openly disregarding public health standards makes me wonder what other health rules they feel are ‘optional’ just because they don’t feel like bothering with them while other establishments do. I will never get coffee here again. There are much better options within walking distance and I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

To all the people complaining about the employees and customers not wearing masks, Hidden River still went above and beyond to put a plexiglass between the customer and server, and have offered customers worried about their health (Covid has over a 99.99 survival rate) to use a walk up window to order. If that isnt enough and your health is that low, maybe you should consider staying at home in the first place?

Should have known better after we walked in as a family of 4 (2 kids under 2 and an immunocompromised wife) and recognized we were the only masked people in or outside. Nonchalant cashier that got way too close physically was more than happy to tell us about their overly sweet chai or matcha that was full of sugar (2nd ingredient). SAD!

I love the coffee here and the idea of supporting our local businesses especially when our options are so limited. It seems they are not interested in making sure that the few options we do have remain open.Not a mask in the place. Not on staff, not on customers.I won’t be back until they enforce the indoor mask mandate and the folks preparing the food and drinks while interacting with dozens to hundreds of people per day at least make an effort in limiting the spread.Very unfortunate, as I recall they were one of the first businesses in town to establish good protocol, and creation of window service. So sad.

Wow. What a disappointment. This was my first and last time at Hidden River Roasters. All employees had their masks on their chins. Customers ordering were not wearing masks. Zero social distancing. What a disgrace to the Camas community.

I adore this coffee shop. They are exquisite! I’ve never been to a place that made me feel so at home when I first walked in the doors. There’s no discrimination or judgement, just a love for people. Not only are the employees amazing, but the coffee. OH THE COFFEE! Crazy good. Chocolatey, nutty, with hints of berry. Makes for a wonderful drink!

I personally love this coffee shop, delicious pastries, good breakfast sandwiches, and best of all amazing coffee, ever since I tried their coffee I could not drink anything else, so be warned they will ruin all other coffee for you. The inside is cool with and awesome rough hewn bar and all of the baristas are so nice, every time I go I am always excited to get the best coffee in the world, thanks for all you guys have done!

Prepared our coffee without masks... it made the entire experience gross. Knowing your filthy spit particles are in my drink makes it unbearable and disgusting. Y’all are really awful people, selfish too. Hundreds of thousands of people are dying. You don’t have to wear masks, but I hope you feel shame knowing you are contributing to mass death. disgusting.

Ive been here several times for meetings and coffee. Great atmosphere and amazing coffee! They were busy each time I went, yet the staff went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of. I love local coffee shops like this that typically reflect the heart of a community!

Unfortunately I did not get to try the coffee as when I arrived to pick up my mobile order (from the walk up window) the employee making the coffee was not wearing a mask. There were also several customers in the shop talking and hanging out with no masks on. As I was waiting at the window, I could see into the shop and was shocked at how many people were just standing around visiting with no masks on. It was a blatant disregard for our state’s mask mandate and closure to indoor dining. Due to the lack of following public safety protocols, I did not take my drinks with me. As I was leaving, I saw more customers without masks entering the establishment. I did appreciate the employee who was working at the window wearing her mask and showing concern for others’ health. I am so disappointed in Hidden River Roasters for such disregard for the health of others in the community.

Used to love this place, but as someone with an auto immune disease I was beyond disappointed to see no staff wearing masks and customers packed in also maskless. Really sad that I will no longer be able to support this local business. Please if you care about people, your friends, and your family do not go here.

Small craft coffee roaster and an adorable, friendly, coffee shop.

This is my favorite coffee shop and roaster period. They have great beans, excellent coffee, warm and friendly service where if your a regular they will remember your name. The ham and cheese croissant is a particularly tasty pastry option.

WARNING! If you care for the lives of family members and those in the community, DO NOT go to Hidden River! Staff were not wearing masks, and the place was filled with like-minded folks updating their anti-vaxxing blogs and contributing to QAnon forums. Its sad to see a business be so selfish, when other local businesses are making sacrifices to stay open and protect the community. I applaud those other businesses for being a team player, and doing what is right for our town, state, and country.

First time in Camas and I found this beautiful place. Good coffee and delicious baked goods.

What an inclusive, welcoming place!

Not one person in the store in a mask, including the servers. We have a requirement to wear them now, but I guess these folks really dont care about the law, or about keeping vulnerable customers safe. We left, well be telling all our friend to avoid this place, not just for now but for good. Well be visiting fine coffee shops who follow state mandates. If I could post this with NO stars, I would have....

One of a handful of my favorite places in Camas; there can sometimes be a bit of a queue, especially if the weather is nice--but its worth it. Bonus points for in-house roasting (try the light roast Ethiopian Yirgacheffe for fabricating cold brew at home, its in my top 3 of PNW roasters)Pro tip: the gluten free raspberry crumble bars alone are worth heading across the Columbia for :)

I moved to Camas fairly recently and was stoked to enjoy a local coffee roaster. I walked in, ordered, and then realized that no one had a mask, the barista was mask-less, and walked out and waited for my order outside. When it came, we asked the Barista why she and everyone else didnt have a mask and she stated she couldnt wear one for health reasons, that customers were socially distanced (clearly a lie) and they had special permission from the health department. I am a firefighter, and I have personally seen and felt the impact of COVID19 on our community. Masks are about caring about not spreading this terrible disease to other people, and this should not be about personal opinions or faulty beliefs. Social distancing and masks work. I wont ever be supporting this business again.

Your entitled to that... if you believe that masks save lives.. than don’t go. This is Peaceful protest and peopleWho work here apparently have health problems when masking up. Stop living in fear.

Not only are staff not wearing masks, but customers were inside drinking coffee without masks on. I walked by wearing a mask, and a woman standing outside told me, the great thing about this place is you dont have to wear a mask. Blatant disregard for public health.

I was really excited to get a coffee the other morning and walked to the window and noticed the employee was not wearing a mask. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I asked why no mask...she stated due to medical reasons she is not wearing one. Then why is she working there? I highly doubt the she has a medical reason because she was so young, and when I asked her she kind of stumbled and then blurted that out. Why is she face-to-face with the customers if she cant wear a mask. This place is so small and the potential of spreading something to customers and employees is so high. I dont get it. We all want to get through this, but so many of us do not want to sacrifice anything. The ones not wanting to sacrifice believe they know more than the experts. That is why it is out of control with no end in sight. The brew pub right down the street just got their first confirmed case of covid and it was from an employee.I will not be back to Hidden River Roasters and I do not recommend that others go to this establishment until they do the right things...meaning all employees wear masks. If they are unable to wear a mask...they do not work there. Be smart and considerate of others. Just sell us your products and do not give us anything else that we are not expecting. Lets get through this together!
