Stopped by here real quick as we were driving by the town. Place was nice and clean. They were friendly and the coffee was great. Definitely hit the spot!

Get the Quiche! Seriously though this little coffee cafe is a great local spot in Camden. Usually has a bit of a line, but plenty of space to sit and wait for your order. The quiche is flaky, flavorful, and fresh every day. Highly recommend. otherwise the smoothies are good as well as the porridge. Coffee options are good, nothing over the top. Good spot to stop in early or late morning!

Great vegan pastries. Delicious coffee. When in or passing though Camden it is worth a stop.

The staff were very helpful, especially to my teenagers who like those Starbucks type recipes for drinks. Zoot definitely is worth the visit. They also have the absolute best vegan blueberry muffins, and we are Texas BBQ meat eaters. And the teenagers loved whatever it was the guy behind the counter made for them.

Yesterday’s staff was masked, today they weren’t. So if Russian Roulette is what you’re looking for, go here. The products are good but if it comes with a side dish of potentially fatal disease that I can spread to others…. Why did these people wake up deciding to try to kill me and my family when they’ve never even met us? What did I do to them?

I helped the owner with a question at my place of work, and she gave me a coupon for a free drink of my choice! When I finally went in to get my coffee a few months later, she still remembered me, and helped me decide what to get, since I dont visit coffee shops that often. The service was excellent and speedy, and the coffee was just as good!

Very promising decor and equipment. I ordered a cortado and made sure we were on the same page that they made theirs 2 oz espresso and two oz milk and they said yes but I definitely got a 6-8 oz drink. So disappointing. Espresso with sparkling in it was not a nice thing to taste either. So so close and so far at the same time.

The coffee is always top notch and the new location is way better. There can be lines during peak times, but thats because everyone else knows how good the coffee is.

One of the best coffee shops in Maine imo. Service and drinks are both excellent. Unlike most coffee shops, the quality is consistent. They dont put too much ice in the drinks, so my coffee never gets watered down. A variety of milks available, soy, oak, regular.

I want to start off by saying the coffee was great and so was the atmosphere. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because of the extremely rude server wearing green overalls and side ponytail. My friends and I were appalled at the way she threw a coffee lid at my friend and gave dirty looks. She needs a reality check and should never treat anyone that way.

Love the new Zoot location. Same good coffee and service but a slightly different feel! Great place to work and read, very peaceful.

Disappointed. Overly crowded, slow service, interior was at least 15 degrees too warm and full of stale air. The coffee, once received was solidly good. Seemed to have such potential from the outside, unclear as to how to fix, but needs a jolt of energy and a fresh approach. Why is cold brew not a thing in Camden, ME?

I ordered a drink called the cafe forte. It was exceptional (espresso drink). Great flavor and I drank every drop. Most of the store is shut down there is no seating or anything but you can go in and get a great coffee and it is located right on the main street. Best coffee for at least an hour in each direction.

Stopped in for a coffee and a chai latte. We enjoyed our drinks. It did take a bit for the 4 people in front of us to get their order taken and paid for but not a complete deal breaker. My first chai latte and it was delicious. (Maybe it was a spiced chai latte 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

For a place that is so constantly busy the service is always prompt, especially given the volume that zoot sees. After my first couple of visits the awesome staff remembered my order, and the coffee, without reservation is the best around. It breaks my heart to see that some folks just passing through can’t appreciate how lucky the community is to have this coffee shop. I’ve witnessed some REALLY RUDE behavior from CUSTOMERS who dont seem to understand just how hard the staff works. The staff at zoot is a bunch of saints and I do not take lightly how challenging that job is. Thank you for constantly delivering outstanding service in what must feel like an often thankless job. You keep this community caffeinated and that deserves a serious award - not just 5 stars. Thank you.

Couldnt find a Starbucks, so there we were. Got an iced cafe mocha. The mocha flavor was good, but too light on the coffee, maybe because it was a single, not double.

They make their ice coffee different than I have ever had! Better than any ice coffee I have ever had (and I get starbucks daily). I have been treated by such kindness by not just staff, but they attract such kind and nice customers too. Being from Boston, it was a much different scene. People are kind and the food is always made with top notch ingredients.

Second visit to Camden this is my least fave coffee and service I’ve ever had. Cannot figure out why in the world this place is so popular that we would all stand outside on the sidewalk trying to accommodate distancing and wait for each individual drink to be made 5-8 min per drink. No apologies. Very proud. No thank you.

Second visit to Camden and heard so many good things about this place had to try it. The coffee was subpar at best and watched the barista tamp and level the grounds with her unwashed hand while complaining about out-of-staters and COVID. Couldn’t be less impressed if I tried.

Always worth the but extra for a treat and just feel good vibe at Zoots. Accepts all cards discount for cash and a Square retailer so square card helps but all accepted.

The young lady standing behind the counter scolded my father because his mask slipped down his nose for a second. it was really inappropriate and really disrespectful. my father would never purposely do that and it was very unkind. i get if it made you uncomfortable in the moment but to go about it how she did was wrong and really rude. i just hope she learns how to talk to adults and her elders better.

We have been vacationing in Camden for 11 years. Zoots is certainly one of the places we visit everyday. Our family have withdrawals when were not there. Amazing, delicious coffee and vegan muffins. They make the best iced coffee and forte you could possibly wish for. Check out the Scottish oat bars too.

Not only the best coffee house in the region, but also an amazing venue for artists. There is always an ever changing show by a local artist. Its a peaceful, beautiful and magical place. We are lucky to have Zoot!

Excellent atmosphere and staff, very inviting little place. My only issue is they have some of the worst espresso Ive ever tasted. I ordered a Espresso con Panna (espresso with some whipped cream) and the espresso was either super over extracted or extremely under extracted because it was so sour it was almost intolerable to drink. Otherwise, a very nice place and their other options for drinks are much more acceptable.

Super welcoming and friendly service. The vibe is just right for an early morning snack and chill session. And they sure know how to make a great cup of coffee and baked goods. 😊ADDITION: The barista (Sarah?) greeted people by name as they wandered in, knew our “regular” order after helping us just the day before, and is an obvious favorite of the locals here. And she really makes great coffee and conversation. 🙌💫💥

Ive been coming here for years. Its a very unique and comfortable establishment. The staff and clientele are beyond good. A great community vibe. And, importantly, AMAZING COFFEE.

This became my spot in Camden! Such great customer service, and yummy little treats. Theres always just enough people there so it feels lived in, but not overcrowded. I miss it already and cant wait to visit the area again so I can have my zoot coffee!

Hipster coffee joint. The coffee was excellent! The coffee also was focused on darker roasts and espresso drinks. Great for coffee aficionados, but regular folks looking for a cup a joe should stick to dunks; the $4 coffee is quality, but only if you like bolder roasts.

Three stars for a neighborhood coffee house that serves good coffee but really awful muffins. The muffins, both the blueberry and the poppyseed ginger where like lead--over worked dough and super dry. How they charge for those muffins is a mystery.It is the spot for coffee in the small main drag of town but if you walk down, around the corner, the pastries at the Red Barn Bakery are far superior. Get a latte and then pass on the muffins.

Coffee was great 👍🏻 she really cares about what she is doing. Seems like she has a lot of regulars. I might soon be one of them.

Stopped in for Coffee and a muffin after some morning shopping in Camden. The shop is very popular with local patrons and they are greeted by name. There seems to be a wifi connection available although I didnt use it. The coffee, served in a heavy glass, is robust without a trace of bitterness. The muffin was tasty without being too sweet. Ill be sure to stop again the next time Im in Camden.

Against all odds, staff remain friendly despite the wretched Manhattanites who seem to swarm to Zoot in order to place their miserable distaste at everyone and everything in Maine on full display. Mainers be warned: entering this shop between April and November will surely elicit myriad upturned noses and Stamford scowls. Coffee is fine.

What Lukes Diner is to Gilmore Girls Zoots is to the Town of Camden! It is special in so many way: from the people who own and run it, the atmosphere, the perfect cup of joe, the rotating art on the walls and unbelievably delicious homemade bake goods always with vegan and gluten free options. A place for the locals but occasionally a lucky tourist will find it.

I found this shop on happycow as Im a vegan who was stopping through the area with some friends. I was pretty disappointed by the coffee options- I cant vouch for their vegan pastries/food because I was full from the Belfast Co-Op when I came here. I asked how much a large decaf vanilla latte with almond milk would be- the cashier said 7 DOLLARS. Im sorry but Im not paying a fortune for a latte from a store in the middle of Maine. Starbucks doesnt even charge that much. I ended up getting a decaf coffee with almond milk and was really unimpressed. coffee beans were EXTREMELY overroasted and gross. Im glad I ended up only paying about 3 dollars versus the 7. Honestly? skip on this one.

Zoot Coffee (Zoots) is an amazing place to have drinks and socialize. I rate this 5 stars for its amazing drinks and friendly staff.
