Great market with nice selection of groceries and meat counter, pizza oven in the back. Pizza was very good and only had to wait about 20 minutes. Meat counter looks enticing, will be back for some Maine grown strip steaks! They look really good.

Steak and Cheese was amazing. Kids got pizza and loved it. This is a great local spot just outside of town. We grabbed lunch and had a picnic on the water. It was perfect.

Dont get me started on the sandwiches here cause theyre some of the best Ive ever had. Next to that theres tons of great hand made snack options. In the back of the store they have a kitchen with carry out food options. You even grab yourself some fresh cut choices of beautiful meats. Stop by and check out their store.

Great little spot to pickup lunch, drinks and supplies on the way to the lake or the bay. The sandwiches are made fresh every morning and are delish!

Oh sweet, sweet, delicious Megunticook Market. Whenever I am in the area, my shopping list includes: the garlic herb spread, the cranberry walnut chicken salad, Ines Rosales original crisps, and a large Big Mac cheeseburger pizza. They make amazing pizza, and theyll even make it with vegan cheese! They have some strange and delectable treats that are hard to find in other places. Staff has always been friendly. If property came up for sale in the neighborhood, I would buy it just to be closer to the market.

Megunticook market is the go to place if you’re around Megunticook river or lake. Their selections get better every year!

Was ok. I got a steak and cheese sub and it was well made. My wife got a BLT and said it was the most bland tasting BLT shes ever had. There carret cake was awesome and there Connellys were ok.

We hired Megunticook Catering for a small 50th anniversary party in November. Given the Covid restrictions, the food was delivered to our home for us to serve. From start to finish, the service and food was terrific. Communication was prompt and they were very helpful in planning a menu that would suit our needs. The food (assorted hors doeuvres) was fantastic. The butternut squash arancini was a particular favorite.

If they dont have it you dont need it.

Picked up to go Pizza. The woman who handed the pizza to me was not wearing gloves. She was wearing a mask BUT IT WAS DOWN AROUND HER NECK NOT COVERING HER MOUTH AND NOSE. Accepting the pizza required closer distancing than 6ft. Just because you do not take regulations and good practices seriously does NOT mean you should not practice the same. Safety and success should be defined FROM THE CUSTOMERS POINT OF VIEW. Owing to age or just plain good sense many customers may take this issue more seriously than you. I won’t be returning to Megunticook Market.

We generally make a weekly trip from Belfast to pick up a pizza, bags of coffee and your store made English muffins!

When you see this on the map you say hmm a store, but this review is not about the store which is pretty ok is about the food they serve in the back especially the sandwich with steak and cheese, the best sandwich I ate in my life. Also the pizza is good. But the best ate the sandwiches.

Always good steak an cheeses til tonight. I bought two steak subs, one with mushrooms an onions. asked if they do extra of the veggies on that one but didnt get extra. I drove from Belfast tonight to Camden for your steak an cheese. I should of looked at the sandwiches before leaving. I asked for extra steak an only 17 pieces of steak on my sandwich an the bread was burnt. You definitely deserve a 5 star review I give three stars because of this

Cannot give Megunticook enough stars! Last Sunday they catered our wedding in Northport, ME and we cannot begin to express the level of professionalism, deliciousness, and sheer perfection that Lani, Rachel, and their entire team bring to the table. First of all, we originally had another caterer but it fell through and Megunticook was then recommended to us. They worked with us so beautifully and executed our vision of a bistro burger bar and lobster rolls so perfectly. Not only did they cater the wedding but did last minute catering for the days leading up to it. We got a lot of different things from them throughout the wedding weekend and everything was perfect and very reasonably priced! On the day of the ceremony (and every other day in fact) Rachel shined like an absolute goddess. Along with managing the day, she also acted as our personal server, ensuring that we were able to stuff our faces with food/wine while getting pics taken after the ceremony. She and the cooks/staff at Megunticook made our wedding perfect, providing excellent and delicious Maine cuisine, along with rustic decorations that complimented our theme. We cannot thank everyone enough for helping us throw the best party of our lives in celebration of our love for one another and love for all the food! If you want amazing food and an equally amazing experience, we would highly recommend Megunticook for any occasion.

For a small neighborhood store it is wonderfully stocked, special orders are given consideration. Wine selection is varied but able to accommodate most tastes, and ice cream in a variety of sizes as well as flavors. Chips, produce, condiments, easy foods, cheeses and meats (sausage) not to mention hand cut meats and fish

I love, love, love this place! Upscale feel, with great variety of items, but reasonably priced. The only pizza around here thats any good. Deserts are to die for, too! Love that theyre open on Sundays, not common around here.
