My husband and I bought a truck from Philmark and had a great experience. The owner Phil was very professional and negotiated a good price for us. After couple weeks of purchase we found there was a mechanical problem with the back seat and the other owner Mark took care of it without any problems. Both owners are very nice and very professional. We never bought a car from a small dealership and we were quite suspicious but this place proved us wrong. That Friday, 9/23 after only spending 3 hours at the dealership, mainly trying to figure out what we wanted, we drove off the lot in a 2010 BMW X5! I recently visited PhilMark Motorcars after crashing my beloved 2004 Mercedes that I owned for 11 years. I met with Philip Khoury the owner and was greeted by him and his amazing, helpful and friendly staff. After test driving two cars I decided on a beautiful Cadillac. The process couldnt have been more pleasurable. I was quickly approved, (not the best credit I might add after a divorce) and his staff took care of everything. Tags, insurance the works. I walked out very happy and with a big smile on my face. Very easy process and great folks. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to buy a quality used car.

They still have yet to pay me back the money they owe me, I keep calling and calling to get ahold of the accountant who seems to only be there on Wednesday’s, it’s been almost a year, half of the people I use to speak to there don’t even work there anymore and I keep getting the run around it’s crazy .. I call and they transfer me and all the phone does is ring, I keep getting told they will have the accountant call me she never does

We just bought our first pre-owned Mercedes from Philmark and I have to say the experiance was exceptional! I would highly reccomend them and suspect I will be back again next time.

Please do not spend your time or money at this dealership. I could not have been more disappointed in the service and lack of respect I have received from this company. Starting from the moment we went into the dealership the sales associate directed the communication to my husband and could not even remember my name even though I was the one making the purchase... there was even a point where the sales associate let the door slam in my face on the way out to the vehicle. If I did not like the car as much as I did I would have left then and there. So, we did purchase the car and the terrible service did not end there.... we were not given proper communication about the license plate process. It has now been since early December since I purchased this vehicle and I am still with out permanent plates. When will this nightmare end.

Do not purchase a car there, if so take it to an independent dealer to check the vehicle. Those nice salesperson are different when the vehicle has a major problem in two months after signing that bill. RATING ZERO

Nice high end preowned vehicle

I bought a one owner clean car fax 2004 passat wagon from author. He was a pleasure to deal with. I got in and again friendly and the whole process went smoothly. Drove the vehicle home and the clutch start chattering bad. Called them to see if it was covered under warranty and the nice dameaner quickly changed. All of a sudden everyone i needed to talk to was out of the office for days. They finally agreed to send me a clutch and have me install it on my dime. That was fine i paid 500 for a local mechanic to do the labor. All to find out that the transmission was blown. Needless to say i dont have an additional 3k laying around for a new transmission after i just had to pit a new clutch in a 70k mile car. So now i have a giant paper weight sitting in my driveway and no car. Thanks!

It was surprisingly a pleasant experience! I just stopped in to look at the Honda CRV I saw on the lot as I was passing by. I was in the market for something but wasnt sure what but the Honda was appealing and I had looked at one at a Honda dealer. I expected to look and then go to a new Honda dealer to purchase but Mr. Koury made me a deal I couldnt refuse. I went home and thought about, came back and drove out with my 2010 CRV! Best price within 75 miles for such low miles. I also got a better warranty than I was offered at the Honda dealer. Very Happy!

UPDATE: I just wanted to add that, when we moved out of the area unexpectedly and had no need for a car, Phil very kindly bought it back from us. (Given that it was a convertible and we moved in winter, Im sure it wont move quickly.) He gave us a very fair price and an extraordinarily easy experience, even being so kind as to mail our EZPass to our new home when we accidentally left it in our car. Im so glad that we had the opportunity to work with him not once but twice!PREVIOUS REVIEW: As a millennial, there arent many times in life when I feel that going with the smaller, local store is better. But this is one of those times.We bought our last car from CarMax. I loved it because CarMax made the whole process easy and quick, and I was inclined to go with them again despite the quality of the car that we purchased (which was pretty poor). However, their prices werent as competitive as Philmarks, so we headed out for a test drive. The owner, Philip, clearly has the clients best interest at heart; hes been helpful and candid at every point in the process. Its a family business, and you can tell; hes interested in making his customers happy, not making the most amount of money.We ended up buying from Philmarks, and it was just as quick as CarMax - as well as a much better price and experience. Since then, our interactions with them have been been painless and pleasant. A day or two after we left, one of the lights went out in the car. A simple call to Philip ensured that it was fixed for free, as well as a couple of other minor issues (a broken switch, a missing key).Honestly, I would buy our next car from them. I dont know what better recommendation you can get, especially from someone who hates cars and buying them.
