Best coffee place. Period. And I mean foe a coffee beverage as well as for beans.I have been coming to Barefoot since 2008. Followed them around as they changed locations. I buy the beans to make coffee at home exclusively from Barefoot. Have never been disappointed. I make a detour as often as I can to sop by one of their locations for a coffee. Usually an espresso based drink. Preparation is always top class. Well trained, skilled and passionate baristas have been amazing me for over a decade now. And Latte art is of course included :)I usually only have coffee, but the food is super nice as well. Especially the Avocado roast. Delicious and so nicely prepared.
If I were to rate just the coffee, the rating would be higher. The place is pretty narrow inside, so Its hard to sit with more than 1 person. As for the outside seating, the shaded seats had flies going around, and the seats in the sun were okay, but the weather was also really hot.
Great and cozy artisan coffee place. They have got some really good coffee picks and preparations from around the world. Tried their Cafe brule from the menu which was Cappuccino with caramelized sugar topping. That was pretty amazing. Worth a stop if you are in the area and looking for some great coffee place. Strangely there arent good coffee places in and around Campbell downtown area.
Awesome coffee and food. Hilariously bad service from the entitled kids, except the one gal with buzz cut curls who is always there. Manager?
High quality coffee. Not overly sweet. Really good avocado toast.
Nice little coffee shop, love the yogurt Parvati. Coffee good and the music was soothing. Definitely will be back.
Best coffee around. I got the sweet latte with honey and avocado toast.
Im so happy I came in, they have oat milk, which is my other alternatives to drinking coconut milk with my coffee and I ordered a coffee that had hints of an orange flavor to it and it was amazing. Busy little spot, so much better then starbucks, I was getting tired of my starbucks grind and needed coffee less acidic, so glad I took the time to come in to this small little shop. People super nice and friendly.
I mostly come here to get freshly roasted beans which they roast to order. They have very good light roasts and reasonably priced as compared to other bay area roasters.I ordered a pour over once as well but wasnt impressed by it.
Most delicious covfefe around. Not sure what the magic is, but I consistently love everything they make. Favourite is their vanilla latté.
A great low key coffee shop. Always enjoy my visits there.
This was a chance visit to this coffee shop, but how glad I was that I did. The coffee is done so well that one cup may not be enough. Even more delightful is when a shop does its own roasts. It adds so much character to the place and gives this place a unique personality. The barista is very pleasant and engaging which makes it a very involving coffee experience.
Do you want to try original unusual funny special coffee drinks? This place for you.
I tried their 21Latte todays special that too with oat milk taste. The first few sips was little weird may be due to the cardamom but after few sips the taste is really good.
It was gratifying and worthwhile for my friends and me. The working waiters and waitresses received applause as well.
The espresso is a bit sour, but their other specialty drinks are very nice. A bit expensive, but probably one of the best lattes around.
Love the coffee and the place! The baristas are really friendly and they are very good at their job. I really enjoy watching them making the coffee (they measure everything!). Consistent, dependable taste. I highly recommend it.
It is my favourite espresso coffee when I stay in doubletree hotel campbell, I can walk to the coffee. Excellent espresso, and I like almond butter toast for the breakfast
Ordered some beans from their website, and they arrived within a few days. Beans were freshly roasted to order, and after trying beans from multiple local roasters, Id say that barefoots beans are my favorite. I really like the nicaragua beans for medium roast profile (great for morning!), And kenya beans with a lighter, fruitier profile (great for my second cup in the afternoon). Will order from them again. | Answers | Service: Delivery; Price: $11 - 20
Loved it! Tables would be nice outside.
Empty menu. Over priced coffee
Decent coffee nice clean place. I’ve been here several times and I feel the only downside to this coffee store are the employee. A few of my friends and I agree that for some reason you get the feeling that the employees are ultra cool coffee hipsters. Easy on the cool hipster vibe just serve coffee without the I’m so cool attitude.
Great Mexican Mochas! Great coffee spot to have nearby. Bought some beans for the first time during my last stop in, looking forward to cracking open the bag!
I have to admit one of the best Cuban cappuccinos. I am a coffee person and so coffee is important and they absolutely nailed it here!
Went here because I saw they had a good happy hour and they werent wrong. $5 dollar wells is right up my alley. The atmosphere is also super cool inside and out.Barefoot CoffeeReturned later that night and it was packed!! But it was still a great time, and the drinks were so good! They make greyhounds with fresh grapefruit that they squeeze right in front of you! Will definitely be going back soon.
Yo this place is awesome!!On my never-ending quest to visit all the coffee shoppes and find the best one on the planet, this one will have me coming back pretty frequently! So far I have tried:- VoodooIt was really good! I usually just get my coffee black, but Im always down to try other things when Im out and about on the town doin my chicken wang. Im not sure if this was that butter coffee that people seem to love, you know, where they add in a scoop of coconut oil, or some other buttery type of food and it gives it an insane amount of creaminess.Super good. Super BAD for you. But hey, you only live once right? So go out and have some freaking fun once in awhile! If youre scared, they are very COVID-compliant, so you can feel safe here, inside arms of the angels that are your baristas.See you there, Space Cowboi
The original Barefoot was what turned me on to craft coffee before that was a thing. This shop carries on where Andy and the original left off. Nice variety of beans for pour over. They pull fantastic shots for espresso drinks and pour beautiful milk drinks. My go to drink is from the original cafe, a symphony in c. Its an off the menu concoction, essentially an unsweetened mocha. I watch my sugar intake, so this is the perfect drink for me. There are a couple other signature drinks worth checking out. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Indoor and outdoor seating. Im there early so finding a seat is never an issue.
Great coffee, even better ambiance
It was ok, nothing to write about
Excellent coffee with lots of options. The only downside is that it can get quite pricey for a cup of coffee. Thats the only reason I cant go there everyday. Apart from that the staff is very welcoming, they provide you all the info you need, and watching my coffee drip and brew is always awesome ;)
Very nice local coffee shop in Campbell! Friendly staff, tasty pastries, and most importantly, the coffee is different in a nice way. I ordered caramel latte. Not crazily sweet like Starbucks, but the hint of caramel definitely makes ☕️ smoother.
Great people great environment ice location very comfortable and good coffee selections. I will definitely go back there
Favorite coffee spot in San Jose and possibly of the entire South Bay. Great staff. Fantastic drip coffee. I recommend Cerberus or red cap (I think thats the name).
Very good quality espresso: smooth and creamy. Loved it. Wifes latte was awesome. Will definitely come back.Best espresso Ive had in the Bay Area so far.
Best coffee shop for those who loves coffee like me. This place was absolutely great and their staff were friendly and accommodating. Thanks. Great service.
FURTHER UPDATE: one male staff dropped the f bomb! Theres no way customers close to the counter couldnt hear him.UPDATED: the staff really sucks now. There is a high turnover and the current team keeps on messing up customers orders. Moreover, they shamelessly trash talk customers openly at the counter. Unbelievable! Enough is enough.OLD REVIEW: This cafe offers a relaxing ambience. Parking is located in the back of the building complex. The baristas are very knowledgeable about their beans and brews. They will patiently explain to you the differences between products. Some patio seating for those with dogs. Nice.
Too busy, too small, no place to sit. If you want a cuppa coffee to go, fine. But their claim to fame of being quaint and a nice place to have a relaxing cuppa coffee is a bit of a stretch. I showed up at 4 PM when its supposed to be more quiet. No worries, just going to go to a competitor nearby.
Great cozy spot for better espresso and espresso drinks. If you want to enjoy a caffeinated beverage that is created by caring thoughtful baristas, this is the spot. Its small, its cozy and you will appreciate it!
Small setting but not crampedCustomer service was greatI had the Cubano and it was deliciousI would also recommend the hot chocolate which my brother got creamy with hint of vanilla. Would definitely come back.
Great local place to have a cup of coffee and to study. This place really improved its previous furnishing, where the tables are much bigger and theres a new bar table in the back too!Friendly staff, nice coffee, and definitely try their voodoo.
Delicious Espresso Sunrise 😍
Best place for coffee! They treat you with great respect. As we go there often, they know us and know what we want.
You should definitely try their vanilla latte (I forgot what they call it, they have a special name for it). It was delicious (after I added a little syrup)
True art of coffee, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable price for Silicon Valley, good selection of drinks, not so much on food though. Good parking space next to the building, not that many seatings.
Nice spot just getting started in the crowded coffee shop market. staff were nice, owner asked how we liked the place, coffee was perfect and the pastries were on par with any place in the valley. Give it a try. you will be happy. and caffeinated!
The coffee here is definitely better than your average coffee shop. However you get what you pay for and you are definitely paying a premium here. The overall shop itself is pretty nice it has indoor and outside seating. Its quieter inside than most coffee shops but its small and offers limited seating. Service is excellent and very friendly. One major issue is parking, its very limited behind the actual shops. Overall I would come here again but it wont be my go-to stop for coffee in the area.
Amazing coffee! Outstanding and polite customer service, great atmosphere and impeccable attention to detail. Great espresso coffee drinks to include unique and delicious combos. The Borgia (orange mocha) and the Voodoo are musts. Love hanging out here - its my second home.
Had an unusual cup of coffee here, but it was unusual in a new and excitingly good way. Stuff you probably wont see at Starbucks because its different, but they also just have regular coffee. There isnt a lot of space to park and its a pretty small coffee shop. Still, they make good coffee.
Maybe the best cappuccino I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly despite their upscale coffee selection, and the pastries are actually delicious. I recommend the cheese danish and the tango pour over.
One of my 2 favorite coffee spots in the South Bay. You wont be disappointed.
You may wait a little longer than your typical chain coffee shop but the quality of the coffee you receive is well worth it. If I am craving a latte this is my go to and I have never been let down. The staff is very friendly and the beans they are using are top notch. Get your caffeine fix here!
Johnny is the raddest dude ever! It was my first time coming in there and I told him I didnt know what I wanted. He started describing the various popular drinks and I went with the Voodoo. It was so good! Thanks again johnny! Viva La Sweet And Tender Hooligans!
Its not a secret that I love coffee and I will find a coffee shop just about anywhere I go. This place has been one if my best finds. First things first, parking was pretty easy on a Saturday afternoon. The shop itself is on the smaller side but there was plenty of seating around. Now for the coffee. Their menu has some really interesting specialities, but I couldnt pass up a cafe brulee. Carmelized sugar on top of a cappuccino. It was heavenly. The espresso was smooth and perfectly pulled, the sugar sweetened it just enough and added a tiny bit of caramelized flavor to the drinkIf I actually lived in the area I suspect I would be here often, but alas
100% my favorite espresso coffee shop in Santa Clara County!!!! Not exactly sure why their espresso tastes so good and definitely has a great caffeine buzz to boot. Worth the drive to Campbell!
Amazing coffee, cool people!Try the voodoo 🤙🏼
The coffee here is amazing, and a great environment to get some work done at as well. The regulars get 75% of the baristas attention, if they were better about paying attention to every customer I would be over the moon. You have to wait a little to get your order put in, but once that happens the coffee comes out delicious and quick.
Its not bad. Coffee is roasted a little darker than other specialty places, so roast notes are predominant. Preparation is on point, though. Odd choices of coffee, though. They have a couple of blends on pour-over and then offer a single origin espresso.
Strategically located on Sir St. Frances Drake HW to Point Reyes, this place is a welcome refuge for those who managed to escape San Francisco traffic. It serves extremely tasty and healthy salads, and the portions are more than generous. We loved fish and yam chips too.
Coffee is good, but not great. I feel like that when I buy their beans too. They just need to step it up a bit. Interior is smallish and not super conducive to working or meeting. Overall its fine, but a bit meh.
Insanely good coffee. If you take dairy, and like chocolate, you will love love love The Voodoo. This place is the polar opposite of Starschmucks. Nice and quiet; very relaxing. Seating is limited, but I dont mind. There is a parking structure behind the store, which is super convenient. Dont miss the opportunity to try this place for yourself.
Pros: Good coffee and baristas. Cons: Employees are more enthusiastic about closing at sharp 5pm, but sloppy when it comes to refilling supplies.
Its our favorite coffee shop and best coffee by far. Love it!
Soo.. I came here a few times years ago, coffee was great, the people working here not so much; they were unnecessarily rude with a sense of superiority, so I didnt come back. BUT omg I came in today because I was in the area, and the workers were rock stars, so nice, helpful, and I felt extremely welcome. 😊
Barefoot Coffee is great! Did not disappoint. It is definitely one of the best coffee spots in the South Bay, but it doesnt quite measure up to the coffee up in San Francisco (I swear by Blue Bottle).I do like that they offer milk alternatives with Almond and Soy milk. Somewhat pricey for coffee, despite it being more artisanal.
Espresso, cappuccino, and drip coffee were all stellar.Pastries complemented the coffee well and werent sickeningly sweet. (The apple turnover was still slightly warm.)Disappointed that the pour over system was down, but that means Ill need to make another trip.
These guys have great coffee and service.
I was waiting for my car wash and was searching for nearby ☕ places and found this place. The staff was really good and also loved the coffee .
Iced voodoo is too notch
Best coffee in the Bay!!! Try the Mexican Mocha and Borgia. So good, but it can take a while to make sometimes. So dont expect your coffee immediately. The staff are all lovely!
Truly superb coffee - each beverage is carefully hand crafted, and delivered with a smile. While the coffee and service are both great, the place is warm and friendly - its not at all pretentious. The owners - Olly (sp?) and Jessica know their customers on a first name basis, and have cultivated a home away from home atmosphere. A truly great place!
I wish I could say this visit was the exception, but I always get strange/cold/subpar service every time I visit this location. Take your business elsewhere, Ill be doing the same.On my last visit here (1:30pm on a weekend), I saw drip coffee (batch brew) listed on the menu. I ordered it, and the cashier told me oh thats not available in the afternoon, nobody orders it. No apology, no alternative offered, nothing; this could have been avoided by a caveat on the menu stating limited quantity or unavailable after X o clock. So instead the only option for a drip coffee was a hand-pour, which was almost double the price.Second: The person I was with ordered a latte, simple. A few minutes pass, and the cashier calls out latte to go or similar, and pushes it onto the pickup area. We reach for it and the cashier tells us its not ours, that it belonged to someone else. Ok, why not shout out the name + order, especially with a common drink + packed house?
Fun, fast paced coffee shop. The employees are very nice and the coffee tastes great! It is a nice little atmosphere to hang out in.
Cozy local coffee shop with great baristas who consistently do good espresso extractions and steamed/foamed milk. Ive generally found their espresso to be more mild -- closer flavor to Verve, without the occasional astringency of Chromatic. They have *awesome* special drinks (check out the Voodoo if you want something with a mild sweetness with the richness of coconut milk). There isnt much seating inside, so its not the right place to occupy a table for hours with your laptop, but its the perfect spot to get an excellent coffee by yourself or with friends/family. The super friendly staff even spells my name correctly, so that automatically earns it an A+ in my book.
Definitely not the best in the Bay Area. Mocha was a little above average. The chocolate croissant I had was a piece of bread with two chocolate strips down the middle. Dont ruin good coffee with crappy pastries. Make something homemade instead of the previously frozen thing you served me. I sought this place out instead of going to one of 7 nearby Starbucks. And i think Im still having Starbucks.
Dependable, properly made espresso drinks, always 3 coffees on hand pour, and bags of recently roasted coffee served with a smile.
Good service, bad coffee(lattes)
