My small town does not really have a comic or game store. I found Heroes online so I made a special trip and drove about an hour and half to check it out. I was not disappointed. My wife and I arrived shortly after the store opened, and we were warmly greeted by Lucas and Summer. It is incredibly refreshing to find a place where people love to work. The store has a great old school vibe, and is layered deep with content - comics, cards, games, etc... I spent more than I had intended, and I plan on coming back in the near future. Great store, great selection, and incredible staff.

I’ve spent thousands of dollars here. So did my dad. It’s expensive but it’s a sellers market and Allen delivers a selection matched by only a handful of shops in the country can. But I’ve had several eye opening experiences lately. But”A couple of expensive wall books I’ve purchased of late, upon inspection have been wonky. So I should know better. I had too much trust. Also even if your an experienced guy you need to do your homework. Impulse be damned at Heroes.This last week I bought a $750.00 book. I had no idea current market on it. I had no idea I just paid more than three times what that book is selling for everywhere else. That’s my fault get what you can while you can. Just saying.The real reason I’m writing this is because again upon inspection at home the book is maybe worth $100 Maybe.The back cover has a massive crease like it was folded in half. No press in the world fixes this. This book hasn’t seen Near Mint since the 70’sSo upset at myself. I don’t response. I’m sure It was oversight right? And I’m sure they’ll take it back. Whatever.

Great staff. I enjoy the selection. They play movies on a high-placed screen. Figures, cards, and back issues also available.

Back issues of Silver/Bronze/Modern are pretty good deals. Selection and volume of current comics is good. Most everything else is pretty expensive for what it is--Magic:The Gathering, graded comics, Pokémon, key comics. They dont do sports cards anymore, but have added a little vintage/collectible video games to their inventory along with the cards already mentioned. Not the friendliest comic shop, but will treat you fairly and professionally.

First review but not first time shopper. Everytime I go in I am always pleased with the selection of new comics. Im always greeted and offered assistance. My kids and I also frequent free comic book day which is always great.Decided to finally write a review after my experienced yesterday (1/23/21). I was immediately greeted (sorry I didnt get the young mans name) and he offered assistance. Nothing pushy just a let me know if I can help. I did ask about certain comics for both my kids (tween boy and tween girl). I told him what they like and he gave excellent suggestions.I then inquired about Pokemon cards and he also assisted. I bought the newer single flat packs and while some reviewers complain about the price they seem the same price as other places (at least single flat packs). Plus these were the newest editions which most stores dont seem to carry. If I paid $1-2 more then Ill live. Its worth it to support this local business.Will definitely keep returning. I often buy comics for my kids or for my classroom and I always get great customer service and they have a great selection/variety.

This comic book store has been here for years. They have a ton of all the old favorites as well as new issues.The atmosphere inside is great and persons running the store are friendly and engaging.They also have collectable card sets and figures. Its a great place for anyone to check out.

The owner is an awesome guy and the selection of comic books and playing cards is beyond extraordinary. If you havent had the chance to check this place out I suggest you do it is definitely an experience of its own.

Heroes has a great selection and their staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I live 45 minutes away but still make the drive down every few month to get new paperback recommendations.

Its a comic book, magic, hot wheels, pokemon, and many other fantasy type collectables. Prices are reasonable, and their inventory is packed into their shop.Employees are very knowledgeable and friendly.

A lot of good stuff that you can get lost in the store.

Thought it would be cool to come check out a local shop and support them. Then you see that they mark up pokemon cards for double the amount. Literally 100 bucks for a box that should be 50. I understand that they are in high demand, but literally double?For what its worth, you can check out other consignment shops on amazon and they dont quite gouge, as much. around 70 instead of 100. I cant tell if they are nice like the reviews said as I nopped out of there real quickEdit: i was able to purchase what I was looking for for 50 ( THE MSRP) from Amazon, and Target. Not sure what they gain here.

Awesome store. Lots of older collectibles, all the new titles and a few other things too. The decor is covered with posters and memorabilia from everything to do with comics. Its definitely a haunt for the nerds and geeks of Campbell and the surrounding area. Glad I stopped by.

Heroes has a great supply of back issues from all eras. The prices are reasonable, and it is a fun place to discover or re-discover old favorites.

Alan and his team are great. They have the best selection of vintage and new comics in the bay area.

We cant be heroes, just for one day, but we can visit Heroes Comics in Campbell, California and get great service while looking through the latest in comics. Checkem out!

A nice and organized comics store with good customer service and a wide variety of gold, silver, bronze. I have never seen so many females come into a comic store before. This is a great place to explore and kill some time.

I went here to see if they bought baseball cards, they dont, but its okay, now I know a great place to find Deadpool comics. Plan on coming back. The lady who was working there was really nice.

Clerk was rude, unhelpful, and unresponsive. Very disappointed with my experience while there.

It makes my inner child jump for joy and my family enjoy it too... the ONLY thing I dont like are the employees constantly switching where they staind so they can keep an eye on you no matter what.

A good collection of old and new comics... and of course quite a few old and new collectibles too! If you are interested in reading comics or just collecting stuff, give them a visit. Its a nice, cozy place with a helpful staff.

Guy working the counter was nice but seemed new. When he went to ask the other guy my very specific question about an issue I was looking for, the other guy was busy talking and laughing with his friends that he not only gave me the wrong info... when I double checked with him he was dismissive and didn’t want to help.

Took my daughter and her friends to this comic book store in the Free Comic Book Day. Unlike two years ago when we went in same day, they limited only two free comic books to each person. Its kind of defeating the purpose. Marvel, DC and other comic books publishers want this opportunity to have curious readers or comic books fans to have a tease on the upcoming stories. If bookstores limited those free books then how readers or curious readers would know about it or get hooked?!!I really felt disappointed.The comic book store in Cupertino near freeway 85 was more into bringing readers to this magical world by not limiting free copies of comic books.

Even with a busy day like Free Comic Book Day, every worker here was very patient and kind and helpful. I bought...... 40 comics?Will come back again soon.

Not very friendly.I usually always get my comics bagged for me when I buy the backing or asked if it was ok to bag.I found it rude that the plastic sleeve/backing was just placed with all my books and just a check and go.Also they wouldnt hold a comic for me. They said they have so many it wouldnt be a problem when there was only one copy of the cover I specially asked for(most of the comic places didnt have any copies when I called) and 2 copies left of the A cover.

Nice, friendly local shop. Good collection of recent back issues of current comics. Good collection of trade paperbacks, though sometimes Ive had trouble finding what Im looking for. Lots of fun on free comic book day. A little cramped -- theyve got a lot of stuff in a small space. Still, its my go-to comics shop.

I come to this place once in a while to pick up old Pokémon cards from the 90s. I love the staff that worked there, very helpful each time I go there. I recommend this place a lot, (not in sketchy area either) 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Price gouging is wrong. $59.99 for a fatpack is silly. I am a avid magic player and have shopped around. This is among the highest prices for this product you will see. I took my son there on a Wednesday at 1:30. Walked around while the person working ignored us and talked to his friend. After 10 min and trying to get help his friend leaves and the guy rudely helps me. Ill be taking my $$ elsewhere from now on. 2nd time Ive gotten poor service.
