Im about a month late writing this review, but I wanted to take the time to write this. Many of us tend to review the negative experiences and forget to review the positive. While on vacation in the Finger Lakes region, we had the misfortune of having our car break down at a state park about an hour from Canadaigua. We had it towed to Victory Honda on a Sunday. I called at 7:30am Monday and spoke with Luke. He said the car would be pulled in that morning but he couldnt guarantee when they could diagnose it. He called later that morning to tell us the codes indicated a bad high pressure fuel pump (our symptoms were the car would turn over but wouldnt keep running and the check engine and ABS lights were on). When he quoted the repair price (~$1500) I asked how sure was he that that was the problem and he said a master mechanic looked at it and he was confident the high pressure fuel pump was the problem. So, I told him to proceed. They didnt have the part in stock and had to order it.The pump arrived Tuesday, but it was missing two critical metal tubes that were required for the install (I cant recall the reason now, but the original tubes couldnt be reused. It might have had something to do with how they were crimped when installed so they just couldnt be reused???). We discussed a work around and other options. He said hed do more checking. Luke called back that afternoon to say his warehouse in Florida had those pipes/tubes and he could get it in Wednesday and installed by Thursday. We asked about a possibility of a loaner, and Luke put us into a loaner that we kept the entire time the car was being worked on (free of charge). Without that, our anniversary vacation would have been radically different, as most car rental places were either out of cars or an hour from where we where staying (and taking an Uber or Lift for an hour would have cost a fortune).Luke called back Wednesday around noon to say the part wouldnt arrive until Thursday morning and would be installed by c.o.b. Thursday. We were called Thursday and was told FedEx messed up and the part wouldnt arrive until Friday morning by 9:30am. We were starting to be concerned because we had to head back home Saturday morning (a 10 hour drive) and I had hoped to test it a bit before the long road trip home. The mechanic did all the work he could and was just waiting on those tubes to finish up.On Friday, they completed all the work and we picked up the car that afternoon. There were a few hiccups along the way. Someone at the warehouse probably should have checked that everything was in the box. At the end of the day though, Luke and Victory Honda did everything in their power to get the parts and get the job done. We appreciate his help and really appreciate being able to get a loaner to save our anniversary trip!FYI: We have NOT had any problems with the car since it was serviced at Victory Honda.
They serviced my car and never charged meGreat place
I’m sure many have had a great experience here. Mine was so-so. When quoted a price for my vehicle I was quoted not only well below KBB value, but well below what another company gave me for it. The gentleman I worked with told me his boss said 6500 (ball park) was the very most they could do. Factored in a 1k “reconditioning” cost too. I was going to purchase a vehicle here but ultimately I felt like they were trying to pull one over on me. I went up the road to Auto Outlets and sold my car for 9k. The things that Victory Honda said were an issue did not come up as an issue at Auto Outlets. There were still factors that reduced what they could give me, but not the same things Victory said. You should be able to trust that a dealership is there to work with you to help you get the best deal. I didn’t get that feeling at all.Now for the positives- Corrine who I interfaced with was very friendly, and they were prompt in letting me come to test drive the vehicle. Ultimately I ended up at Bob Johnson with the same vehicle, with less miles, for a lower price, and they recovered the seats from fabric to leather for me free of charge.
Late on posting this review. Terrible experience. Stole my license plate frame, ripped my license plate off. Way low balled my car, should have taken and traded in elsewhere. said a car that had a tires that were a year old needed new tires.Standard sleazy Car Dealership Avoid at all costs
Over the summer, I visited this location in hopes to purchase a car. I looked at a 2017 Honda Fit. I never bought the car because it was way over our monthly budget. Fine right? Nope. Since the summer my phone and mailbox has been loaded with spam call and letters all about my Honda Fit “warranty”. Strange how the only place I’ve ever looked at a fit was at this location. Couldn’t stay within a set budget, but can sell peoples information? After purchasing and leasing cars from other dealerships I have never had as many spam call and letters as I have after visiting this location, and I will never visit location again due to this. If you want to receive countless calls and letters be sure to visit victory Honda!
I bought the car on 2/6/18 not in September of 2017; the car sat on the lot for 5 months before I bought it and I bought it with 46k miles however when the title came it had incorrect mileage on it. Also I never received lemon law paperwork from previous dealership.Absolutely terrible experience from both sales and service. I reported them to the BBB over a month ago about this issue, they never responded! My complaint was submitted on 11/12/19.I read your response to me:Just to validate my complaint my name for the BBB complaint is Julianna Fuqua, sorry about the confusion. Am absolutely am not commenting on the wrong business.Do you assume all bad reviews are me? Christopher Fuqua is my husband and had a bad experience as well therefore we both left a bad review. I never went more than 6k miles without an oil change and have documentation which I have shared with Honda corporation and was validated. However, Honda corporation told me that Victory Honda and Ontario Honda are both at fault for the failure of my car and that Honda corporation could not assist me because of the error in documentation.Probably the reason you think it has been so long in between oil changes; your missing information.None of this changes the fact that VICTORY Honda did not respond to the BBB complaint about the damage to my car CAUSED by the failure of there service department manager, Russ. Russ informed me that I should not add oil, even with it below the dipstick claiming it would mess up the oil consumption test, after getting a second opinion when my car was ruined due to me driving it with no oil I was informed that the oil consumption test was being done incorrectly. Edited on 12/29/19. Which means it has now been 1.5 months since I reported them to the BBB for fraudulent work.1/29/2020- I like how you changed your businesses response from being absolutely disrespectful to the one you currently have. Lucky for me and all people who may want to do business here I took screenshots of your original response. 👍Also this company claims they gave me certain free services, when I bought my car it came with free oil changes so this is not something that Victory Honda is doing to be helpful its something they are required to do became it was grandfathered in from Ontario Honda.Victory Honda also refused to assist with the financial burden of my Honda which they caused me after telling me to drive with no oil. My car broke down the Day after I was at Victory Honda to follow up on the oil consumption test (which I had done several times before) and Russ (service manager) informed me I could leave and I asked if he put oil in my car. He said No, its fine after documenting that there was No oil on the dipstick.Russ started to contacted the DPSM to see if I he could get me assistance. Meanwhile I received an email to review this business which I was honest in doing. The following morning my husband received a threatening call from Russ the manager where he stated You burned us talking about the review I left; Russ then Promptly said BECAUSE we left a bad review he was not going to give me assistance with the cost of fixing my car.
This was my first car buying/leasing experience and it was excellent from beginning to end! Thank you so much Dennis and Katie!
Recently moved to beautiful Canandaigua, our family expanding and even though I wanted a Truck... the reasonable and practical option was the minivan.Naturally I looked for every possible van review out there and only 1 minivan was constantly mentioned for being the best, the Honda Odyssey.Victory Honda isnt too far from us so I decided to take a look at their inventory, website was nice with great photos so I decided to take the next step, calling in to set up an appointment to test drive. Now, I usually hate this part because youll get some arrogant car sales bro-dude, well not here. I was connected to Ann, my sales person. We showed up to the dealership with my 2 and 1 year old, any parents reading this know this can be a tough outing. We were warmly greeted by staff (including Bill the manager) and Ann was there every step of the way. She answered all our questions, was personable and great with our little ones. Never felt pressure, yes we were conducting business but we never felt like the dealership was pressuring us to buy right that moment. Anyone whos ever had a bad dealership experience knows what Im talking about here. After the test drive my wife and I still needed more time to think and budget,we said we would take some time. Ann and 1Bill kept in touch, never pushy. We had some back and forth discussions and finally settled on amicable terms. We went back to the dealership and the process was fast and streamlined, I loved it. The price you agree on is the price you get, there was no bait and switch. Scott the finance was great, very personable.I have to mention Katie, who was also another super star. At times our 2 year old son would get a little bored and out of control, this could have easily killed the deal simply because we wouldnt be able to stay at the dealership long enough to sign anything. She was great with him, patient and caring for him, took him around and even played with him... it really meant the world to us. Thank you.Honda to me represents reliability and practicality. Victory Honda of Ontario delivered service and quality, its a pleasure to have done business and my family and I look forward to doing business with them again. We love knowing that we have a quality product and a quality team behind us. We love our new Honda Odyssey and Victory Honda!
Very poor customer service. I explained to them multiple times to the service team along with adding it to the drop box information envelope and I was assured that it was complete. Yet when I picked my vehicle up only half the service was performed. There excuse was they make mistakes. I hope me and my family dont pay with our lives because they made a mistake with my airbag recall replacement.Update: The customer service manager reached out to me and asked for a second chance. I was able to get the service I had requested with prompt and in a timely manner. He assured me they are making every effort to meet the customers needs.
I visited Victory Honda and then a few days later we went to Ide Honda. COMPLETELY opposite experiences! Victory Honda’s saleswoman and finance manager weren’t helpful, it seemed as though they didn’t even try and were just trying to bust our pockets for their own benefit. We let them know our budget from the beginning and the finance manager shot down a new car before we even talked about details with a price out of our range. They never gave me a price for my trade-in or acknowledged my coupons, then turned around and said the pre-owned wouldn’t work and I’d have to get the new car. They told us to leave and come back to get the payment in our budget, stringing us along to in the end tell us a higher price than they did the first time. We had spent 4-5 hours for absolutely no reason! I was so frustrated I said I would never return again! Ide Honda was an amazing experience with helpful and upfront staff, very informative and genuine. Don’t even bother with Victory, Ide deserves your business! Not to mention the Ann at Victory deliberately ignored the fact that my girlfriend and I were in fact partners and continuously referred to us as “friends” even though it was very clear we are partners. Kind of offensive.
The sales people are friendly professional and very quick
Try to buy car there told them I would put 8000.0 down on the car salesman said ok he went to the head salesman and came back and showed me the deal I said where is my 8000.00 im putting down he said its there I said where he said ya let me talk to the head salesman he came back said its there ok27000 mines 8000 00 isnt 27000 I said by and walked out and said to my girlfriend that place tried to steal 8000 from me wow went to Ralph Honda they took care of me thanks Ralph Honda
Was told I needed to reschedule after showing up to a scheduled recall appointment that I spoke to someone on the phone about twice. The explanation was the mechanic did not have enough time because they dont do recalls on weekends (someone scheduled me on a Saturday). When I rescheduled for a Wednesday evening a few weeks later, I was told that I would need to reschedule again becuase they dont do recalls this late in the day (the person who scheduled me told me this time slot was the latest one they had but would work). Needless to say, I will not be returning to this dealership for service in the future.
The team at Victory Honda are exemplary! Great people, especially the guys at the service desk. Really am enjoying my new CRV hybrid your.
Never in 100 years, did I think I would be able to afford a Honda! Especially a brand new 2020 Honda! When my 17 yr old Saturn died, I went to Honda to look. The finance men and women worked a lot of magic and got me into a beautiful, fun and fantastic new Honda Fit! All within a matter of a couple of hours! Thank You! Victory Honda of Ontario! Every single person in the building was so helpful and nice! It was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend anyone looking for great customer service and truly exceptional people; Go to Victory Honda of Ontario!
I have been coming to this Honda dealership for decades now. That tells you something right there. And though the faces may have changed over the years, the tremendous service, honesty, trust, and attention to doing it right the FIRST time has never wavered. Luke, Jeff, and Allan are all knowledgable and friendly up front. The Service Manager, Russ, is efficient, friendly, and really knows cars. Likewise, all the techs including Tim and Ron are honest, hard working, and will do whatever it takes at the BEST cost to the customer, to get the job done! One of the many things I love about the employees at Victory Honda is their willingness to offer options for the repairs that are needed. They are NOT out to make the most money from you, but to repair your vehicle the best possible way! Business Development Manager, Corrine, is forever on top of things making sure that all runs smoothly . . . which it does. I wish I could give them more than five stars. They deserve TWENTY-FIVE stars . . . at least!!! BRAVO, Victory Honda of Ontario!
Had a great experience. The staff was all very friendly and very helpful. After some chatting, they were willing to work with my budget that I gave. Once we made the deal, the team worked quickly to do all of the necessary paperwork, even helped me out with getting my title for my trade-in (I had lost it). Drove out the day we made the deal and were very accommodating with allowing me to come back the next day to wrap up some loose ends. Thank you to Tony and Bill for making this work and taking in my old RAV! And Thanks to Scott and Jeff for doing all of the fun financial paperwork
Free, unexpected, loaner car while my vehicle was there for a major service appointment. Other dealers make you rent the supposed loaners. Definitely will return here on this fact alone!
Went to victory honda today had a check tire pressure light that kept driving me crazy, Luke the service adviser took my honda right in and explained that I had a bad tire sensor, part was right in stock which means there parts department is on point with what is needed and the price for the job was very good, thanks to the service department im back on the road and rolling, thanks a lot guys Ill be back 👍🏻
I experienced a lot of pain after an oil change. Parts left off- crankcase plug frozen. Service team needs more training. AVOID
Great service and nice people. Helpful and respectful. Would recommend for people to purchase from here.
I bought a 2018 honda CRV in January. The CRV had some issues to be fixed if i bought it .I bought the vehicle with the understanding it would be fixed as discussed. I asked for it to be put in writing. I was told that we are not like that. It will be fixed. Against my better judgement i let it go. ALWAYS get it in WRITING, no matter what, that way everyone is clear about it! other than that Al was great, along with Kevin as well as the manager [altough he never got back to me as i was told he would ] Iam happy with the vehicle and can live with what they were supposed to correct.
Scott You man was a really great person to deal with. Very helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back here again
I love my car. 2019 Honda CVR.
I received an offer from Victory for my leased 2018 Honda CR-V in the mail to get me into a new 2020 CR-V at a lower monthly cost. Scott did exactly that and Im now driving a brand new CR-V for less money than I was paying before! Cant beat that!
Different name but the same nice attitudes.
So far so good
Incredibly friendly, down to earth, and accommodating staff. I worked directly with Bill the GM who was willing to work with my budget and find me the best car he had on the lot! From test drive to driving home, I was done in only a few hours! It was a stress free process and now I have a reliable, low mileage, used car that I am thrilled with! Couldnt be happier! Thanks!
Technical support team always excellent. Jeff presented as a well heeled, immaculately dressed professional with a thorough explanation of diagnostics & outstanding knowledge of auto-mechanics. Aside from this he was courteous& thoughtful. Sincerely, Mary G.
Our experience was nothing but the best. We have bought many cars from all types on dealers, and our experience with Victory was first class. From Tony, our sales rep, Dave, your regional rep, to Jeff our fiance person, it was all great. Thanks for everything.Bill & Ginger Rumsey
Wasted 3 hours of my time, have a 720 credit score (b4 they ran 7 times) and was called being told they figured out a way to make it work, called back and was offered something 100 over my budget, thats putting 4000 down on a 13500 vehicle. Id assume youd be able to just tell me, sorry we cant come close to that for you, but they sat and acted like it was a valid option, you know what a budget is right guy???
It has been many years since I have purchased a new car. I was seeking to purchase a 2020 Civic Si only to find out Honda doesnt make many of this model and this year, less were delivered due to the Pandemic shutting down factories. After the factory reopened, for months Victory Honda communicated extremely well with me (Corrine) to locate a car from their other store and bring it to Canandaigua for me. The experience with Ann and Bill (sales team) was absolutely amazing. Ive never had such an incredible car buying experience in my entire life! They are extremely courteous, knowledgeable, out of the ordinary car sales people. Ive already told so many family and friends of my excellent car purchasing experience. My boyfriend and I went home with not only the new 2020 Civic Si but also with a pre-owned 2020 Ridgeline truck!! What an exciting day for us to become part of this Honda family. Highly recommended.
I recently purchased a Honda CRV. They helped me out of a Toyota lease with too many miles. It was a great experience from start to finish! I highly recommend Victory Honda of Ontario!
Great sales and service
I had a great experience here and everyone was super friendly and helpful. They have earned my business for life.
Last Saturday my wife and I drove over 1 1/2 hours to get an official trade in price on my 2018 Honda Accord LX with less than 20000 miles on it. They offered me $500 more for my trade but wanted $371 more from me to buy the Honda Accord LX 2021. They kept their word on the trade in price and selling price. However they failed to tell me in advance that Victory Honda has a $149 accessory charge for wheel locks that they would not drop. So instead of being at least $129 ahead I would be loosing $20. So no deal.Nevertheless I must say that by Victory Honda overall coming within $20 of a dealership that over the last 25 years has sold me a new Honda Accord LX every 3 years, have really done themselves proud.Anyone in the Rochester area needs to give Victory Honda a look before buying. Stay alert and know all the figures involved. Their price beat Ide Honda.Victory Honda which has a great looking atmosphere and great personal. Corrie worked extremely hard to get to a selling point. Ann was very easy to talk to on Saturday when I was just there for an official estimate of my trade. The manager Mike Stezer gave me the $17000 trade in price but could not close the deal because the $149 wheel lock mandatory accessory could not be removed or some other adjustment made in my favor.Overall I had a good experience even though no sale was made.
The Service here is second to none! Amazing people and so friendly. They go out of there way when it comes to customer service! Thank you to everyone for making me feel at home!
All remolded inside with a topnotch coffee maker from the future, everyone is very nice no complaints
I worked with Sales (Dennis) and enjoyed the experience with Victory Honda. Jeff also worked with me from Finance. They were an exceptional team!
Very good lease service, very competitive and no fees when we dropped the car after 3 years! I recommend.
Quick service, although I was the only customer there, I think. They wanted to sell me tires although the treads on mine look fine.
Andy was very friendly and helpful and made my car buying experience a breeze. Actually all the staff were awesome. They even fed me pizza for lunch with was appreciated. 😊
Working with Ann Pangman Esterman to purchase our Fit was a delight from start to finish. She shared options for our car needs, so we were able to stay informed through the process. She doesnt push; she nurtures you through the difficult processes.Bill Calandro was also supportive throughout the process and honored the time and care we had spent on our truck, which we traded in.Jeff, the financial whiz, delighted us with his humor and adventures!
Our salesman Ed was one of a kind guy to remember. Professional, understanding and honest person. In the hunt for a vehicle we met with many shady I want to take your money salesman. But when we met Ed, we knew this was different. Even with the waiting Ed was communicating with us and reassuring us that all is well. We had many choices but we believe this was the best choice. Thanks Ontario Honda
Jeff Colletta is the best
Service is the best
I love the reliability of our cars. We own two sedans. Victory Honda of Ontario provides the absolute best service for our vehicles. We only go to Victory when servicing our cars.
After reading some of the terrible reviews for Victory Honda, as I shop for a new vehicle next week guess where I WONT be going! Your responses to the unsatisfied customers is sorry but nothing about what you plan to do to make them whole again. They should report you to the attorney General. You should be ashamed of yourselves.......................................................................................I read your response to me, this is not a fake account, I dont know about the other ones you claim to be fake. But I was a potential REAL customer. Since you claim I am fake then so be it. Then you dont want my fake business. Ill buy my mini van elsewhere. If you would accuse a potential customer of being fake, then youre a very poor business. You could have explained what happened to your irate customer, and not accused a new customer of being a fake account.
My purchasing experience with Victor has been excellent. I have been working with this dealership since 2008 when I purchased a Civic. I have been very satisfied with Honda and this will be my third one; a CRV. I have worked with Ed Steinbach since 2008 and he has provided great service and a good source of information about Honda vehicles. I also extensively use the Victory service department and have never had a problem. I highly recommend Ed and Victory if you are in the market for a new vehicle.I compared the CRV to other small SUVs. I purchased the CRV because I am very comfortable with the electronic features and handling.
I am on my third lease from Ontario Honda. Tony DeTraglia was highly recommended to me from the beginning and has made each experience a joy. He is honest, professional and always willing to answer your questions. He is excellent at demonstrating/explaining all the car features. He is the reason I keep coming back to Ontario Honda. Loving my new ride!
Our salesman, Dennis Flur, was very knowledgeable and professional. He made buying a car at Victory Honda a pleasant experience.
Very friendly staff. Complementary water and coffee while you wait.
Excellent! I cannot say enough good things regarding our experience at Victory Honda of Ontario. No pressure and very fair.
Have come here for a few recall items on my Honda Element, just because theyre the closest Honda dealer around, and have always been pleased with the service Ive gotten. They dont push extra work and the waiting area is comfortable and nice. We do almost all our own work on our cars, but if we ever need to have something done we cant handle, wed definitely consider coming here to get it done!
I called for information. Ed Steinbach couldnt have been more rude or disinterested in helping me
I bought my 2015 civic here a few months ago and love it. The only issue I had was I was told that they were going to take 700 hundred dollars off the purchase price and that the car was already Honda certified, but after everything was said and done they told me that it wasnt Honda certified. In order to certify it they would only be able to give me 500 hundred dollars off the purchase price. Plus, the only reason I found out was I read the contract before I signed it. Kind of shady...
This place is a great place to work with. They take good care of their worker and their families. They even treat their customers very well.
My 2012 Honda Civic has over a hundred thousand miles and Im still getting over 36 miles to the gallon. The people that Ontario Honda still treat me as if I were a new customer, always with courtesy honesty and prompt service. I was so completely satisfied that one my wife needed a new car we went there and she too is happy.. I would highly recommend Ontario County Honda to anyone shopping for a new vehicle
The waiting area was comfortable. They had stacks of magazines to read, sweets to indulge your sweet tooth, comfortable seating, microwave to heat up your foods and hot beverages. The waiting wasnt long but I truly enjoyed getting an answer to my decades long wonderment: How the heck did they get cars in the building? A hilarious moment between me and the salesman coming up with the wildest imagination reminded me we are all kids at heart in an adult body. Wonderful place but far.
Wonderful, friendly, low pressure staff. I was given a very low price for a car, but when I got there they could not find the car the person I spoke with referenced. However, they still honored the original price she gave me! This dealership is not very close to my home, but I am willing to go here because of the wonderful service. I would highly recommend them!
Absolute home run experience. I was encountering a dashboard board full of warning lights on my Ridgeline so I contacted Ontario Honda Service Department and they were able to get me an appointment at 8am the following day. I arrived and was greeted with positive energy technicians who seemed genuinely interested in making sure my needs were met. I was provided a courtesy car, 2018 accord with only 2k miles and sent on my way. Later on in the afternoon I received the good news that the vehicle was done and all repairs would be covered under warranty, saving me almost two thousand dollars! I will buy my next Honda here, they walk the talk on customer service, well done Ontario Honda!
Amazing customer service. Highly recommend. Comfortable atmosphere. Friendly people. Already told friends/ family to check them out
Buying a car is normally a very stressful experience. Our salesman Ed Newell was very attentive listening to all our needs and not trying to sell us what we didnt need or want. The manager was very nice coming over and talking with us. Its the most relaxed auto buying experience we have ever had.
Not at all pleased with the attitude taken by service department over problems with rust developing under the paint of my wifes 2019 Honda. Theyre telling us that there is nothing they can do about it and informing us we have to drive twenty miles from here to have it looked at does not sit well with me. I will certainly take this into consideration when choosing my next car.....One very unhappy Honda owner.
When I made my appointment for service, I thought it would be a quick stop at the end of the workday. While things didnt go quite as planned, Brian and his team showed absolutely incredible customer service by going above and beyond to help make an unexpected extra expense less painful. Thank you for all of your help and hard work done with a smile. Youve gained another loyal customer.
Nice waiting area. Appreciated the fresh donut. Service person came out to the truck after I paid because the engine light was on. He got a sensor instrument and checked . Apparently it was an issue related to vapor detection so he reset it and the light went out. He said it may come back on and it did. I will bring the truck back when the inspection is up in February so you can reset it again as part of the inspection. Really appreciated the time he committed to address the issue. Also felt the oil change price was reasonable.
Made appointment 10 days in advance for Honda Fit airbag recall replacement. Drove 1 hour each way through ice, snow and wind to make it to the appointment. After all that they hadnt ordered the part and couldnt make the repairs. Inexcusable and unforgivable. I was furious! Then their director of Customer Relations Corinne OMalley offered to pick up my car at my home, leave me hers, take care of the repair, and return with mine. I took her up on the offer. She truly went the extra mile, or literally the extra 140 miles (2 round trips at 35 miles one way!). While their computer system doesnt rate 5 stars, their focus on customer satisfaction more than makes up for it! VERY impressive. 5 stars!!!
Hello, My name is Pat OConnor, and Jenna let me do a review on her account because I do not have a gmail of my own. I jumped on Jennas because I really wanted to review Charlie Mendez because I had such a good experience! Besides already talking him up to Jenna, I have told everyone I know what a good experience I have had. I cant say the process was smooth, but that actually speaks more to how great Charlie was. There were a couple of issues I ran into, and Charlie stuck with me the whole time. He has gone above board to help me and get the car that I wanted. I hope Charlie stays with Honda, because if he leave I will be looking for another car company. That is the kind of person Charlie is. He is not just a salesperson, he becomes a friend. And no- I did not know him ahead of time, he found me wandering the parking lot! I am referring EVERYONE I know to Charlie Mendez!
The service department was amazing. Had a minor issue while traveling through and they were able to get my vehicle in and repaired quickly so we could get back on the road.
Very helpful people great honest people definitely happy I bought a car here I am very pleased definitely coming here again if I buy another car 😊
Outstanding! David made my purchase experience a pleasure and kept me regularly informed while I waited for just the right vehicle to arrive at the dealership. He then professionally executed the transaction and I left pleased with my experience. Ill be back for servicing of my new ride.
I have always had a positive experience at Ontario Honda. The service people are courteous and knowledgeable and the sales people are never pushy. Highly recommend them!
I have great confidence in the employees at Ontario Honda. Twice, when I visited an out of state garage, I was given a long list of things they said needed to be done to my car.. Each time, I called Ontatio Honda to discuss the list and was glad to learn that more than half of their recommendations was not needed at that time. The crew in the service center know my car inside out. I have never felt “ripped off” during any of my service calls. Having that feeling of confidence in what they do and how they do it ranks very high in my book.
Very nice place and courteous people. Went to get VSA checked. Triangle with exclamation inside it was staying lit. They diagnosed problem. No pressure, just let us know what was going on with car and what our options were. Yes, I would go back.
Boy do I have a story for you! **READ FULL REVIEW**More concerned with getting good surveys than actually providing the good customer service to earn them; and 0 accountability. If experiencing stress, financial loss, deplorable customer service and being disrespected isnt up your alley... do NOT do business with this dealership.Ive been coming here for years, but never again under this new ownership. My wife bought a 2014 CR-V well taken care of lease return (that turned out to be auctioned junk) from Ontario Honda; yes, this is still a Victory Honda review. She reported issues with sounds coming out of the engine and oil consumption. The same Service Manager under both Ontario Honda AND Victory Honda messed up the documentation of the oil consumption test so bad that it couldnt be covered under warranty. Russ- the NEW Service Manager, took over the oil consumption test and told my wife do NOT put oil in it until the no oil light comes on, only let us do that and then also told my wife its fine to drive the vehicle with oil below the dipstick and let her drive away like that. THE NEXT DAY her dashboard lights up and she gets stranded on the Thruway. After this documentation mess and damage to our vehicle that Victory Honda of Ontario has directly been the cause of, the Service Manager said well, Im not paying for it and gives us a $1,400.00 bill (BEFORE replacing the pistons) to repair the damage theyve caused. Russ mentioned they MAY be able to offer us goodwill assistance. So we go up front to the sales department to see if they could help us get rid of this problem car since Victory Honda is the reason it didnt even last us 1.5 years. And they tried to sell us a Purple Fit that CLEARLY had an aftermarket front bumper cover on it (had been in an accident) with a paint job that had fish eyes in it for hundreds over the highest suggested retail value and refused to budge on it. Then low balled us on our car because its been in an accident. During attempts to negotiate the Sales Manager literally told my wife he would draw her a map to another Honda dealership.Still waiting to hear back on the goodwill assistance my wife was emailed a survey to rate her experience so far. She left an honest and legitimate survey of her experience thus far (at that time). The next day Russ called me and said that because we burned them with bad survey she left (which does directly affect his pay) they are unwilling to offer us goodwill assistance on the damage (theyve directly caused) to our vehicle and that they do not wish to do future business with us; essentially banning us from the dealership. The sales department later called and told us they didnt want our business anymore either. We left this dealership upside down on a lease return that didnt even last us 1.5 years, now has MAJOR engine problems, been disrespected and banned.
This is the 3rd Honda that we have bought from Ontario Honda and the second from Tony DeTraglia.Tony is very knowledgeable about all of the vehicles and easy to work with. Laura and Paul also contributed to make this a pleasant experience. Thanks everybody.
Right from the start, we knew we would love working with Tony. His laid back approach was a very refreshing change from the typical high-pressure sales situation. He had a lot of insight and knowledge, and explained all the features of the various models we test drove. It was clear that he believes in the product hes selling, and was so incredibly genuine. We cant say enough about what a positive experience it was to buy our car from Ontario Honda!
We purchased a used car from Victory Honda and had a great experience. I highly recommend them.
Keep off this dealer. They will ripe you off. They gave me a trade in price $5000 below other dealers gave me. Don’t go there and their manager is very very rude .
I have been a Ontario Honda customer since 1985, and I have stayed with them in large part because of their excellent service and customer support. The newly-remodeled facility I visited today was comfortable and sparkling clean. I called this morning for an appointment to have a recalled airbag inflator replaced and they were able to get me in this afternoon. They estimated the work would take about an hour; it was done in 45 minutes. Brian, the service rep, was friendly and knowledgeable. Taking the time to get your car fixed is not something one looks forward to, but Ontario Honda goes all out to make it a pleasant experience.
Double checked on a key fob issue while in for an oil change. Rob worked diligently to correct what I had been told was a battery issue with both key fobs. Turns out that isnt the problem. Will work more on the problem next time and will get a loaner so they have the day to fix. Seems a weird computer glitch. Til next time!🌞
We dealt with Tony DeTraglia. We visited the dealership about 4 times to drive vehicles over and over again. He always treated us with respect. There were a couple times he either failed or was slow to return our phone calls. He seemed quite honest when talking with him and was quite nice. I think, however, he was overworked. He always seemed very busy with his work. He certainly knew his stuff about all the models of Honda he sold. He did not try to sell us the vehicle HE wanted to sell. He tried, simply, to discern which type of vehicle WE wanted even though we did not know which it was. The dealership as a whole felt a little cold. None of the employees we dealt with were overly outgoing or overly welcoming. They were all just OK. The biggest problem I had with Tony was that I kept asking him for his bottom line price and it kept changing. Finally, after a few days, it went down because I told him I called other dealerships for their prices. Finally, he gave me a price which was lower than other dealerships.
People were great. Brian does a wonderful job of making sure everything goes smoothly. Waiting area very comfortable.
Ive been taking advantage of the free oil changes on cars bought here for the last 6 years! Staff are polite and helpful. Great car dealership.
Did not even get a call back to let us know if we got approved or not which is very rude. Drove a hour to the dealership just to get ignored. Very disappointed but it’s ok cause we got approved for a better vehicle at the price we wanted
It was so great to just show up and everything had been done for me - license plates, insurance, etc. I just had to drive away in my new CRV!
We negotiated a used CRV. Went in 3 times to look at it and talk it over. Called in the morning and said we were coming in at 5 to purchase it to the sales manager, Ken Horn, plus our sales woman came in on her day off. We were finishing the financing and were told Ken sold the car 10 minutes earlier. When questioned he was completely unprofessional and rude. We will NEVER again do business with Victory Honda of Ontario. This company is not the same caliber as Ontario Honda
Andy was super helpful getting me out of my old car and into an new honda. I love my new Honda CRV. Everyone at the dealership was extremly nice and very helpful. Thank You, Andy and Victory Honda of Ontario
Great service as always, clean waiting area and now they have a cappuccino espresso machine!
Newly remodeled helpful staff that goes out of their way to help. Great products great service. Just bought my 5th Honda. I got a really great deal on it. Tony D is the one who helped me make it happen. Kudos to Victory Honda of Ontario.
We had a great experience at Ontario Honda. I love my new car and will definitely go backThanks to all, including Ed.
Awesome experience. Brian and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They have my business moving forward!
Bob was the best - he took the time to entertain our unconventional buying inquiry! Tony and Stefanie were great, too. A wonderful experience all around. No games.
The service is warm and friendly and very professional
Fast and courteous service. Was easy to make an appointment.
What a great first time leasing experience!! The folks at Ontario Honda are amazing!! Definitely recommend them!
My visit to Ontario Honda was to replace my cars dead battery. I really appreciated the sense of urgency the service staff showed in fixing the problem during a period of extreme cold. I feel Ive always gotten great service here.
