They have everything you need without having to go to a BIG box company. They may not have a varity of the same product but they have something that will work. All of the employees were extremely friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. We will be back often.

Highly recommend! I had an issue with a Weber Grill I purchased here. They delivered a replacement to my house immediately, no questions asked. Best customer service I have experienced in quite some time.

Plants are expensive. Every plant that I bought at Ace didnt survive. One hedge plant was $30, Attendant called it a Whataburger Bush. Another was $15. Smaller ones at$8. All died!

The best part of this Ace is their employees. They are so helpful and you do not have to go all over the store looking for someone to help you like at other stores. Their selection is outstanding. I still am amazed at how much they can pack into that store. To top it off, their owners are outstanding people who are always willing to help the community.

One of my favorite stores in the area. They take pride in their store. Its a really cool hardware store that has much more going on than just that. Prices are a little higher than your larger chains but its to be expected when considering the rural setting. Very clean and highly recommended if you are in the area and have the time.

I frequently shop here and with the added advantages of the ACE app this store has a vast array of items available. The staff is friendly and they have a quick and friendly check out up front with minimum wait times. Order online or like I do browse at your leisure for those difficult to find items at the big box stores.

I went there to get a pair of gloves for work. They have a very good selection to choose from. The prices are a little on the high side, but considering the alternative, driving 15 miles to the H.D. in New Braunfels, I cant complain about the few extra coins. The employees are friendly . the location is easily accessible. And they do not require a face mask. To me that alone makes it worth coming here.

If you want to pay a premium price for what you can buy 30% cheaper 30 minutes away from a store that doesnt care about customers or stand behind the products they sell this is your place. I get better help from the big box stores. How sad that this once small town business has degrated to this point!

I love their ship-to-store option! All the employees are so helpful and friendly, and go above and beyond. The garden guru is very knowledgeable and kind to take time and give advice, even though you can tell shes very busy!

This place is the bomb!! It is like the Mega-Ace Hardware Superstore and had everything I needed and more. Plus the employees and owner are super nice and helpful.

What I love most about Ace Hardware is they almost ALLWAYS have what I need.

Love this store has one of the best bolt bins I have seen for easy access to what you maybe looking for. Also a great place to find native Texas plants with good customer service and knowledgeable professionals who work there that can answer questions or point you in the right direction for just about any project you maybe working on.

Very good service...and can make key copies for what the competition cant.

Went here to get a new key for my truck. I was in and out with the programmed key in about 30 mins. They man making my key was friendly and seemed to know qhat he was doing. Its been a month and the key is working great.

Had everything I needed, decent R.V. section, pricing was a little high.

I love this Ace... its big and they have a little bit of everything... its so fun to look through this store! The variety is amazing and some of the items are totally unique and relevant to the area which is so nice.

Went looking for a few items - didnt find what I wanted.

Only place around I can find animal safe antifreeze. With all the ranches around you would think there would be more demand.This entire store is stocked very well. Seems to have much more variety than a big box stores, but in smaller quantities. Prices are competitive and service is outstanding.

Only because of the product, we ordered curb pickup, we called someone named Rebecca, answered, gave them the info, told us to wait a minute, we sat in the heat for over 15mins, this person actually left us in hold, so we hung up and had to call back, oh and there was no other people waiting for curbside, the 2nd person answered was kind and was at the truck in 5 mins.

The local place to shop…you pay for convenience and conversation!

This store has pretty good supplies for a small town store. It specializes in camping, RV, and summer needs, too. If you need the odd tool or house hold fitting, chances are that you will have luck. They also have a garden center.

Overpriced and not much of a convenience. Would have given 1 star but the work staff is pretty cool there

Great staff if you ever need help in the store.Pretty well stocked for the do it yourselfers. only 2 hardware stores here at the lake. Carpenters Hardware up the road in startzville and Ace in Statler.Great for picking up small supplies verses driving all the way into New Braunfels Home Depot. Carpenters has been around forever they are older than mud...lol. very personable and is contractors favorite. Also Carpenters carries a lot of Mobil home products and ther prices are a tad above fair.Ace has a larger selection and unfortunately however convienant I feel a tad to pricy.

Normally employees are very helpful, but in the span of 2 minutes I saw 2 employees with no mask and one with his under his face. This is the law in Comal county and were not out of this yet. Please wear your mask, if not for yourself, for others.

They have a few things you cant find at the bigger hardware stores, but mainly the same stuff at slightly higher prices. Their Ace Brand spray paint is a good deal tho, when I went (mid October 2020) they were on special, if you are a member of their free rewards program, priced at $6 for 2 cans (I believe 12 oz cans, might be 16, whatever the normal sized ones are) so about a dollar less per can compared to my go-to spray paint (Rustoleum Painters Choice 2X), which are 3.98 at walmart, slightly higher at hardware stores

They have a good selection for being a smaller hardware store. We love shopping locally whenever we can, so we shop here often. It would get 5 stars from me if it wasnt for the grumpy employees. They need to turn those frowns upside down!

Consistent knowledgeable pleasant service with friendly staff with a wide variety of selections. Not always the best prices; however, sale items are comparable with other vendors regular prices. It pays to compare - sometimes prices are better than other resources. In rural America, convenience, time, and gasoline traveling to other vendors to save a few percent is not effective or efficient. Their rewards program does provide incentive with purchases over time. I highly recommend and shall return.

I absolutely love this hardware store. They are always incredibly friendly and always have everything im looking for (or if they dont they are willing to help with suggestions on what to do or where to find what you need). Good prices as well so I never feel put out by not going to a bigger store, i can feel great about shopping local.

I had my 1st disappointment with Ace they put items on a special ad all going for $4.99 and they had items that were not on sale with no price tags so very easily assumed that everything on the rack was $4.99 very misleading but at the most part Ace has been my hardware store for many years and people are very pleasant and helpful

Normally i would give it a 5 because the people are great. But right now you have the elf on a shelf and my daughter found it and i told her to turn it in to get popcorn for my grandson. Well the cashier with grayish blonde hair looked at me and said if she wanted popcorn just tell her to get it being rude. But other than that Kelly and Keith are amazing
