A Disgrace at Dollar General.I own and operate a retail business in Canyon and we are moving behind Dollar General. As a merchant in Canyon, we love the town and the people and love interacting with you all.We want to bring something nice to Canyon and have worked hard to provide an upscale boutique atmosphere in our business. We are moving to a new retail space behind Dollar General and their trash is strewn all around their building and into our grass and parking lot. It blows all over where we have taken a lot of time and money to make nice for the town. I started taking pictures and videos back in August and its a daily problem.Over the past couple of months, Ive gone into Dollar General four times and asked to speak with the Manager, and left my phone number for a callback. Today is the first time a manager has been at the store. I even stopped and talked to one of their truck drivers who also said this was the worst store he delivers to. He also stated that if they stored their trash in the carts properly it wouldnt escape.I didnt get the Managers name, because her attitude was so bad, un-empathetic, seriously the worst interaction Ive had with a retail store employee much less a store manager. When she shrugged off responsibility and blamed the people of Canyon for throwing their trash on the ground, she then stated it was the District Managers responsibility. I asked for the District Managers contact info, which she refused, I asked to be contacted she said have a nice day, Sir in the rudest manner possible. Today, I contacted corporate and will be going to the city.I just really cant believe this lady blamed her customers and the people of Canyon. This store is in shambles inside and out, its a disgrace.

The manager at this store should be fired she is straight trash refused to sell me cigarettes just because the guy in front of me did not have his I.d. I had mine And she try to say I was gonna purchase them to the guy in front of me I didnt even know the guy in front of me she was just to lazy cause she was busy talking to someone in the back that didnt even work there Im taking it to coporate Im gonna make sure she dont ever work in retail again !!!! Do not shop at this store

I went in to this doller store they were very rude the cashier kept going out side for what reason I dont know I told her I was gonna talk to the manager she said she was the manager dont go in this doller store they are rude and disrespectful

Its Dollar General. You dont go in with huge expectations. Yet this one is neater than many, and prices/availability of merch is always good.

I was going to stop by here on my way home to pick up a few items, but before I even got inside I could see mutiple people standing in line with no masks on, so I turned around and left. Dollar General has lost my business, since they clearly dont care about the health and safety of their customers or employees.

Man dont nobody mess with the DG for a store that truly is convenient they dont hike their prices up like other places tootn totum pack a sack

The employee was the SWEETEST! He was helpful and so friendly. I didnt get his name.. Best experience in a DG EVER!

Some things are gone, while other items are overflowing. But the employees are always nice and place is kept clean.

It’s what has become a typical Dollar General; dirty, unorganized, and always looks like a tornado just came through, but it works in a pinch when I don’t want to make the trek to Wal-Mart.They never seem to have enough staff because they have everyone stocking and you have to hunt them down when you’re ready to check out. They do have some very helpful college guys that work the register.Good place to stop when you just need a few necessities.

Its a dollar General. It has lots of stuff. It has lots of cheap stuff. They are all over the place like little convenient walmarts. You need junk food, soda, soap, and laundry detergent? DG has you covered.

Enjoy going there to shop. Need more coloring products like gel pens. Rainbow pencils colored pencils glitter pens & pencils metallic pens & pencils.

Cluttered and very busy. Employee was very helpful and friendly. One employee on duty at a time is ridiculous!!

Sometimes its hard to locate an employee but they are a convenient store and do have lots of great deals. One of the girls always gives my daughter stickers.

Had what I wanted

There were certain items that I was looking for and I couldnt find.. the employee offered to help in assisting me to find items which was very difficultyo find but all items were found. Thank You..Kudos

It was nicely arranged and relatively clean for a Dollar General. Much better than the town I came from!

Good for last minute items at a reasonable price

Waited at the counter to pay for atleast 5 minutes before someone realized I was ready. The worker apologized. The large table of clearance items by the register is nice to look through while your waiting.

The place was a mess merchandise laying everywhere shelves bare it was terrible!!

Very poor excuse for a dollar generalI took Chistmas blankets to check out marked 50% off and the employee would not honor the sale. It was very clearly marked yet they refused to give the sale price. You employees at this location are a joke.

This small town store is really going down hill.

Easy pit stop when I just want to get in and out without all the hassle of walking or bumping into folks. Although, I have to get familiar again with what is where since they have rearranged. Great customer service no small talk just a simple Did you find all you need? I respond with one Yes they cash me out so I can be on my way. Badda bing. Badda boom.

Its a dollar general. Its a little cramped compared to others Ive been to but it gets the job done. My main complaint is staff. I feel like every other time I come in here theres someone new at the register. If they werent behind the register youd never be able to tell they work there as apparently uniforms are optional here. Staff wears whatever jeans, t-shirts and even hats that they want. If the staff had proper uniforms and they were at least mildly competent in their store this would be a fine dollar general.

We found everything we needed but when there was a price that was wrong at the register the cashier was very rude about it. She gave it to us for the price posted after all. Sorry their registers scan wrong or someone can not stock correctly.
