This place was recommended by a friend of mine. He suggested the crunchy maple and the cherry donuts. They did not disappoint. Although, I preferred the crunchy maple more as it wasnt too sweet for me. Lovely service and they have a drive thru. Simply awesome and you should go check it out!

Every time Ive stopped by here Ive been impressed. Donuts are fresh, employees are friendly, and prices are good. They always have what I want and get me back out the door quickly. Will definitely continue to stop by for my morning donut fix.

You never know if they are gonna be open from one day to the next. The hours posted on the door should say, Maybe, Maybe not.

Takes forever to make a hot chocolate and the servers always look angry at you, not the cleanest place either.

Classic Donut Stop in the Texas Panhandle. Steeped in tradition and bright red cherry glaze, these donuts are popular, not because theyre outstanding, but because they were here before the big chains showed up and we like it this way.Gotta try a cherry glazed donut if you havent already. Donut holes arent bad either, but I doubt theyre made from the actual center of a donut - theyre too poofy. People that have lived here for a stretch and then moved off still buy the Cherry Glazed donuts by the dozen to take back home when the visit, cause this aint Krispy Dunkins.

This place is a must stop for many people around the city of Canyon. Come in and enjoy fresh coffee and a donut or cinnamon roll. The lady that runs the place is very nice as are the rest of the staff. This is a great location for a quick stop or a drive through. You will be on your way with a fresh aromatic cinnamon roll and hot coffee with the quick service.

Pretty good donuts. I had been on the road since 4am and arrived in Canyon around 9. Decided to pop on figured itd just be some old stuff but was happily surprised with fresh coffee and a handmade donut. Literally handmade. I could see them making the donuts from my table. I definitely recommend, especially if youve been on a long trip.

I went to the donut stop for the first and last time this morning. Everything was disgusting and the place was very disorganized. One of the things I ordered (that they actually had) was a cinnamon roll. I got a roll, but the cinnamon was nowhere to be found. I also tried the blueberry donut wholes. I didn’t taste any blueberry. They were hard and tasted like burned dough to me. Lastly, I ordered a blended drink and the staff couldn’t decide on who was going to make it. So I waited a long time before that was done. Then a girl came out with two and said “I made extra.” She plopped them down on the flimsy donut box I got and I almost dropped everything. She walked away before I could tell her I didn’t want both drinks. Why would you tell someone you made extra and then just assume they want it? She didn’t ask, just plopped them down on my box. It was really hard to get back to my car without dropping everything. Luckily the only thing I dropped were the straws. A serious waste of time and money. I’m extremely disappointed with the “service” I received this morning.

Left a weird taste in my mouth and my 5 year old mentioned it. In fact when we went to the doughnut place down the street 3 months later she insisted she didnt want a doughnut until I assured her it was a different place. It was large, clean, and inviting. Staff was very nice.

Marvelous donuts. Very large for the price with serious heft to the donuts without tasting heavy. If I had to choose a donut to be the real mans donut things would be it.

The quality of donuts aren’t as good and when I ordered a dozen donuts and two long johns I got charged for them but was given chocolate donuts instead, and they weren’t busy.

Very disorganized and the donuts just arent good. If you were born in the panhandle they love them. But if you are not from the area you will not like them. They are more like biscuits with icing.

The store is clean, and the people are friendly enough, but the only problem is the doughnuts. The only flavor my wife and I tasted was the grease that the doughnuts were fried in.

For the first time since being raised in Canyon, I was disappointed in the Donut Stop. The donut holes were hard, and the cinnamon roll did not have any cinnamon in it. The bear claw was NOT what I expected, as typical bear claws have some sort of almond paste or filling with almonds and what I received was not that. Disappointed!
