We are looking for a place to dry dock our boat. Everest Marina is tucked into the canal system in Cape Coral. To get to the caloosahatchee & Beyond takes at least 10 to 15 minutes. There is no indoor storage. There is no gas. There is no attendant on the weekends. They do have repair service. The staff was super friendly. It just wasnt a good fit for me.

I saw these guys on The Peoples Court and it seems they dont have the skills or equipment to properly diagnose performance problems. They will replace parts over and over again and again and charge and charge the boat owner more money. They talk about there being layers and layers of possible problems and that seems to be their primary excuse, but in actuality they are incompetent and come across as backyard mechanics. After spending thousands of dollars and countless hours it ended up being a $32.00 bad check valve that the boat owner discovered.I lived in Cape Coral, too, but always took my boat (a 26 Chaparral) to Fish Tail Marina at Ft. Myers Beach.

Well, I wish I could give less then 1 star. I didnt have a good experience at all. I was hoping for good service, smaller marina, some reasonable pricing and good quality work. I got none of that. To diagnose a simple issue took initially 3 days, after a repair I took the boat out. I had to tow it back after 30 minutes. The excuse was: you didnt tell us to fix other things. Again, even though we knew what was wrong, it was 4 days again to do a 2 hour job. I picked it up again. The engine overheated again. 2 tows back and it still wasnt running - and I paid $3500 so far. They advertise some hourly rate - they also charge about $30/hour more for some shop supplies, so that rate is deceiving. On top of that I found that their hours spend on repair were twice of what is common. There is more to this yet - they say they inspect the boat and advise if there is anything else that needs attention. Well, they dont. I knew of things that needed attention, but they never even mentioned them. After these tows back and attempted repairs, they had other ideas of what could be wrong.Interesting enough, they told me after the second time that they ran it for an hour to make sure it all works. It overheated after 30 minutes. I challenged them on that, and the tune changed that they started it up only.I wont ever be back, you go ahead and try your luck.

We are a boat rental company that keep our boats at Everest Marina so we deal with them on a regular basis. All our boats are serviced and repaired here. They are efficient and professional with certified technicians. These folks are legit and seem to take pride in doing things right.

Is it possible to give a 0? They do not even deserve one star. Very unprofessional. They do not rinse the boat and flush the motor as they state they do. They also had the lift break down and could not use my boat for a week. They also claimed to have fixed it and did not. Said it worked fine and then I got stuck about 100 yards from the marina on the canal. They gave me a paddle to use which I had to ask for after jumping from my boat onto the seawall. Thanks for the help! Would not recommend this so called marina to an enemy.

Yesterday I tool my 270 SeaRay Sundeck over to Everest Marine for a scheduled service appointment for a leaky outdrive. Today I received a call saying the boat was all set and come get it. I thought, wow that was fast. What great service. To start they had to take the boat out of the water. I was told they pressure tested the drive to look for the leak, remove both props to see if anything was leaking, and was told there were no leaks. The best part of this story is they also told me there was NO charge!!!! Since they didnt have to pull the drive apart, they were more than generous in what they did for me. Pete, the owner, is a great guy, and my past experiences there have been fine. Being new to the Cape area, they clearly have shown me they are a good company to deal with. Christie the gal at the front desk, is also very pleasant. I will always have them service my boats. You can feel good going here.Bill M. Cape Coral, Fl.

I live in the area of Everest Marine and so I have found myself going there on several occasions. Even when I go in to buy small parts that they might make a dime off of they will take the time to explain how to fix something I am fixing myself at my house. They all really know what they are talking about and when I need something fixed I go right to them.

These clowns called me about my tune up and said the motor needed replaced. 15k. The boat is worth about 10k. Really...it ran fine when I took it in. They put it back together and when i picked it up The battery was dead. So, I go back an hour later and It started but the trim would not go down. I look at theguy and he said well your going to sell it anyway, right? I just drove it home. Then I notice the engine cover wasnt even screwed back on. Complete idiots. Oh and I paid $2000.00 for this (tune up)

WATCH YOUR WALLET! Was told my job would be 1 hour at $105/hr. Was not told there would be a haul charge of $2/ft. Their 1 hour, magically turned into 2 hours. My $105 job turned into $331+ when I came to pick up my boat. When I complained, Ken the manager just blew me off. Doesnt value his customers. I told him, hell never see me again...Went home and filed a complaint with the BBB. If i cant get resolution from them, Ill contact Florida Dept. of Consumer Affairs. Make sure you get a QUOTE IN WRITING B4 doing business at this place!

If my outboard broke down. I would drop in the river and buy a new motor before I would ever bring service to these butchers.I brought my outboard to them to adjust the carborator, while they had it I them to change the thermostat because it had not been changed in a long time. After being called 3 times to pick it up, each time it was not fixed and was leaking water from the thermostat housing. They said they couldnt fix it any better and I should buy a new motor ( from them) .I had a 20 min ride home and the motor stopped running, luckily 3 houses away from mine. I called the and them and they said they wouldnt come get it or fix it.I spent 3 hours on it and fixed it my self.
