Don’t know why I haven’t heard of this place before - but glad I found it yesterday searching “breakfast”. Really good customer service and the food was yummy! It’s always so hard for me to find the perfect biscuits and sausage gravy - this place nailed it. The bacon was alright and the apple juice was good too. My dad got the country fried steak and he enjoyed it too with his cheesy grits. Thanks for the great service and food! Would definitely come back!
Good was bland, the apples in the Apple Crepes are out of a can and taste like nail polish remover. The kick is that the food was super expensive for blah food. Oh! The service was no impressive.
I have been going to the Cafe for many years and all of the staff are the nicest people in this world. The service is always excellent, the food is outstanding and the staff treats us like family. I wish more establishments were as caring and sincere. Cassy, Christine and Wendy are the best, actually everyone deserves a shout out. You have a customer for life. Thinking about the Cafe just made me hungry, try it for yourself I know you will be pleased.
The restaurant was clean however the decor tends to make it feel almost a little too sterile. The service was sufficient although the food was like the environment and lacked taste. Honestly, I cant ever remember a time Ive ordered a cheeseburger that lacked taste but somehow theyve managed to pull it off. Lol Although, because of the fact that Im a huge fan of cleanliness, Ill give them another shot to maintain my business and Ill order a different menu item.
I could not say how the food is they would not serve us outside at outside tables because we had a dog with us. A 10 pound well behaved dog. They said Cape Coral fines them which is not true. Many restaurants serve outside dining with dogs, they obviously just don’t like dogs

Service was poor and food was good bit pricey compared to comp restaurants. 2.75 for coffee but good luck getting a second cup.

One of only two places to ever get breakfast in the Cape or Fort Myers. Been eating breakfast in the area since 1985 and will only go here and one other place, out on Pine Island. Every other restaurant is unreliable and at best, ok. I drive from St. Petersburg to eat here and meet with family, cant imagine a better spot.
Its always good food and service and its not pricey. Great spot for breakfast or a lunch.

January 2017The Cafe, Coralwood Shopping Mall, Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chatter. This has become one of my to go to eateries in the Cape. If you have a need for a good breakfast, a lunch, or Greek fare you go here.This time a got a Greek style lasagna, about 9 bucks. House made from scratch. Delish and just made for all the wimpy taste buds of Floridians. So good. Plus the house made soup of clam chowder.Most places of the mom & pop eaterys make their own soups & sweet tea. You may count on them being good.Service is professional and courteous.The Cafe Restaurant, Coralwood Mall, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat.This has to be one of the best cafe for breakfast/lunch in the The Cape.The food. A reuben sandwich and the Greek spinach pie. I love the reuben sandwich, a bit of fat, flavor and real seeded rye bread. Flaky phyllo crust with spinach and full of flavor.Service is always up to par. Prices are reasonableOh yes lets not forget the mushroom soup. Chunks of real mushrooms.

Very nice place. Very clean inside. Wait staff very pleasant and friendly. Eggs and hash browns cooked to my liking. Thinest bacon I have ever had in a restaurant. Very tough as well. Thinly sliced bread. Wait staff wore masks but the seating was too close. Not following CDC guidelines. Probably wont come back.

We go to The Cafe a couple times a month for breakfast. They serve very generous portions at affordable prices. The service is excellent and your order is cooked fresh and hot. My wife loves their French toast,I think they make the best omelets in the Cape.

Although we absolutely love The Cafe and have made it our go to for the last 15 years. I have never experienced such terrible service as I did today. I know it is minimal but...I have been in the food industry since I was 17 (20 yrs) and never have I ever charged some one for carbonated water nor have I been charged for it. Shame on our server for trying to increase her ticket average in hopes of a larger tip. She got defensive when I questioned the charge and not just for carbonated water but for a kid’s carbonated water. Seriously? She didn’t deserve the more than 20% I tipped her. I wish our old school servers were back. Still love The Cafe and will continue to go there.
Fast service good food!
Homey, delicious food, great customer service, wonderful prices. This is such a landmark in Cape Coral. We locals LOVE eating here. Youll never find more yummy food, better service or a more inexpensive $$ check . It is so friendly and good, I wish they were open longer hours to accommodate my appetite for their wonderful food.

Weve been going to The Cafe for breakfast every Sunday since we moved to Cape Coral 3 years ago. Its kind of like Cheers for us in that we know and like all the waitresses, the service is super-fast, food is good (and hot), coffee is constantly replenished, prices are good and Kristy, the hostess, always welcomes us with a smile. Highly recommended!! C U soon!!

The food was great. The service was very good. Food arrives quick. I quit going to your restaurant a couple years ago because the portions for small. Maybe you were trying to keep the price down. And the menu was small. Now it cost more but the quantities are larger

I have dined here several times and will not be back. Food is ok nothing special or to write about. The staff is very unfriendly especially the lady that always seats you, I am assuming she is the owner or manager. The food has been cold, nothing you would crave or rave about. The portions are average. To add a slice of cheese is 1.50 to an already over priced menu for a diner. Sodas taste like syrup. The bathroom are absolutely filthy. Not sure men’s room has been cleaned in A very long time. Atmosphere and food is just basic.

Breakfast:Typically I do not write reviews, however, the reason I found this place and decided to try was due to.... well reviews. The atmosphere is definitely nice in terms of a family diner feel, service was efficient, however my experience with the food was very disappointing. I ordered the “Del Prado” meal which consisted of eggs, choice of meat, and French toast (which i substituted for pancakes). The eggs had a slice of cheese carelessly laid on top, and it was pretty “gummy” by the time I received it. French toast was thick and chewy, and was cold. Everything was pretty flavorless.. I paid $13 after tip for what I felt was a $7 breakfast. was I’m not sure if other reviewers on this site are somewhat delusional or if the food was just not up to its usual standard, but I do not care to return. Again, THE ONLY REASON I AM SHARING IS BECAUSE THE REVIEWS I READ THAT PERSUADED MY CHOICE IN RESTAURANTS DID NOT ENCOMPASS THE QUALITY OF FOOD THAT I EXPERIENCED.
Geat place to get a sandwich of your choice or any comfort food youve been missing since your mama quit cooking for you. Great and attentive service. Pepsi products instead of Coke. Daily specials listed on the white board on the back wall. The restaurant seems to attract older clientele. Prices are reasonable.

A classic diner... Great daily specials, with a Greek flair. Today I had a stuffed pepper as the special with mashed potatoes and tomato gravy . It came with a bowl of hamburger pasta soup, all for a very reasonable price. It was very good, and much more than I could ever eat. Our waitress, Alexa, was friendly and very competent
We love The Cafe and try to get there as often as possible as we live rather far away. Every winter season when my sister is down for the weather, we make sure to stop in for the deep fried zucchini and garlic sauce thats so delicious you can lick it off the floor. Yummy!!!

One of the last family restaurants. Very friendly servers, exceptionally clean, good wholesome food at great prices. Breakfast and lunch served only. Please give them a try. You wont be disappointed.
This was my 1st time here and it was delicious. Ive been looking for a small neighborhood Cafe since I moved here 8 months ago and I finally found it. The staff was friendly and the food was great. I love that they serve breakfast all day. I will definitely be back!
Staff seemed friendly enough. Atmosphere was nice. Same can’t be said for the food. The food left little to be desired. The Gyro omelette was cold, my feta was thrown in the middle and cold as if they ‘forgot’ to add the cheese. Hardly worth the $11.00 price tag. The few redeeming qualities were the coffee, my wife’s Pepsi, (which honestly, how do you mess up Pepsi?) The steak wasn’t awful, her eggs were over cooked and the hash browns weren’t bad. Thus, the two stars. Will we be coming back? No.

I’m from Iowa. This reminded me of a small rural town mom and pop cafe. Excellent food and very reasonable prices!
The only negative thing about our visit was my girlfriend thought that the prices were a bit high. The food was great! I had a spinach cheese and ham omelette (with hash browns and toast) and she had the biscuits and gravy. The flavors were on point and the portions were filling. Add that to tee fact that we just experienced a hurricane 4 days ago, and they exceeded my expectations.

Such a great breakfast and lunch restaurant to go to with the family. This restaurant is comfortable, clean, friendly, and fast. We have our usual waitress, Mo, who is awesome!! We stop in at least once a week and will continue to do so.

They had do iced tea to offer also they had the script which were hard all I had was eggs grits and biscuits wasnt impressed at all

I loved the paintings on the walls here. Unfortunately I cant say the same for the food. Although, it was better than some places Ive been 😊

Went there last Sunday around 1. Met 3 people who recommended the place. Everyone ordered breakfast but since it has a Greek owner, I ordered Gyro sandwich. First, it wasn’t busy,perhaps 2 other tables, the waitress forgot to bring my beverage. Ok, so the Gyro arrives, it’s the sorriest thing you’ve ever seen. 3 very thin slices of gyro meat, chopped lettuce, chopped tomato, chopped onions. No no no. I’m not going back.

They do have good food. What upset me was that when I asked for steamed broccoli instead of potatoes or fruit they told me sure we can do that. I then see the manager speak to our waiter, she comes back to our table to tell me that it would be a 4.95 upcharge for the veggie.5 stars for our server. 1 star for a ridiculous upcharge on a regular side.
