Berry cookie was Great.Bhani mi sandwich was a delicious take on our favorite Vietnamese sandwich. No enough meat on Roast Beef classic, but still okay.

We thought the food and atmosphere of C Salt Gourmet Market was very good. They have gluten-free options to include bread, tortillas, and bagels. They were able to also look into the ingredients of those items to check for other allergens present in our group.Other than making a mistake on our order (which wasn’t a big deal, but still happened) we were only disappointed by how many things they were out of. They were out of GF bread, a smoothie flavor, and a type of sandwich.Lastly, the lobster rolls seemed exorbitantly expensive. Would have loved to have been able to have one.

Coworkers and I used to come here all the time but can no longer justify returning because of the repeated slow and mediocre service and lunch sandwiches/wraps that keep getting smaller. Bummer because we work nearby and love to grab lunch but no one likes feeling gypped on an 11 dollar wrap. Pic of a buffalo chicken wrap with tons of lettuce but just one over cooked tender that was only on one side of the wrap. Too bad.

We used to love this place, but something changed in the last few months. It went from being an A level experience to a D level overnight. We gave it another chance after the 1st bad meal we had (bagel sandwich) and ordered the burrito instead (who messes up a breakfast burrito??). We should have hit McDonalds instead. The staff is nice, but their hearts clearly arent into making good food.

This place is exceptional! Found it 2 years ago on our annual trip to Maine. Food terrific - order in our out and sit outside and enjoy a breakfast muffin! We come back yearly to have their home made English muffins. Unfortunately, with staff shortages they were unable to sell extras from their bakery rack ( usually bring home 4 packages for the freezer) But try the breads and blueberry muffins - yummy! They have a nice wine selection and full salad selection to take out also. Coffee is wonderful. Hopefully after this horrible pandemic, the baking staff can more help and I can stock my freezer again! Thank you staff - the young people were lovely.

Cute place, nice service. The Surfside smoothie is good. They barely have any vegan options on the menu which is really disappointing especially since they have a lot of ingredients that could make legit vegan sandwiches etc. I ordered the avocado toast and added tomato and it was pretty pathetic. Dinky toast with a few slices of avocado and very not ripe tomatoes. Extremely disappointing in general (my sister and I didn’t even want to eat it) but especially since this is one of the only vegan options on the menu. The wait was long as well especially considering the quality of food we got. Would really like to see more (and better) vegan options (ex: plant based cream cheese for the bagels to name one).

Service: 5 StarsFood Quality: 5 StarsAmbience: 5 StarsSo, it doesnt matter if you live in Cape Elizabeth (if you live in town and havent been in the place, youre really out of touch) or traveling on Rt. 77S: Drop by.The outside tables/chairs are amenable to a larger group and the inside continues with social distancing and masks. The place is a combination between Cheers and Dean and DeLuca---down to earth, but cosmopolitan as well (try the extensive wine selection while youre visiting, too).Personally, the chili, avocado toast, and breakfast burrito motivate my return for various meals, but the freshly-made (never frozen) food will satisfy even the most discerning palate (and contrary to other views, the deli case has many vegan options)....and frankly, whether the staff member is a teenager or seasoned vet: they are attentive and kind.

My husband and I are in the process of moving to the area and stopped by after a long day to grab some dinner at the suggestion of a new acquaintance. We ordered a chicken salad wrap, a roast beef sandwich, and a bar of blueberry swirl cheesecake. The car was absolutely silent as we ate. They did not skimp on the meat, and the cheese and chipotle mayo were perfectly proportioned, I could taste it in every bite. The cheesecake was somehow light and rich. Service was wonderful, timely and friendly. We will definitely be frequenting this little spot often!

Quality ingredients, poor preparation. We waited about 25 minutes for two sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin breakfast sandwiches and a smoothly.... 25 minutes. When we got the breakfast sandwiches, the eggs were over cooked (crispy) and there wasn’t much cheese so an overall really dry breakfast sandwich. As my partner stated- if they spent less time cooking the eggs it wouldn’t take so long to make the sandwhiches. However, the English muffin and sausage alone were quality ingredients. The potential is here- just needs some tweaking. Smoothie was good

A simple sandwich can take anywhere from 20 to 30 plus minutes for them to make! Inconsistency is a major problem I have been there several times had a fantastic sandwich then three days later its horrible and takes 25 minutes to make. This place could be great, instead its mediocre.Their curry chicken wrap has miniscule amount chicken, its mostly lettuce, for the price theyre charging there should be a large amount of chicken.Extremely slow service, it takes 15 minutes to make a simple sandwich.Update: phoned in a sandwich order, they told me it would be 10 minutes, when I arrived it was 20 minutes, sandwich was still not done, it took them over 30 minutes to make a buffalo chicken wrap and they didnt even make it the way I asked them to.Thats it my last time going there.

I walked in for the first time thinking “wow this place looks awesome, everything looks super fresh, I can’t wait to come back even though I’m 30 minutes away I will travel just for this cute little cafe and I can’t WAIT to taste their food.” My experience left me never wanting to come back. Ordered two sandwiches, a smoothie, a lemonade, and some chips for 40 something dollars and left a 20 percent tip before getting our food at the register (something I wouldn’t have done ahead of time had I known) for a total of 50 bucks for a walk in cafe sandwich type place. Now we don’t mind spending 50 bucks on a seat yourself tip ahead of time place (that’s why we researched this place while in the area and decided upon it) but for those prices I’m expecting decent service and great food. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait, okay that’s fine. 30 minutes go by and “I think” I see what could be our sandwiches behind the counter and not getting wrapped into bags or what not but I’m not sure. I was going to give it a few minutes before asking because they seemed pretty busy at the time and I wasn’t even sure if they were ours, I saw what looked to be my sandwich but I didn’t know what my boyfriends looked like so I couldn’t say for sure or not if that was his and mine. After about 40 minute I notice the sandwiches are gone so I assume they were another customers and I sit and wait again because they are super busy. Close to an hour later I notice 3-4 groups of customers who came in after me (some even 20 minutes after) getting their food and leaving! At this point I asked about our food and they apologized (she was very nice about it and nothing wrong with that service at all) and said it will be rcoming right out. Came out shortly and my boyfriends breakfast burrito had burnt eggs and tasted reheated and my caprese had that gross sitting there for a while taste as well so we assume maybe it was our food that was ready 45 minutes ago but never called? (I sat in front of the counter the whole time waiting) I took a bite and threw mine out and he ate half before throwing it out of the window of the car. If that was the case for that price I would have rather either waited even longer than the hour and 15 minutes I was already there for new and fresh food or been offered a refund. Pretty upset because the restaurant really really looks like a place that has a+ food.

Prices were way out of line, it would have been less expensive to get a similar breakfast at a full service restaurant near by. The food took a very long time but the atmosphere and food quality made up for it. No real system for order pick up, food is called off auction style after it is ready. Home made English muffin breakfast sandwich was filling and delicious. I would recommend it, despite the prices and slow pace it was very good.

My wife and I shared a sandwich and one salted chocolate chip cookie the other day, and both were exceptional. The manager at the counter, Victoria, was exceptionally sweet and fun to talk with. As well as being the wizard behind the sorcery of the recipe for that sea salt chocolate chip cookie. Today we stopped in for what both my wife and I agree is the best breakfast sandwich we have ever had. Made on there homemade English muffin, fresh cracked eggs and good quality cheese.
