They were friendly and quick to get my vehicle in but the work was poor and, the inspection report was completely inaccurate, and there were charges add to the bill that were never discussed.Tires were rotated but the 80 psi tires on the back and the 65 psi tires on the front were never reset to the correct pressure so, this morning my TPMS light is on. The courtesy inspection says the were all at 30 psi in and out! It also says my battery is at 70v! ...and tread depth is at 9/32on all tires ( actually varies between 11 and 14)They said they were going to check the alignment but hey charged me for the alignment. I dont think they did anything. No change in the handling and a quick look at the adjustment points shows that a tool never touched them. (No tool marks and the dust wasnt even disturbed)They gave me a 10% discount for being military which was appreciated. Then added an $18 fee for shop supplies on top of $6 for wheel weights!I checked the wheel weights and only 2 of the tires have new wheel weights. What supplies? certainly wasnt the air the didnt use to refill the tires. So rotation: Yes, Balance: 2/4, alignment: NO Inspection: Heck no!

Fast, friendly and had a coupon I got in the mail. They said about 1 hour for oil change & tire rotation. They were done in about 20 minutes (I scheduled an appt for 11am) and besides the oil & tires rotation, they had a long list of items they checked and topped off fluids at no additional charge.Waiting room was pleasant. Also, this location is right by a grocery, liquor & UPS store as well as a pizza place & DVM, so you can get other things done while you wait & they will text/call when youre car is ready.

I made an appointment for 8am on Saturday the 19th. Their scheduled hours are 7:30am until 6pm. They were not open when I got there at 8am and still not open at 9:30. I left and wont be back. Very disappointing. I needed to get my daughters car inspected and now have to make other arrangements. Zero stars.

I don’t usually write reviews often; I only do so if I receive exceptional service or really bad service. In this case it was the former.I thought that I had a nail in my tire, and it was fairly late in the afternoon. Most shops near me were closed at the time but this one happened to be open. I called and the gentleman I spoke to was very helpful and told me to come in and they’ll take a look.The guys took care of my car very quickly. They seem like nice people who care about their customers. I was very happy with the service I received and I will definitely come back to this shop. Also, I’ll recommend them to my friends and family members.

After all the work was done and I picked up the vehicle, I decided to get one more thing done, which they did in just a couple hours, they even had to run out to Mechanicsburg to get the parts I needed. Called and made an appointment with them to have my state inspection done. I showed up at 1100 on 3/31/21 for my appointment just to be told sorry we cant do it. We dont have a qualified mechanic. Why couldnt they have called me to tell me that? Now this has just wasted my time. I went down the street to More Then Tires and they fitted me in right away. Good on them. Wont be back to Monro for sure.

POOR MANAGEMENT, STRANDED W/ NO VEHICLE OVERNIGHTLast week I dropped my truck off 2 hours early for a prescheduled oil change and alignment. I was told I would receive a call when my vehicle was done. At 5:45, I still had not received a call. I reached out to them, and they responded that my truck was next. I arrived back to the shop by closing time, And the lights were out, no one was there. Everything was locked up, including the keys to my truck. I called the customer service number and got the voice message that I was calling after hours and to call again in the morning. I had to arrange for a ride home. I am a District Manager and I had a meeting in Virginia the next morning. I was unable to make my meeting, And I had to source another ride to Monro in the morning. When I mentioned it to the manager, he gave me a $20 discount, which would have been the same auto-generated online coupon that was sent to me after my visit. This doesnt even cover an hour of my time. In speaking with District Manager Jeremy Ruff for this site, he stated that there was nothing they could do, other than offer me a discount on my next oil change. Not to mention, I was billed $300 and the extra charges do not add up. I called and spoke with someone in customer service, They went over the bill with me and realized I was overcharged by $20 so they refunded the $20. Horrible customer service, They have lost my business. I do not recommend this company.

I had done an oil change with them and they seemed like they knew what they were doing since they also identified some other issues I had with my vehicle. The oil change was a bit pricey but I was really impressed with the service they did. I was told they would do a full diagnostic check up for $180 and that it would be a thorough process and not a simple OBD2 scan. Since they uncovered some issues before, I really thought that they would be honest and be able to find what’s wrong, so I agreed.After doing the “Full Diagnostic” they told me that I had a code for catalytic converter and a evap leak. However, to find out where the evap leak is they would need to do another diagnostic, a smoke test. I didn’t understand why I need another diagnostic when they made it seem like they were doing a complete check up. So basically they just hooked up the car to an OBD2 reader and charged me $180 while claiming that they don’t do just that.On top of all that, there is nothing even wrong with my catalytic converter. I took the dang thing off myself and it looks brand new. It is probably the O2 sensor, and they just told me the most expensive fix they could find by reading a simple code. These guys are just after your money. They are only good at overpriced oil changes and maybe wiper blades, that’s it.

Terrible customer service the day I visited. I walked in and was stared at, not greeted. I was confused as to what was wrong with my car because the desk guy who was getting the information from the mechanic wasnt informative and didnt seem to know how to relay the information. I asked how much the parts would be for my car and he couldnt give me one because he didnt know. I had a feeling the issues with my car was due to a mistake they made when they replaced the brakes months prior. I was right. To sum it up, it was a terrible and unprofessional experience. I went to another shop for a second opinion and received the information and repair my car needed, and I wasnt lied too.

Went in for an oil change and was told my car horn didnt work. Patrick went above and beyond to get my horn fixed and find the cheapest possible solution. This experience was by far better then my previous one where Jeremy made me stand outside in the wind with my 1.5 yr old son while my car was inspected.

Patrick was very helpful with the problem today. Even though it couldn’t be resolved I will definitely be back with this vehicle and another. In these trying times it’s nice to meet a kind person and his staff who really care about their customers. Thanks again Patrick. See you soon!

I was running errands and my stone guard came off and was scrapping across the road. I called Monro and they got me in immediately and replaced the pins. They were very accommodating and friendly!

Went in to get brakes done ended up needing rotors as well. Patrick went above and beyond to get us the best rate and find a receipt from 2016 to help save money. He also made the stay comfortable for my 2 year old and put a movie on the TV for him. A+++ service.

I didnt like my previous garage overcharging me for just an oil change but I brought it here to this garage for the 1st time and they do MORE for my car during an oil change than my last place AND its less money. I scheduled my Tesla model 3 for a simple tire swap. I purchased the tires ahead of time and just needed them to mount and balance. All this was explained to them via phone when I made my appointment but once I arrived to my appointment, they told me they can’t work on “customers equipment “ meaning I HAVE to buy the tires from them in order for them. They also then told me they can’t even work on Tesla’s for whatever reason (never heard of this one before). Also to just make things even worse, I wasn’t even in their schedule. What?! It was a waste of time and energy. Not what I would call 5-star service

Predatory up-selling of unnecessary, overpriced work. We took our car in for tires, and they used scare tactics to trick my wife into agreeing to a $1900 bill packed with work that did not need to be done, with padded fees for each item. When I called to put a stop to it they told me they did not care because we already have approval, and resisted even giving detail on what they included to pump up the bill, justifying it with everyone does this.Protect your wallet and find someone trustworthy. You will not find that here.

The team here at Monro does a solid job and even though a mistake was made, it was corrected the next day (even though my lug nut was stripped, we got lucky with a spare). Came in for some shakes. The manager told us this is the most expensive fix hes ever seen, said we needed new water pump, radiator, ect. And then said we may need a whole new motor and that they wouldnt touch it. We got it towed from there to the mechanic shop on carlisle barracks and they said only a few things are messed up and its a cheap fix. Thankfully we took it for that second opinion. Dont let them fool you!

They did a great job and helped me out in short order when I needed it. I was having engine troubles while travel 5 hrs from home and they were able to get my truck in and serviced in short order to get me back on my way. Great service and friendly staff.

Called in for an oil change they told me to bring it right down they would squeeze me in. They had a few things going on from what I could see and the manager had a phone on each ear. At this point I thought ok how long is this going to take. Within 10 min they had my car in the garage. Over hearing conversations I noticed they were extremely professional and he was knowledgeable. For a garage it was very clean in the waiting room bathroom and surprisingly the garage itself very impressed for a woman’s stand point. 15 min in I was presented with a few things that needed attention and also took me to my car (which I’ve never seen under it before really cool). Not knowing a lot about these things it was obvious what was needed. Advised of a few things that should be fixed now and a couple in the future. Not once was I pressured which is very nice. Unfortunately I couldn’t get it all done due to the holiday but no question I’ll be back to get the work done at this shop. I will definitely will be sending everyone to that garage. Very impressed from start to finish. I only called in because It was recommend to me from a coworker. Outstanding. Thank you so much for everything.

Went in for a simple oil change and new battery but told me there was other things that needed to be done with the car that was unnecessary. It seemed as if they were just Finding things to make money off. Total rip off and won’t be coming there again.

Definitely way over priced for tires, the labor costs was as expensive as the tires were them selves, for an hour worth of work definitely going to go some where else in the future. Not to mention the fact that they dont ask if I wanted the hazard warranty they just put it on without asking.

I went in for the first time last week for an oil change. Friday at 5:30pm... I was taken care of right away. Glenn took the time to look at my tires as well (they were in awful shape and I was in the market for new ones- just waiting to take the plunge). Considering how helpful he was, I got quoted on a new set of tires. He explained everything. Jeremy ordered my tires and set me up to come back. My car is currently there and I know it’s being taken care of. Friendly, amazing/fast service, and no BS. Highly recommend and will be going back.

Recently moved to PA pretty cold out decided to bring my truck in for a oil change instead of doing it myselfEven with a 10$ discount came out to 87$ for a synthetic oil change pretty pricey for only 5 quarts in a v6. Will definitely go back to doing it myself and save a easy 50$. Decided to pass on the transmission fluid change and brakes can’t imagine the price If oil costs me 90$. Glenn was working hard though pretty busy day when I was there.

Considering the PA inspection process is a total scam, Monro made it as painless as possible. Set up an appointment with Jeremy for the following morning and Glen brought my car in at 10AM on the dot.I had taken my car to a family friends shop a couple weeks prior and got a full itemized printout of everything Id be needing done down the road. Monro didnt scam me into telling me I needed things that I didnt actually need. They pointed out exactly what I expected (rear brakes/rotors) AND their prices wound up being cheaper than the family friends estimate.Also, by the time everything was said and done, Jeremy had included enough discounts to negate the ridiculous State Inspection prices that you shouldnt have to pay anyway. Inspection took an hour, auto work took about 45 minutes. Cant tell you if thats good or not because Im used to 10 minute, free NJ inspections so take that information and do as you please with it.Overall, it was a good experience. Jeremy was incredibly friendly and helpful (not just with me but the other folks waiting while I was there, too). As long as hes there, Id feel comfortable taking my car back in the future.

I had to make a 9 hour round trip as soon as possible, but I needed a couple parts replaced in my car because it wasnt running.I called around and every other shop in the area was booked into the next week. These guys started on my car that same evening and called me first thing in the morning to tell me it was ready to pick up. Honestly, they were a real life saver.Monro definitely exceeded expectations and Ill absolutely go back to them if I need anything.

They just recently reopened and I needed my oil changed and was in the area for a doctor appointment across the road. I stopped and asked when the next available appointment was and took it. They were able to change my oil while i was at my appointment. They were very kind, very accommodating, and were great with my son who was loving jumping in the puddles in their parking lot (safely). They were very personable and were great to deal with. I highly recommend!! If you had a previous bad experience with them, i highly recommend giving them another try. They truly were great. I will be back with my husbands car for his oil change, and I plan to be back for my inspection as well

Service was quick and effective but expensive with lots of hidden fees. I asked ahead of my appointment about cost for a full transmission fluid change and over the phone was told it would cost about $170. When I picked up my car the cost was $269. Some miscellaneous fees were thrown in, but overall led to believe it was cheaper. This price seems very high based on everything I’ve read. And I have a Toyota, nothing fancy.

Monro has been the only service business I have used for all of my vehicles. There is never an issue with how they treat me or how my vehicle is cared for. Staff is beyond knowledgable and over friendly. All in all, an incredible business with amazing people working there.

Before this location burned down last year I took my cars to them for 12 years... If you would have asked me to write a review last year I would have given a 5 star review. BUT... Now that its been rebuilt and reopened its all new management. I took my car in for inspection a few weeks ago and was told I needed over $2000 worth of repairs on my 4 year old car. I found that very hard to believe and didnt authorize any repairs. I came to pick up my car 7 hours later and it was still up on the lift with the tires off! I asked around for a reputable local garage and got a second opinion. As I suspected, I need one repair that I was fully aware of. Needless to say I am done with Monro. A bunch of scam artists. Its also suspicious to me and everyone Ive asked that they dont have their service rate posted...I asked what their rate was and was told oh it varies depending on whats being done...$90-100 an hour. Really? It varies? And almost double the local going rate? Nope.

Very quick service for my oil changed, and Jeremy explained the different oils and why they are each important. I am very thankful for the new knowledge!

The staff and very friendly, professional, and efficient. I came in because my back brakes were grinding and they looked at my vehicle right away. They replaced my back brake pads and rotors in less than 2 hours. They estimate they gave me to replace they back brake pads and rotors was the standard cost you would expect to have them replaced.

Great customer service

By far, the absolute worst auto repair service we have ever received. We brought our vehicle in for an oil change, and were told that the right front wheel bearing needed replaced. We agreed to pay the additional $400+ and picked our car up when it was completed. On the drive home, we started hearing a loud grinding noise. When we returned to Monroe, they proceeded to tell us that the left front brake pad fell off and now the brake and rotor both needed replaced. We had just replaced the brakes & rotors, and the other 3 were just fine, so when we questioned how that was even possible we were told that the man who worked on our car walked out that day, so they couldnt confirm if he had done something to cause the issue with our brake. They refused to repair it unless we paid an additional $200. We took our vehicle to Monroe as we have been happy with our service in the past, but it seems very different now that it has reopened. The service now is not only questionable, but borders on shady, as we truly feel that their negligence caused more damage to our vehicle. We took our vehicle elsewhere to repair the brake and rotor, and will never return to, nor recommend Monroe Muffler again.
