Barrier cones all over the parking lot. Drive thru speaker was on. We said we wanted to come in to see what kind of donuts they had. He said just park and come in. We chose our donuts, he was short one custard so went to the back and made one. We got a Hershey Milk Shake from the cooler. A senior man was the only person running the store. We went to our car and ate our donut. We left, opened the Hershey Milk Shake and too a big swig. YUCK, it was spoiled!!!! I looked at the expiration date, it had been filed off. When I got home I used a magnifying glass to check it, AUG 18, 2021. This is Sat. SEPT 4, 2021!!!
Really good breakfast sandwiches! Served fresh and very cheap. If I lived in the area, I’d go by there all the time.
Great little donut shop. Great coffee, and they made my wife a fresh coconut donut when she ordered it. Will be coming back to this place in the future.
Recently moved to the area and have made this place my regular coffee spot. I am not sure about these rude reviews because out of the past 10 visits, the guy has been nothing but super nice and courteous every time I pull through. Donuts are your standard variety but the coffee hes brewing in this little shop is actually the best in the area.
I find it very interesting that 3 other people have recently left reviews on here and had a similar experience to mine! (Actually, I counted at least 17 other reviews from people who have witnessed the same level of rudeness from the same man I saw.)Just yesterday, I pulled in this place and was trying to help one of my 3 kids in the back seat. We hadnt even had a chance to get out and literally had been there less than 2 minutes, when all of a sudden an old man was standing at my drivers side door demanding that I roll my window down. I rolled it down a little bit and he asked me if I was going to buy something and that this was private property and if I wasnt buying anything, I needed to leave because (he emphasized a 2nd time) this is PRIVATE property!I was completely shocked and absolutely appalled at the level of rudeness he displayed to a possible customer! Needless to say, we left without buying anything. TRUST ME! I will never be back to that place! If this man is the owner, he obliviously is driving away business. Oh and did I mention that there was literally only 1 other car in the parking lot, so my car being there for 2 minutes was certainly not hindering his business. So rude!
Great service, fresh coffee and good donuts. Thank you
Truly a friendly small local business experience. The coffee was great, and the service was even better.
Went here for the first time and this place is amazing! The service was excellent the owner was very warm and welcoming and the coffe and donuts are so good! I will debe coming here again.
The father was a nice guy, the son, not so much. He was very rude to my husband. Went there maybe 4 times, but because of the son, never again. It’s a shame because the coffee is good.
The gentleman there was so nice! We got there around 6:30am to grab coffee and breakfast, and were so happy to get out of the cold. It wasnt expensive at all, and our food was delicious. Thank you!
Great stop for a coffee and donut. Very kind service
Great customer service and dounuts
He yelled at us as we were walking by saying he had just sowed seed twice in his grass and it was private property. I have never had someone act like that before! That is why I looked it up as it was so strange and wanted to alert others. Guess we are not the first people he has acted this way with!
I like the pizza is much better than the truck stops, Im amazed that is one guy running both sides of the restaurant is very polite, I read some reviews half of them are because they park in the property there is a million square feet of parking across the street, I dont blame the guy.I bet any of you will not like me parking in your driveway to do my thing.
Home made donuts were great! Hard to get anymore. Coffee was good. Customer service could be taken up a few notches and credit cards should be a must into day world. Other than that, happy with my purchase.
Walking by to go to McDonalds and he came out from nowhere as he shouted to stay off the grass and that it was public property. Very rude! I see why he has no customers !
My husband and I never ever leave reviews unless it’s positive but this place was awful. We got six donuts and 4 of the 6 were rock hard. Then we sat in the parking lot (eating the two semi good donuts) and looking up directions (we are not from the area) and the owner comes out and asked us to move our car. As we were driving away another worker was looking out the window at us. We were in the parking lot for about 2-3 minutes (not exaggerating) before the man came out and asked us to move. Meanwhile no one else was in the parking lot or in the store 😑
I pulled in for the first time as I never been in before and it was raining so I was in my vehicle for a few min taking down families requests....... i guess the owner came out and knocked on my window asked if I was coming in, I said not yet, he then yells private property..... I said whatever buddy no need to be rude, I was about to get a order but definitively not now! Just a strait up rude and nasty individual. Your not going to gain business with that attitude or harrassing potential customers
Was very hesitant to come here based on the ratings, but Im glad I did. Late morning on a Saturday and the selection of donuts left was still decent. The store itself was well kept, if a bit dated. The lone employee was an older gentleman who was very nice and elven went out if his way to make sure my kids got the donuts they wanted. Quality of the donuts wasnt anything to write home about, but they did seem fresh. My family didnt experience any of the rudeness others have commented on. Beings its the closest donut shop, I think well be back.
There was only one man running both the Dunkin donuts and pizza shop. He was friendly, the food was great. He must have the patience of a saint to operate both sides with such a cool attitude. Great place to eat, five stars!!
I went on a good day as all was OK. Needs more curb appeal. Looks closed most of the time. With reviews like this, its amazing it survives.
Was walking through that parking lot from a morning run and the old man (the owner I guess) had yelled at me that’s his private propertyHonestly was thinking to try their coffee and donuts but Thanks NO!
Rudest old man I have ever met in my life. Im in town for business and was walking down the road and ended up in the parking lot. Seems to me I was trespassing at noon. Real good way to promote your business. By yelling obsinities at patrons.
Love this place. The guy running it really knows his donuts. Of course there is no working bathroom, the donuts are stail, and the coffee is bad. But who cares!!!!!!
How do you stay in business when you have 20 people saying the same thing?Dont stop here, the owner clearly does not want your business.
I wasnt feeling well this morning and was somewhat lost in the area so I decided to park in order to find my bearings on my phone so I wasnt texting and driving. I was parked for under 5 minutes when someone whom was picking up trash in the parking lot knocked on my window and asked if he could help me. I told him I was trying to find where I was going and texts friend so I wasnt texting and driving and he told me this is private property and you have to leave. Ive never once been inside this shop and I will never go here. To be treated like Im scum of the earth because I sat in my car in your parking lot for less than five minutes is outrageous. It was extremely rude and disrespectful. I really hope you all learn to be nicer. No wonder why Ive never gone there.
Amazing. Walked in, apparently they were closed. Guy running the sub shop saud thet were closed but hed be happy to make a sub, also sold me some donuts. Excellent quality all around. Will definitly be back every time iTime i am passing through.
Pulled in from our road trip VA to PA. Changed my baby and was getting my things together, in the parking lot for a total of 3 minutes, and the owner verbally accosted me for being on private property. I was changing my baby to go inside for a donut.... No chance of that happening now. The owner said that I was trespassing. He continued to stare and watch.Weve passed thru before and its always been empty..... I see why. There is NO chance of them getting bussiness when you are harassed before entering the door!In no way shape or form do I suggest touching your brakes to stop at this place.
Was told I was trespassing, as I was heading in. That changed my mind right away. Then the owner says unless you are buying
I was taking a delivery down the pike when I noticed a sign out of the corner of my eye. On closer inspection, I saw that this sign read Worlds Best Coffee. This immediately piqued my interest, seeing as how I absolutely love coffee. Thats a pretty tall order to fill. So I stopped in and spoke with an older gentleman, who was working the counter. We talked about my passion for coffee, or rather anything caffeinated. I told him I need this Worlds Best Coffee in my life. He obliged, and I ended up walking away with my hot cup of joe. I took one sip, and immediately fell in love. While Im not a well traveled man, I do consider myself a bit of a coffee aficionado. So I cant say that its the Worlds Best Coffee I can however say that it was the best damn coffee I have gotten out of Carlisle.
We went for breakfast this morning while on vacation. Two of the four donuts we ordered had ants stuck to them and our ice coffee had chunks of sugar in the bottom. This is a nasty place and we will never be going back.
DONT SPEND A PENNY HERE ! ! ! ! I had stopped outside to answer my phone. I was on the edge of the grass as no sidewalk. Owner comes out an starts yelling at me an shushing his hands at me telling me no homless vagrants around here. I may not be in a suit an tie but my U.S.Army shirt an Levis are not trashy. Needless to say I informed the rude idiot that I WAS going to get about $200 of dounuts for a V.F.W. function but since he felt the need to act like an ass ? What a disrespectful morron. DONT SPEND A PENNY HERE !
Extremely rude . Dont waste your time.
Very rude! Yelled at us to leave and than preceded to take a picture of our license plate. Didnt even go into the business.
Worst donuts ever served up by a cocky grump who clearly wishes he werent there and makes the customer feel like an annoyance. Chocolate donut was hard and stale. It couldnt possibly been made today. No restroom even for paying customers. Nasty experience all around.
Very rude!! Had an awful experience! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!!
I WALKED IN ALL THE DOUGHNUTS LOOK VERY OLD. THE MAN BEHIND THE COUNTER HAS NO PEOPLE SKILLS AND CAN NOT HEAR CLEAR. I SAID TO HIM OOOHHH ARE THOSE YOUR APPLE FRITTERS? HE SAID HOW MANY DO YOU WANT? I SAID IM NOT SURE I WANT ONE, I WANTED A REAL FRESH APPLE FRITTER HE SAID WELL YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR ONE. AT THAT POINT WE EXCHANGED SOME VERY COLORFUL WORDS AND I WALKED OUT. If your lookin for a week old doughnuts and rude service then this is the place for you..
Went in the early afternoon for a coffee and a donut. Coffee was okay, but the donuts were horrible...small and hard almost like they were a day or 2 old. The gentleman working there wasn’t too pleasant either. I won’t be going back.
Always fresh and always good!!
Looks run down but the food was great. Id go there again.
Very rude and unsatisfied with service and food
The owner is a bitter old man thats Hates his life due to his lack of sex and failed business ventures
Coffee was nasty, service was horrible.will never go back!
Really bad donut
