Yeah it was actually pretty good I like stopping here for fuel prices and they have a good food menu

I was on my way to biking the nearby LeTort Spring Natural Trail but stopped here for a slice of pizza. Somehow the young lady cashier didnt like me very much. When it was my turn, she stepped away from the cash register and went to the hot food section. From there she greeted the gentleman behind me, not sure if they knew each other, but I realized she had just skipped me. The manager seemed to have made the same observation and exchanged glance with me. I shrugged my shoulder. The manger came and asked what I needed then instructed the young lady to ring me up. I wanted a drink to go with the slice of pizza, so she told me to get it at the fountain machine without ringing me up. When I came back of course now there were 2 new customers in front of me. I felt vert frustrated that she literally gave me a run-around. The other cashiers on the other side saw me and flagged me over to his cash register and rang me up. The extra star is for him! Thank you!! This facility was clean and the pizza was good, but the service I received from the first cashier was unacceptable.PS. This was not my first visit, but its still confusing to me what each cashier register is for, or if theres is a difference.

Ava was so nice, my friend and I went in at 12:30 wanting some food. Sad to see the restaurant closed was so sad. we saw the pizza sitting up front and were so excited! And Ava was so so kind!

RV friendly!RV fueling lanes and a dump station (wish we had known about that beforehand).Signage could be better for RVs - it was clear where trucks and cars needed to go, but not RVs.The cashier greeted us when we walked in the door which was very nice.

We love FJ most Truckers do. But if you have this kind of shower service your gonna lose many drivers out there. The manager should pay more attention to his co-employees. The shower room that we had was nasty, really nasty. Sorry for the photo guys but people especially costumers should know this. Costumers deserves a right and good service.

One of the busiest pilot-flying J in USA.. 250 parking lot, 20 showers. Denny’s, subway.. walk in urgent care.

Been a while since I been here.but have to say the cleanliness is has gone down hill... garbage all over the place..floors not swept over night shift standing behind counter taking about everything about life to upset them besides stalking the shelfs or garbage picking etc....

Drivers need decent hot food. Where are the potatoes in the pot roast. No soup on warmer. I should have followed note for Dennys saying come to our other location. That might be interesting. Truck and trailer in their lot. At least salads available this week not always

As a former PFJ manager I expect hough quality and service from every location I stop into. I never would have expected to draft a less than stellar review. This one hurt seeing the bathrooms very dirty and not stocked with soap or toilet paper and the coffee area in total disarray. The parking lot has trash and litter all over the place. But the one that got me was the customer service experience at the register. Based on attire probably an assistant manager. He had unkept greasy blue hair and an attitude. I called him out on being ouchy. He did apologize but it was the last in a series of unacceptable issues today.

Joe who is an employee at this establishment is one of the most honest people Ive met in my situation I just had. Hes very nice and considerate of others I can tell. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves here. I forgot my wallet in the shower which had almost 200 in cash inside. I usually dont carry much cash but I had to grab some today. Anyhow thanks again so much Joe your a life savor. And yes people I gave him 10 bucks for my appreciation.

Stars just for parking. Big truck parking lot which is rare to find up north. You will always find a spot. No matter what time of the day.

First time Ive had great service from a pilot. The lady who served my dinner meal was amazing she was very nice & very helpful thank you! I had the fish, green beans & macaroni which was fresh, warm & delicious. It was early evening so there is plenty of parking for the trucks. Pretty clean restrooms & stocked well.

Noon on a Saturday and theres no hot food up front. Dennys is only doing carry out. Great job guys.

Excellent. For RV drivers.Very easy in and out and great store. Five cents off a gallon for good Sam members.

Professional Driver. Fuel island garbages were all full and overflowing. Bathroom had no hand soap...I was told they dont have any. I asked is they had soap in the grocery section and they said yes. I suggested they take some of that and place it in the bathroom. The bathroom was a complete mess.Dennys had no staff and so LONG waits which they advertise on the board as you enter..The food bar in the store was just about empty and the pizza looked like it was a week old.The pumps shut down and the manager on sight about melted down in front of everyone.I asked where the reserved parking was that I paid for in advance and the lady behind the counter had to ask the melting down manager who waved an arm in the general direction behind the truck stop.I dont even want to attempt a shower.I try to give the benefit of the doubt but this was terrible.

Clean restrooms, very nice. Showers are always clean. They got plenty of food to choose from. Dennys inside. Parking is a little tight in some spots. Reserved parking limits the free parking spots. The later you get here the harder it is to find a spot.

The overall place is okay parking is not so bad most drivers just find a place and make up your parking but the shower the water pressure was very weak so I dont know if they have to share the pressure with somebody or they probably just need to get a bit of a bigger water heater or something so the pressure come out a little bit stronger so that was the only thing I have to complain about they had a lot of stuff to walk around as spaces lot of things to eat theres no competition for them so they get all the business a lot of truck stop here is accessible to the interstate getting on and getting off but they need to work on that water pressure for the shower so if yall can feel more relaxed with more pressure coming out being out his sore muscles from driving all day Im also the peppermint and the message was a great touch they put in the shower for the driver walking in great job on that .

Horrible place .. Customer Satisfaction is 0 stars..Please keep a check on how the employees are treating their customers.. will loose lot of customers.. Horrible girl working there.. so disrespectful and personal attitude.. Not in hospitality industry sweety..Good Luck

Dennys only has one waitress takes forever to get your food. They blast there music over a pa in the parking lot makes it hard to sleep

The only problem I have here is the same problem I have at all truck stops, drivers parking in the fuel lane when they are inside the store or in their sleepers. The store is clean and the staff is friendly

Long wait for shower. More hair in shower room than on my cat. Very gross. No coffee or half and half. Only one towel given. Missing the smaller one for the floor.

Stopped here in February and marked it on my map as a place to avoid if I need a shower. The shower was cold, as in, not even warm. Later, I found out from several other drivers that this place has had problems with hot water for years. Maybe itll be working when you get there but it didnt for me. The inconsistent cleanliness and maintenance of the showers and fuel lanes from one location to another are my primary complaints of Pilots and Flying Js.

Staff is nice and the showers are normally clean. Large truck stop by parking fills up fast! Quickly as 4pm. I advised other truckers to not take your 10hr rest break by the side wall because you will wake up to a driver beside you and beside him another driver plus a driver behind you. No kidding...very inconsiderate truckers will literally make two rows of parking right by the side wall blocking you in. Oh and if you ask them to move you’ll most likely get the response “ I’m in sleeper status “ ok driver you’re the one who inconvenienced me by blocking me in. I gotta go Now move!

I leave it up to staff to get Drivers from taking breaks in fuel islands. U think Drivers would know this, not!!!, shower had dirty floors, garbage was not empty, slow service but with a smile

Ok, so after waiting in an ridiculously long line I get to the cashier and attempt to order my plate. Mind you I noticed that this savage cave beast had moments ago played with a tattoo under her and and what looked like a sore. Not washing her hands or puting on gloves, She proceeded to grab a plate and wait for me to ask what I wanted. I acknowledge her filthyness and declined her services.

July 9th 2021 3:30 in the morning no cheeseburgers no chicken wings nothing as far as hot foods on the counter... I had to settle for a turkey and cheese cold sandwich

Its not acceptable for the myrewards machines to be out of service. Us drivers rely on those to print out receipts. You have three machines and all three are not working which means youre not managing the maintenance properly. Went in to take a shower and there were toenails in the sink, book a different shower and that one was disgusting with toilet paper bits all over the floor and piled up in the corners. For Gods sake were in a pandemic the least you could do is clean the showers thoroughly. Needless to say I did not take a shower here and all the manager offered was to put another shower on my card which I dont need.

Restrooms, Parking lot were Dirty, Trask cans over flowing and Truck parking had lots of trash everywhere.

Not one of my favorite places. It is clean. The place is gigantic so plenty of parking. Some of the employees are really great. Some are kind of horrible. Lol. I mean really? You see me standing there ready to pay. What do you think I’m doing at the register?

Customer service was great. Parking and fueling was a breeze.

Now they’re milking bobtail parking for $7 a night in the front lot. “No Bobtail Parking” signs in the front lot, except for the 30 reserved bobtail spaces. Get real Pilot. You make enough money on your fuel price scam. Parking is a necessity not a luxury. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Best thing about this place is the radio man, antenna man and Panama cb shop. Great radios, great prices, and excellent work. Very friendly guys. Its the only reason I stop here anymore. And of course the good looking lady at the counter, always friendly always smiling.

Love the NEW coffee machines. Grinds the coffee beans then brews FRESH COFFEE... AWESOME!!!!! Had dinner there with a friend. We had both pot roast and meatloaf. It was really good. No paper towels in the restroom tho...

DISCLAIMER - I just had a negative experience here prompting this review!Im going to start, and focus on my 50+ positive experiences here and leave the negative buried at the bottom where it belongs!1) As previously stated, Ive easily been here 50+ times for many reasons! Most important to me, their showers are worth the 5*s alone! Theyre always clean and maintained by amazing professionals who are some of the best under the entire Pilot Travel Center umbrella and because of their professionalism and their counterparts across the country, I will ONLY use said company for all of my over the road needs whether Im working or in my personal vehicle!2) The product selection is amongst the best in the business for food, snacks, and drinks! They always have what Im looking for and I definitely appreciate that!3) Customer service! You cannot beat great customer service and this store seems to understand that way more than most, if not more than all the other stores in North America!*Now a cashier, named Donald, tonight tried to change my mind on how I felt about reason #3 but a 8 minute conversation with Manager Nick and a reflection of all of those great experiences Ive had in the past was enough for me to feel this store definitely deserves 5*!A big Thank You to the employees of this store who are professional when dealing with professional drivers like myself!

In my opinion one of the best flying j truck stops out there when you factor in everything, parking, shower availability, cleanliness, hot and ready food. Everything is available here

Avoid a little after 3pm. Plenty of reserved spots with a few spots in the back rows. Pretty easy to get into. Grabbed me a spot for my 10. Lot smells very badly and even tho they had about 10 free spots people still started making spots. The trucks fly through the parking lot going at least 20 mph. They could kill you walking into the store. I found a spot for the night so I gave it a 4 star. Lost a star for the smell. We shall see at 3am if Im able to get out or if make a spotters will block us in.

Has a pretendies ( dennys, Lennys whatever) No Service, Surly slow attitude, badly prepared eggs, over hard means burned black on one side runny on the other sausage tasted so bad I tossed it. Even the birds dropped it soon as they picked it uo

Signs on every door say NO MASK, NO SERVICE but the janitor walks about freely without a mask. Most of the customers dont wear a mask either! The Flying J on Camp Swatera Road is only 30 minutes away and much better!

I always like stopping here for my road trips. Theres always a variety of quick healthy snacks & coffee is always fresh.Theres two (2) most important factors of stopping here. 1) Feeling safe & 2) Clean bathrooms!!

The showers are hot and clean with great water pressure. The bathrooms are clean. Huge parking lot got trucks, but fills up quick. The food at Dennys was surprisingly very good. The staff was very nice. Would definitely come back.

This place will not serve you if you are not wearing a face mask. This is the only flying j Ive been to that has that rule. The male cashier seems like he likes to be able to tell people. What to do. It is no longer a mandate in Pennsylvania and it was never a enforceable law. If you are not sick wearing a mask will not help anybody. 80 percent of the teatsfpr covid come back as false positives . Incompetent staff. No sense of customer service. There’s a propane filling station they never have operators to dispense propane. Don’t waste your time getting off the highway for this flying J. It will only frustrate you.

My fiancé is a tractor-trailer driver and I like coming to this pilot flying J because there’s lot of room to walk my dog Bella it’s always very clean

I like the fact that it has a place for DOT physicals in store, thats REALLY rare.

Showers were great, amazing pressure and stayed hot. The food from the hot bar was phenomenal. Got the chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy with Mac and cheese. So fresh and so good. Definitely gonna be my go to spot when Im in the area.

Put trash cans and it wont be so nasty with garbage. 1 dumpster in the back isnt cutting it.Front is immaculate! Kudos!

It was pretty clean. Has a nice size drivers lounge area. Dunkin donuts in the same parking lot. The parking lot wasnt that big. But it has different places close by to get to. They will let you drop your trailer, just not over 24hrs

This location is one of the worst locations to come to. They do not enforce anything around here. One of the best flying j is the one off the first exit in VA at least they don’t let drivers park at the fuel island. Flying j you really need to get you things together in Carlisle no one should have to sit three deep at a fuel island because you don’t want to enforce anything

GREAT PROFESSIONAL SERVICE! WE got stuck with fuel issue at the pump and the staff was really patiently helpful to our need. Went to Dennys to grabfpos to go and it was ready and done perfect for us. Clean and fully stocked! Thank You!!

Weve ate here twice from their hot bar, both times weve been mostly disappointed. Plus the pilot/flying j coupons arent accepted because theyre just a fuel stop. My cashier was friendly, and the lady working food but that was the only time they were nice out of all the times weve stopped. Bad thing is its the only place around for miles for semis.

One of the larger Flying J truck stops. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a Dennys inside. Showers appeared to be clean and well-maintained. I did notice that the parking lots needed some cleanup. Unfortunately I cannot totally blame the Flying J for the dirty parking lots as truck drivers are the ones guilty of throwing their trash out. One of my favorite stops when Im in this area

Absolute trash of a stop. They have the means to supply food for their hot bar but they refuse to make anything. They just shrug their shoulders and say they arent making or going to make anything. Avoid this dump.

My favorite fuel stop and place to park if its early in the day. Good clean showers and theres a Dennys also there. The hot bar is also up to date and good food. Staff is always friendly.

A very nice place to visit, I gave it a four star because of the fuel islands were filthy. Extremely busy but very friendly and great service. Great food options. A Denny’s also. A large amount of parking. Restrooms not bad considering how busy they were.

The service at the Dennys was the poorest in the interstate. It left me in complete shock the laxidasical way in which the staff seemed to float by patrons waiting to be seated. Awestruck I was at the food they brought to our table. It was almost as if they secretly hated us. Rest assure in the knowledge that if I am again forced to stay there I will eat create a better tasting meal on my truck. Who evaluates the performance and taste quality of the employees? They should be fired rehired and fired again in that order at least three times.

You can always find what you need at a Flying J Travel Center. They keep it clean and well stocked. They have a little bit of everything. They keep the bathrooms clean, offer showers, and lounge areas so you can stretch your legs and get out of the car or truck for a bit. Its better than stopping at just any old gas station.

Called about 10 times until someone answered the phone. Finally cashear Lee answered the phone. He was very disrespectful and told me he had a line in front of him. I said I just want to order a pizza and he hung up on me. I was 5 minutes away and when I got there the parking lot and store was empty. I asked him why he was so rude on the phone and he just wanted to start arguing with me. Ill never stop here again. LOVES TRAVEL PLAZA right up the street is a much better option.

Paid for prime parking at 330pm online upon arrival at 830pm all spots were full. The shift manager (Nik) refused to go have someone that didnt pay for the spot move. When I told him I was parked at the fuel island he threatened to call the police and have my truck towed, but still refused to get me in my spot that I had paid for. Will not return to this truckstop ever again.

High class drivers lounge. Has a large parking. However it gets full very quickly because this is one of the popular locations of this chain. It has a Boss truck repair shop and Idle Air which are conveniently located at rear.Attention Corporate: Please add a HALAL FOOD section in your deli. Give me thumbs up if you want halal meat in this chain. Thanks

A flawless visit. I used just about all the amenities and have no complaints. My waitress was great and cashier was extra friendly. This is what I remember a truckstop should be in my 25 years on the road. Some truckstops lost the concept of basic customer service. This is not one of them.

Could easily be a 5 star Flying J if they would put an employee on a golf cart to patrol the lot and make the idiots that cant back either learn or leave. The just pull in broadside behind the row of parked trucks and block the lane it takes to bring your nose around when you want to back in to a spot. One single truck here tonight is blocking about 9 parking spaces. Total inconsiderate piece of human trash. Learn to back a trailer or get a different career. Dam steering wheel holder. What makes it worse is Flying J doesnt seem to care that they are losing so much potential revenue. I rode through the lot and over all there are at least 25 wasted spaces. There are also almost as many spots where 4 wheelers and bobtails are taking up truck spaces as well. So by my calculation Flying J is losing potential revenue off almost 50 truck spaces. So mad at wasting 20min to get parked not going inside to spend a dime, will just eat Cheerios in the truck and I did plan this stop to come in and eat. Oh well I guess Flying J makes enough money they dont have to care about half capacity lot.

Ladies only on duty and it is obvious they refuse to clean mens restroom at a Truck stop. Disgusting.

No complaints about this truck stop as far as services go. It is a really popular location so its always packed. You need to be here no later than 1700 or it will be difficult to park. The CB chatter is non stop in the afternoon and evening but is not rated PG so be careful who you have with you in your rig.

I come here often due to how close it is to my work. I like the overall selections. The place is fairly clean. Waiting in line here, though, is more agonizing than any other truck stop, including flying Js, that Ive been to. Ive had quicker queues at Harrisburgs DMV. That isnt a joke.

Convenient place to fuel my truck. I stopped in here all the time.I stopped in there today and fueled up. I went inside to buy a soft drink. I get up to the counter and the middle slot is closed so I go to the one on the left. Lady was standing there and ignoring me. She finally turned toward me and plopped the register closed thing on the counter and told me you have to go over there. This register is closed in a real nasty and snotty way. The ladys name was Sam. I Am a professional truck driver. I am very cordial and nice to anybody I meet. Im clean and good-natured. I find that behavior unacceptable. I know other people who are driving automobiles come in there and buy things. But I have to say, they werent for the truck drivers that go through there, that Flying J would not exist.

Counter staff very friendly. Shower was so clean and plenty of hot water and pressure.

Husband loves stopping here, for a break. Kudos!

Gas prices are usually better than other locations. Great store and Dennys Restaurant at location. Good travel plaza when traveling!

Easy access off highway. I travel with a 5th wheel and they have a dump station and plenty of room to manipulate an RV.

Accessable to I - 81 is quick and easy. Restaurant service needs improvement. There is only 1 handicap parking in truck parking area. Caters more to cars and other travelers. Built by truckers money, caters to cars. Small community should be more catering to the tractor trailers.

Fuel pump shut down after tractor and DeF, had to re-enter all the information all over again.Mens room barely had any water pressure and out of paper towels.Was gonna go for pizza but it didnt look cooked enough.Fish looked good though.For as busy as that location is, its a pretty good one....
