Nice local furniture store. We were able to find a suitable couch, at a good price and get it delivered quickly. Problem solved.

We have continued to purchase our furniture from Skeen Furniture over the past 20+ years. We choose to do so because the quality of the products and the customer service are always top-notch. Maybe even more important to me is that Skeen Furniture is a family owned, local business which invests in and impacts the local community, especially the youth.

I visited Skeens about a week ago to look at beds. Robert was the associate that assisted me. When I got home I had a few other questions and he was nice enough to send me pictures and measurements of things so I didnt have to go back and forth. He was very helpful, personable and seemed down to earth. I will be needing some living room furniture soon and will definitely go back to him.

Appears to have nice quality furniture. However after we relocated a few of our items were damaged during the move. We went in too shop to replace what the movers damaged. We looked for about an hour, and other than an associate waving at us from across the store we were never approached or asked to be assisted. We left and have since replaced all of our items online.

Everyone we dealt with was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about everything they had in their store. They helped us find exactly what we were looking for and I was very impressed with how accommodating they were with the delivery. We live up in the mountains and its not an easy place to get to, but they were happy to make it work for us.

Looking to purchase a surprise recliner for my husband for christmas, so calling around to see who has options for recliners. However I will not be visiting skeen due to the rudeness of the representative answering the phone and her irritation by me asking 3 questions over the phone....I will be paying price in full with cash. The other companies in town Im sure will be happy to receive my business and answer my questions nicely.

They delivered it to the mountains which is difficult to get things there but they still did it without any trouble. I appreciate their services they provided.

My wife and I are a fairly young couple (mid 20s) and we came in looking for a headboard and were also open to shopping for recliners. We were working with a budget of ~$1000. Our saleslady immediately came to us and asked what we were looking for, which is great but she immediately labeled us as modern millennials and made poor product recommendations and did not seek to understand our needs any further. She was clueless we also were in the market for a rocking chair even though she found us sampling the rocking chairs. We felt dismissed and shooed away. We certainly did not feel welcomed.Decor of Carlsbad was able to accommodate without issue.

I have never been so disrespect as I was today. 4/29/2017 I drove to Carlsbad with my son and a friend and her daughter. We traveled to Carlsbad for Special Olympics and my friend Carol asked if we could stop by Skeens since the meet was rained out. We stayed in Carlsbad long enough to go to Skeens. As we walk in the lady we met seemed nice when I stood with my friend Carol. When Carol walked away the lady said....and I will quote Honey all of our name brand stuff is in this side of the store but if you need to see stuff thats not so expensive you will need to go to the building next door. I just looked at her in a weird way and when she made this statement Carol was taking her daughter to the restroom and began looking. I DECIDED to go to the restroom and when I came out Carol said Sarah I am going upstairs and look around. I said ok. So I began looking at recliner and found one that I thought would go nicely in my house. A man from the store walks over to my son and I and said leave and quit loitering if youre not going to buy nothing. Get on out of here and dont sit on my furniture. I could not believe in this day and time. 2017 a man would be so disrespectful to another human being. I had the money to buy the chair and he lost business and Carol said she was about to buy a lamp upstairs had we not come and got her. He followed my son and I to the door saying go on theres no parade here and yall can go. SKEENS HAS RACIST PEOPLE WORKING THERE! LORD HAVE MERCY ON HIS SOUL CAUSE I COULD HAVE BEEN JESUS WALKING BY. I ask the Lord to help me be the bigger person. I will not allow anyone to tell me Im not worthy because what man doesnt allow God has already done!
