Joshua Tavares was an awesome associate that was very informative and friendly. He wasnt pushy at all which was super refreshing. He just gave me all the info I needed and answered all of the many questions I had. He even gave my son a gift after the test drive, which made the whole experience a very memorable moment for my impressionable 9yr old son. My son said he cant wait to buy a Tesla! The Model Y and Model 3 were both amazing. Tesla > than all other cars. Thanks Josh!
The worst experience in car shopping ever!!!As I was picking up my moms car....I explained that I have never driven an electric car and need help and guidance. None was given, they only showed me how to put the car in drive mode and reverse, also helped with the side mirrors. They said they have no time to go over the car function and that it would take too long to go over them. I was not shown where the charger is and how to charge the car. You get better customer service at a fast food burger than buying a $49000 car from Tesla.I called the Carlsbad dealership and Lorenzo the supervisor said thats all they would offer. I guess they have so much business that they have forgotten any customer service.
The delivering agent was wonderful and everyone did a fine job making sure we felt welcome and got our delivery in short order. The restroom could use a little more attention, but overall,the experience was pleasant. Speaking of which, getting the car was a bit of a journey as we had to keep VIN hopping - due to our assigned vehicles being called away constantly. Finally landed a M3P and Sam who helped coordinate the transaction provided excellent service.
Dont call it a dealership; Its a Tesla store. Anyway, they got super helpful and knowledgeable people here. They got cars to test drive and the experience blew us away. We were kind of on the fence until the test drive, but then we went home and put our deposit down immediately.

The service center is great! They are very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Parts took a few days to arrive but they kept me updated on what was happening. The only complaint would be that my the inside and outside of the passenger side door were covered in bird poop somehow 🤷🏽♂️ but it’s nothing a car wash can’t fix.

Like a quick set up shop for driving. Ushered along to drive and only use what told. The app sign up said 30 minutes to test the worker was adamant about taking only 15 minutes to drive. Good enough seemed like a great car. The monitor wasnt as intrusive as Id thought it might be and worked very well. Smooth, quiet power and ride. The front seats caught me by surprise with comfort, I did like those front seats!
The people here are sort of nice but this was easily the worst purchasing experience I have ever had. There is an incredibly unprofessional amount of disconnect between what Tesla HQ and this dealer have. I had to go through several hoops to get my car delivered after I had already filled out all the paperwork. They gave me a VIN which they promptly changed on delivery day and messed all my paperwork up. I had to continually change my day of delivery as well. After all of my headaches happened, I found my complaints fall upon deaf ears. Literally there is no way to complain to anybody about the terrible experience I had. The car also came with defects which I am also finding trouble with getting fixed. They make you go through the app for everything and I am finding several glitches which are interfering with communicating with the team for repair. All around a terrible experience with absolutely terrible customer support.
Gas prices are crazy, which means the line for a Tesla is out the door. If you purchase in April you will not get your car till mid-june. The car salesman are very professional but they go customer after customer due to the high demand. Only downside about Tesla is with your trade in, usually at the dealer they take care of everything for you. With Tesla you have to take your own pictures and evaluate your own car. If anything is not correct you have to fix it and the return email (for the final trade in offer) can take days.

My only a a few month old car got an error. I took it here on day 1. They dont have loaners. They said it was fixed, that it just needed a software push that was going to happen the next day. It didnt happen. They didnt tell me. I had to call back and they said oh yeah... you are going to have to bring it back. I left the car at 7am. They called me and said it would be ready between 4/4:30. I got there 4:30, it wasnt ready and the only place to wait were foldable chairs outside. Yes, Tesla. Also, they dont wash your car to protect the environment. They could recycle the water and protect the environment more than if people wash it at home (or they think we wont wash our cars?) but thats their excuse, when Honda and Toyota always offered that courtesy. Extremely disappointed. While I do love my car (not the early problems, though), the service is awful.

I went in here to test drive Model 3 and Model Y. Jaclyn helped me with the test drive and it was very simple. After the test drive, all my questions were answered and I also got to see all different options they available. This helped me in deciding which model to buy.
Came in to test drive a car with my nephew and hes excited to come back and get his car. Lorenzo and Brian were amazing answered all our questions, explained to us how we wont have to come back to make a deal everything is done by phone. Thank you guys and see you soon
This is a review of the sales/customer service process, not the product. The signup process for a test drive was seamless. I enjoyed the test drive and was very excited to order. But my sales person was terrible. I have no idea how to even go about switching to a different one, so until I can figure that out, I wont be ordering. He didnt follow up afterwards to see if I had questions. A month later he reached out to ask if I wanted to put down my down payment. I said that actually I had some questions and we could touch base the following week (It was a Friday afternoon when he reached out) He said great. Did he reach out to find out about my questions? Nope! But 3 weeks later he did reach out again to see if I wanted to put down my down payment. Worst customer service ever. This is a HUGE purchase and all he seems to care about is getting me to put down my down payment. He doesnt seem at all interested in the customer support aspect. So I dont feel comfortable working with him, for sure. But it makes me wonder about the training process of the sales team in general? or how supportive they are through the process and after you buy the car? I feel like all he wanted was my money and not to provide good customer service. No thank you.

Great dealership. But the Y is not for me. Sun roof should have a cover. Mirrors should be larger, and screen should be lower and smaller and a screen in front of the driver so you do not keep looking on the side. Rear view is very poor. Great ride though. Glad I experienced it.
Can get car from this dealership. They dont have.you need to weight many weeks. Not good Tesla!
Went with girlfriend to pickup her new car. The ladies at the front were very nice and helpful. Service took far to long to fix delivery issues, paperwork was being dragged out for no reason.Overall nice location, great cars! Just need to remember customers come first and word of mouth goes far. Take care of each person that comes through the door! We are proud to be in the Tesla family but the cars should be fully detailed upon arrival and issues should be addressed in a timely manner.
Finding someone to help us took a while but other than that it was easy and clean.

Horrible, Horrible, HORRIBLE customer service! If it wasnt for the actual car - there is NO way I would be buying this car again. The customer service was GREAT up until I placed the order for the car! They followed up several times, were so sweet and accommodating, as soon as I placed the order for my car - it went straight downhill from there! They do NOT care. They just want as many orders as possible. They gave me wrong information on the pricing of my car over a few thousand - blamed it on their software. They then told me my car would delivered a certain date 3 times (lied to me acting like they put me on their priority list, not true) - then come to find out they pushed it back AGAIN not until the 31st... and heres the best part. You get free supercharging if you take the car before the 31st, but because now Im going to be out of town the 31st since they emailed me that my car will be ready on the 27th - they said I dont get the free supercharging for the year either! So its their fault their delayed again - and they wont even honor the supercharging now that Ill be out of town the 31st! So since THEY now made a mistake AGAIN - and they dont honor what they say! NOT TO MENTION - I convinced my friend to also order a fully loaded Tesla 3 full self driving as well. THEY DO NOT CARE. I PROMISE YOU. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will be contacting corporate about this.
Great service, friendly staff. I took my car for a windshield replacement, my service rep. Offered to give me an UBER voucher for $100 so I wouldnt have to wait for hours at their lobby.

I had ordered a car in late August and was told I would be contacted with updates. Since then I haven’t received any type of information about the vehicle. Fast forward to Monday, they had told me they canceled my order and couldn’t sell me a car. They tried to say they have been trying to contact me and let me know of the inconvenience. I explained I haven’t received anything of the sort. Some of the people I spoke to were very rude and would hang up on me mid conversation. They said they would talk to the security service to see if I could get my order deposit back but it’s not guarantee.

For being a new Tesla dealer of just a couple months they are providing an incredible service. I brought my car in in the morning and it was done in the afternoon for a battery coolant leak.Margaret was especially helpful in filling in all of the details and coordinating the repairs, thank you so much Team Tesla!
Do yourself a favor and test drive a Tesla. So much fun. The electric motor acceleration puts a broad smile on your face, if not sends you laughing like a kid taking their first ride on a bike! Theres no obligation or pressure. Nice people representing the cars and company. Check it out! Electric is the future!
The worst car buying expirence of my life!! It took a full week to purchase my vehicle despite it being in stock at the dealership, having a credit score of 750 and any deposit amount nesessary! I was purchasing the car through my business. Which I have owned for 6 years. It is a corporation and most of the bills come in the corporations name. Everyday they needed one more piece of documentation! The man helping me was very condensingly telling me that I should have bills in my name, despite being incorporated and, “things weren’t adding up” evidently he dosent realize that the whole point of having a corporation!!! I even said if its easier they can put it in my name personally instead of the business. At first they told me I was approved for a much higher interest rate than I was told on the website when purchasing. I asked them why I didn’t get the interest I was told online, he responded with “idk we just got with the first offer from our credit partner” when I asked for the lower rate I was told I would receive online it started the whole application process over! Resulting in a few more days until I could pick up my car. At no point did anyone go over all the features and explain anything about operating the vehicle.I paid the 5000 extra for self driving. I asked upon arrival how it worked they told me my cameras had to calibrate for several hundred miles. I drove my several hundred miles Just to find out one of my cameras never worked. I called the dealership and got a service appointment a few weeks out because that’s when they said my part to be available. The day before my service appointment they emailed me around 1 PM. I work 12 to 8 most days. And do not check my email in the evening. My service appointment was for 8 AM. Due to my early am appointment I didn’t check my email that morning either. Upon arrival I was told my appointment had been changed to 10 days out!!! At that point I will have owned my vehicle for two months and still not been able to use this feature that I paid $5000 for. I absolutely love my Tesla but the dealship and their coustomer service sucks! This is the 5th car I’ve purchased new from a dealership. Other car buying expirences have been exciting, I have been treated very well, and felt like my business was appreciated. Sadly that is not the case with Tesla Carlsbad!
You go in and the design is very minimal. A few couches and tables and a table for drinks. However the service was not minimal at all. Youre welcomed right in and introduced to the person that will be assisting in getting your paperwork ready. From there, you get a tutorial on the car youre getting. This was a wonderful experience overall.
Great service. Test drove with no host in the car (pandemic style). Had 3 on display indoors, too. They didnt have a sample of the base model 3, but they had several of the dual monitor version and they set an appointment for me so I drive to the utc showroom too also test drive the base model.

Called here three times and was promptly forwarded to the answering machine. Once after hours and two times during business hours. Finally drove down to find out why they cant answer the phone and check their messages. It appears everyone in the building including the sales people who I needed to speak to were all on their cell phones playing games or something.When someone is looking to purchase a $45,000.00 solar roof, you would think someone could find the time to pick up the phone.So what happens next you ask?The guy takes my information and charges me $100.00 and said you will receive a refund for the $100.00 later through some type of referral and to go home and wait for your email to start the real process.Elon wants to send people to Mars. I hope someone answers the phone when the astronauts call home. Call me old fashioned, but, if you cant answer the phone or offer some type of personal service, I become skeptical.

Tesla model 3 is great, but don’t get the standard range. Only get long range if you plan to do road trips.
Well I dont own a Tesla but plan on buying one between 2 and 3 years been through the showroom here and the auto repair center and the whole building is just lined with Teslas its an awesome View! The facility itself is new and clean! Ill be taking my Tesla there ...As soon as I buy me one.

Going to this Tesla service center was incredible! I dont think I can ever say that about any auto service center. Not only were they extremely nice, helpful and helped me right away, but they have me a $200 Uber voucher so I didnt have to wait there until my car was ready. So instead Im waiting at a nice restaurant in Encinitas until they contact me to come back. This makes me wonder how other car companies/dealerships can get away with such horrible service. O and the visit is completely free. I feel like I gained from doing this visit. Tesla fan boy 😜

PERFECT SERVICE ! We dropped off my wifes new Tesla Y here this morning at 11am ( scheduled appointment ) to have Home Link ( remote garage door opener ) installed and a few minor things corrected. Johnathan the Service Manager ( who we remembered when we brought our Tesla 3 here last year ) looked after us. We went over the car together so that everybody was on the same page as to what was required. Johnathan took pics of the areas of concern. A few hours later we received the heads up on our iPhones that all the work had been completed. I drove my wife over here and the way it works as present is we could simply take our car without seeing anyone ( no contact ). My wife and I looked our Tesla Y over thoroughly to see if our requested fixes had been carried out. To their credit the 5 items on our list were corrected even better than we expected.....100% perfect ! I wanted to make sure the Home Link was installed as that was a late add on our list so I walked over to the service center entrance to speak with Jonathan. As he explained the Home Link device is installed in the front trunk ( frunk ). We will sync that with our garage door sensor later today. As I said we are completely over the moon with the wonderful service and high standard of work we received here thanks to Johnathan & his crew !

I reserved a Model X to be picked up hereRonnie calls me and say Your car is here to be picked upA day later Ronnie and Naymon told me I couldnt pick it up here because it was in FL but they had to release my reservation but they would find me one with the same specs at the same price.I allow the release of the reservation so I can get another car.Ronnie and Naymon fall short on their promise are not able to deliver the car as agreed upon, even when they promised.Now I am without any car.Terrible experience here. Overpromised. Underdelievered
