Friendly knowledgeable staff, Great customer service, clean and organized facility, lots of products

Well I don’t usually write reviews or never have before but this company needs to fix their customer service. The lady that answer the phone i think her name is DEBBIE not 100% sure but she is very rude I was just asking about an inquiry about some brick. Sometimes you get good costumer service sometimes you don’t. I understand there bad days stuff happens but why work I’m just trying to buy some brick I don’t care. And it’s not my first time buying from them so that’s why I said sometimes you get good customer service and sometimes you don’t and that’s what brought me to write my first ever review.

I have been going to IBC for a very long time since it was it was Edgewood building supplies the the Women at the front desk have always been amazing to me during covid 19 they went above and beyond to help all of us To this day They still go out of their way for me on a regular basis wit says wouldnt go anywhere else thank you ladies

Probably the largest selection of brick and stone Ive ever seen in one spot. Friendly staff and very helpful when looking at my floorplans.

My wife and I just got married this fall, I grew up on this property and wanted to transform a seating area with a custom flagstone fire pit. We wanted a space our guest could enjoy and we could utilize years to come. Worked with Zechariah to get the stone and Gator Dust Polymeric sand/gravel that completely transformed the space from just a normal recessed fire ring to a hosting center piece!

My client wanted a stone surround around their fireplace so I decided to go to Indiana Brick Company for my supplies. The sales guy (Mike M) was amazing. He showed me their custom limestone shop where I was blown away! My client chose a custom limestone mantle and hearth and were completely satisfied with their purchase and experience. This place is highly recommended for any stone and masonry needs.

We were looking to mach the brick on our current home for an upcoming project. We stopped by the Carmel Indiana Brick location and spoke with David who was tremendously helpful in explaining what brick we have on our home now and what we would need in order to get a close match. Apparently our home was build with used brick, likely from Chicago in the 80s. (Who knew) He ordered us a few samples to get the match process started and we hope to make selections next week. Couldnt be happier with how simple David made this process.

We had a project using the thin brick veneer. Salesman was extremely helpful through the entire project. Even through the Covid-19 shutdown and him working from home he was helpful and proactive to help me get more material quickly when I ran short. Highly recommend IBC to anyone.

We love the brick on our new home! We initially struggled to find something that would compliment the dark siding and we fell in love with the rich color of the brick we found. Everyone I talked to was very helpful. Thank you!

I wanted to dress up my man cave with a brick wall. Scott was very helpful and introduced me to a host of options including thin brick. He showed me the various methods to install thin products. He even gave me a list of contractors to call if I decided that I wasn’t up to the task. I chose the Embarcadero from McNear Brick. It looks great. Great showroom and helpful staff.

This company is composed of a group of people that are disconnected from each other, their subcontractors, and most importantly the customer. Obviously there are challenges involved with any construction project and it is important to work with companies that will own their mistakes doing their upmost to ensure the customer is happy. Indiana Brick Company is NOT this type of company. We had mismatched brick when building our home and Indiana Brick Company pointed their fingers at everyone else not willing to admit their mistake. I recommend looking for another option if you are purchasing brick and/or stone for your project.

I had a DYI thin brick project for our basement and had just enough info to be dangerous. The product information and project guidance I received was very helpful.I would highly recommend either of their masonry locations.

I truly enjoyed working with Indiana Brick Company and their custom shop. My stone mantle, hearth, and backsplash are all top notch. Everyone in the building was committed to ensuring my experience was top notch. I wholeheartedly recommend IBC Carmel.

We just finished an addition to our home that was built in the mid 80s. After making a visit to their showroom in Carmel, we quickly found out just how many options there were to choose from. Their staff was very helpful in helping us pick out a couple options that went nicely with the existing brick on our home. Couldnt be more happy with how the new addition looks!

My family recently completed construction on a new home and our experience with Indiana Brick Company was fantastic! The options that were available matched perfectly with our other choices and the communication, workmanship, and result exceeded our expectations.

I can not say enough about the Carmel location of Indiana Brick Company. I was looking to install pavers and a firepit to my patio and a friend suggested I go to IBC. Everyone in the building was courteous. The sales associate that assisted me was very friendly, knowledgeable, and most important, patient. I thought I knew what I wanted, but quickly realized there was a lot I needed to learn about my project. The sales guy not once mocked my ignorance, but provided a consultative approach to assist me. IBC had a large selection of bricks, stones, and coverings, which was a bit overwhelming to me, but would be a plus to most. Their selection appeared to be of a higher quality than other brick yards and the big box stores. Their prices were better than most in some areas and competitive in others. I highly recommend this company and will come back for my other projects.

Charged 10% credit card extortion fee at purchase. Then, charged a 30% re-stocking fee on material returned that THEY ESTIMATED WE NEEDED!!!Follow-up...after contacting customer service, the restocking fee was promptly refunded.

I bought materials to brick a garage from their salesman Matt. He was a big help on getting the right color. The communication and the return policies became a surprise. Matt was eager to put together a list of materials but it was cut by 20 bags of mortar and many other items by the mason.Good thing because all returns incured a restocking charge plus $1000 worth of extra bricks that are not returnable.

I dislike leaving a bad review for a business and I only do so if necessary. Ben at the Carmel location was the most rude person and unhelpful person I have ever met in a business where we are spending money. We went in to look at pool coping pavers for our pool install and enter the building with no greeting. Ben looks at my wife and I and puts his head down. When we asked if he had what we were looking for he answered like we were bothering him and responded I dont usually work at this location and slapped some books in our face and walked away. When I asked him to show me pool coping pavers he then said he doesnt think they carry what we are looking for. Since we were getting no help here we called the 96th st location and decided to go there. The gentleman there was extremely helpful and gave us sample pavers (for free) of the same color of the pool coping we are looking for even though the pool coping wasnt in stock. I do not recommend dealing with the Carmel location if you go to Edgewood Building Supply or at least dont deal with Ben because he is clueless. We realize now that he could have done the same thing for us by giving us other samples of the same color. We were very disappointed in our experience.
