I love this store! Yes the prices are high but they have high quality food. The meat and seafood, and counter is exceptional! The produce is unbelievable! We made nachos with the ingredients we picked up and they were restaurant quality! This is my favorite Bel Air in the 916

Ive been shopping here for over 6 years, off and on. I have nothing negative to say about the grocery clerks, store cleanliness or how helpful the clerks are.However, I am only giving it this review because of the pharmacy.The techs in the pharmacy used to be nice, friendly and smile when you went in. You could definitely feel the family vibe and that your presence was welcome.Now there are new techs. Horrible!! Rude!! Snappy!! Meds not ready when they say they will be, they roll their eyes when you ask them how long, long line wait times. They are always out of stock of one need that I pick up and I have to wait 2-3 days to get it. Its a med that I get every 30 days. When Im out, it causes an issue with my body chemistry. Ive even enrolled in their auto refill database.It would be nice to get the other techs back, but alas.. just a dream Im sure

One of the nicer Bel-Airs. It looks like theyre starting to allow small groups to dine in at the bakery. Pretty clean and the aisles are pretty spacious. I can tell that the Raley family had this building made and didnt have to gut a pre-existing one. Staff is friendly and you dont have to wait long if you need help. Just, treat them how you want to be treated. Why annoy someone who touches your food?

Price a little high but overall a very good experience, really clean store and kind staff.

It must be a great place to shop otherwise we wouldnt have Shop Bellaire for 42 years keep the bargains flowing and if were still around this in 42 years will still be shopping there

This is one of the best of the local Bel air / raleys markets! Bel air has always been a good market but some of them raleys, Bel air have become less desirable. This Carmichael store seems to maintain good selection kind clerks and most of the things that you want to pick up. I have yet to find Clorox wipes at of the raleys Bel air market s. But you got to consider the covid...

Waffle selection wasnt what I hoped for and on the expensive side. There are some very nice Bel Air & Raleys around but the vibe in this was ok, but not amoung the better of its kind.

Went in for a mocha to the Peet’s counter which a clerk said was open. Nobody ever came even after ringing the bell. Then I asked a cashier who called someone to come up. Still nobody came. But the cashier also never cared that it was followed up on. Three cashiers were talking with each other. I also spend money shopping in here but this experience makes it worth it for me to take the slightly longer trip to Whole Foods instead. This is not the first time I had the experience that stocking shelves and chit chatting was more important than patronage.

Store is kept clean. Sometimes theres empty shelfs but staff are always helpful and friendly.

I give Bel-Air pharmacy and grocery store five stars good job ladies and gentlemen at the pharmacy and the personnel when you ask were something is and they take you or tell you what Ill its on is a great thing and when its time to check out the cashier and the bag boy and girl or lady and gentleman are courteous and kind so keep it up Ive been going there for 15 years maybe another 20 years to come again great job good people good management

Could use more checker staff. Outside of that, very clean, open shopping experience.

Every time my husband gets a prescription filled here I have to wait forever. Then when I get my turn they have to rerun the prescription because they didnt have our current insurance. So the pharmacist or tech reruns it, places on top of the cabinet. Then the Clerk after helping two other customers who came in after me, tells me to stand in line again. I get in line again behind another two people to get his prescription. Unbelievable! Theres one clerk in front and three people behind the glass window. WOW! Twenty five years ago I worked for Raley Superstores in the Pharmacy department we never made our customers wait for almost an hour to get their prescription or stand back in line again, ever.

The pastry department is disorganized, short staffed, and the pastry glass case is always dirty. It should be wiped down every day.The last month has been the worst. The staff looks stressed out, and annoyed. On two separate osscasions, Ive gone there about 10:30am, and there is only one employee available. One female made it a point to tell me she was by herself and busy when I ask about some cookies that they sell. She didnt bother to see if she had any in the back. Yesterday, the same attitude. Its not there fault if they are trying to shelve products and help customers. As much as they charge us for food, they should be better then Walmart.

Just simply put, one of the nicest, cleanest and one of the most helpful staff of all the grocery stores in the area. I love that this Bell Air offers self checkout, regular checkout and a helpful and friendly customer service desk. The selections of foods is on part with local competition. The place since the remodel looks very classy and the raw exposed polished concrete floors are nice. The deli department is very quick to take and fill your order. If you need to buy some food, Id recommend giving this place a try.

It was great @ 0700. People were friendly. Just stopped for the CIM 2018. Got me some meat for a snack from the deli area.

Usually the meat here is excellent. I bought a ribeye roast because it was on sale today. I believe it was 6.97 a pound. I expected the same quality regardless of a sale but it was far inferior compared to normal. However still really good service here and the staff are excellent.

Breakfast two bit cinnamon rolls and a large coffee. The cinnamon rolls were pretty good better than I expected. Friendly cashier lady.

High end stores like Raleys and Safeway are more expensive than discount stores like Winco, FoodMaxx and FoodCo. While that is the case, I shop at both types of stores. Mostly I go to Raleys-Bel-Air for the diverse foods and brands that are not available at discount stores such as Brownie Brittle cookies. The majority of my groceries such as common fruits, vegetables and meats I get at Winco for the lower prices. Raleys and Bel-Air has a diverse selection of foods, great tasting hot and cold food in the deli section including pasta and vegetable salads and nice menu of chinese food for take out.

The cakes at this place are phenomenal, Ive been ordering them for parties for 10 years now and they are just as incredible as always. Marble cake with whipped cream frosting is enough for you to feel like your time on earth was complete. Yo. My tastebuds stay shook.

I havent been to Bel Air in years because my loyalty is to Safeway. I went in specifically for the Chinese food. It was as fabulous as I remember it to be. I wish I could remember the name of my cashier, because she gave me the Customer service that I myself am use to providing to others.

Great shopping and courtesy is good

Great store in a great location. But some of the staff may need to be re trained on customer service. My pregnant wife and I got to the register and the cashier asked what kind of bags we wanted. My wife said we didnt need any and that we had our own bag. The cashier in a very rude way said you need to read this because clearly you didnt read our sign out front pointing at a sign saying personal bags are not allowed due to COVID. We clearly did not and as we were leaving even looked again and noticed the incredibly small sign on the door at this location was being blocked. We understand the seriousness of the nature and had we seen it, we would have left our bags in the car. We are new home owners in the area and it left a bad taste in our mouths for the store after that happened. There is always a way to speak to customers and that was not it.

Found everything I had on my list and more. Clerks are professional and friendly. They were advocating social distancing and super cleaning before it was mandated. Awesome store.

I love all Bel Air stores. They are clean, attractively organized, and they have great produce. Also a good selection of vegetarian, vegan, and organic foods. Great deli and bakery, too. A little pricey, but if you use your Raleys/Bel Air card when you check out, youll accumulate points towards coupons and dollar(s) off certificates.

Prices are way too high then anywhere else i go. I shop at Bel Air or Raleys only for small things

The level of dedication that Bel Air has to the customer experience is top notch. They have the most friendly employees in every department that Ive encountered, and Ive encountered a lot- I work in the grocery industry and intentionally shop here for all my meat+seafood and bakery items. The store is always clean, the shelves are always faced and organized, and the check out experience is stellar customer service, Id venture to say their standard is the embodiment of attentive customer service. Now, they are on the pricey side compared to other grocers, but youre getting a better experience than other options.

Bel Air is nice. Good food, great selection, basically all the stuff you expect from a grocery store. They also have really nice sandwiches and surprisingly tasty sushi.

I was told by the grocery police I couldnt bring my backpack into the store, but women can because they need to carry feminine things and men have to make due with a wallet and their pocket. Well, I walk around town I need to be able to carry things like water, which I was there to buy, and the face masks I am using for the day. And if I kept my wallet in my pocket, it would get wet with sweat and then the store wont take my money. I contacted the sheriff department and they informed me that the officers follow store guidelines. I wont be coming back.

This was my go-to store for awhile. They recently started having a Sac sheriff officer stand at the front of the store intimidating every customer that comes in. When I asked why, the cashier was extremely rude about it. The cop was also rude and watched me walk to my car and stared as I drove away. Extremely uncomfortable situation and Ill go somewhere else from here on out. Plus their pharmacy sucks.

I love this store. It feels like home. Customer service is A1.

Ive had 2 bad experiences at this store, and Im a big fan of Raleys and Bel Air.

I prefer this one to any other Raleys or BelAir.

It was a pleasant shopping trip and wonderful to find a quality store in the middle of Carmichael and Fair Oaks. Super watermelons just now and they were dessert after some meatballs from the deli which are excellent anyway you serve them. In my book, if you can eat a meat hot or cold- taste good thats good quality meat, surely!

I was having a bad day and came in to console myself with a decent meal as this store always has the best ingredients. Upon arrival I was greeted and by Oliver who was attending their seafood stand near the front entrance of the store. He customer service was perhaps the best I have ever received, he turned my day around completely. Thanks Oliver youre awesome!

I love this Bel Air, I often find my self here while I am at my mother in laws house. They have friendly service and the store is laid out nicely. The Asian section is not bad and I can find mostly what I need to cook a fine meal. The produce section is and Ive never had a problem with anything I purchase here. Id say the produce here is top-notch.

Great selection of grocery items. Store stocks some high end items which is nice for special occasions. Plant selection had healthy and nicely displayed items. Produce section was full of very good looking items.

Bellaire has very good produce to little bit on the high side but they do also have quality meat. I wish they had a little bit more options with grass fed meat. But other than that my experience a billiard Bel-Air has always been pretty nice . I went here and we got some cakes and sodas.

Bel Air has taken their gluten free products and incorporated them together with all the non gluten free products. It now takes 4 times longer to go grocery shopping. Plus, when I shop I dont want to have to look through all the products I cant eat to find the one that I can. An additional note 8s that when previously I went to the gluten free section I always found other products I wanted to try. In my shopping experience today I gave up because I couldnt find the gluten free items.I should just call in my order and make your people find them, but I will probably go elsewhere.

This Bel Air is not by my house but the lines are short and the produce is always fresh and stocked their Pharmacy is quick and efficient and their line management is on point so guys that come here just to people-watch especially in the pharmacy the old people getting their medicine quite enjoyable in the pharmacy you can find any gems right behind you you know what they say an apple a day keep the doctor away but its more like a noreaster today keep the kids from falling out

I was a little distraught when I went to get a sell items,Cuban coffee and they were out,so I asked for raincheck,i was told I needed to get 4 coffees to be able to get a raincheck, because I wanted more than 1,there was no limit on the quality thats why Im questioning this policy??

The store is very well stocked with fresh produce, dry goods, etc. It is very clean and maintained very well too. I was able to, on my first visit to find everything I was looking for, and then some. Parking space is abundant as this is a very busy market.

Always very courteous & helpful workers. The store I visit every Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings is located near my dialysis center. One of the patients is blind & they go out of their way to help my friend. They even always walk her down for her treatment. Thats really very nice of their management to allow someone to go to that extent to be helpful. I might also add that we all appreciate the fact that they allow us a cup of ice too. This particular Bel Air has everything for the serious cook and more. Their produce department is well maintained, clean and well stocked with a good organic section. The deli has many gourmet items to choose from. Expect to pay higher prices here, but in many ways it is well worth the trip when you want outstanding goods and friendly customer service

Clean, well lit and patrolled by law enforcement, not just security. The one drawback is..Bel Air is pricier than other similar competitors.

Wide variety of groceries, fresh fish, meats, bakery, vegetables, speciality products, flowers and gifts. Staff are very professional and helpful. Will take your groceries to the car for you, part of their great service. A complete grocery store with service that is at the top of the scale on excellent service.

Great service and good quality food

I love coming here for our grocery and produce needs. The customer service is absolutely excellent! And I love that their registers accept Apple pay and Android pay. The something extra rewards program is great. They send you coupons based on the items you purchase the most. I even use the pharmacy here for all our prescription needs. It can get a little busy sometimes but they try to get you in and out quick. I think the store is a little pricey at times but there are good sales and their customer service makes it a really great experience.

Why do people shop at bell air? It is always quite a bit more than other stores around it. I gave them a 2 star review because they sell the ice cream I like.

Always friendly and helpful. Good selections but moving toward in house brand which isnt as good. (Honestly, I generally think all stores in house brands are inferior.) In my opinion, both meat and produce are usually of significantly better quality than the Safeway across the street.

I absolutely *love* this store! This one in particular is the only grocery store I have ever regularly gone to in my life that has enough cashiers at least 90% of the time, whereas Safeway and Smart n Final somehow cant afford 1 extra cashier during rush hour when the average sale MUST be $50 MINIMUM -___-Anyways...the staff here are wonderful and kind. They make the sushi there fresh daily, so even though store sushi has a bad rep (deservedly), I have frequently purchased the sushi here and was at least satisfied with the quality. They also sell side items in small portions as well as a variety of sandwiches and other typical quick eats that other stores neglect to carry, or if they do, its days old and starting to look strange...Word of warning, stay out of the way of the old ladies. Theyll run you over and/or scrape your ankles, unless you are also an old lady..
